I haven't read them in a while but I feel like in Mariels book and the bellmaker ppl are just telling Mariel not to do something and she just does it any way, while doing a backflip and cartwheels away with an explosion behind her.

I crocheted a portrait of Martin the Warrior!
A part of the Redwall tapestry based on its depiction in the Nelvana show! It's based on my own pattern of that image. If anyone remembers the necklace I cross-stitched, it's an adaptation of that same home-made pattern.
Do you think anyone would be interested in purchasing one of these tapestries?

I love how the framing device of Salamandastron is the storyteller pulling a toddler into his lap and saying "let me spin you a yarn" and then the story immediately starts with the villain murdering a husband and wife and leaving their orphaned babies to die in the cold. Like okay Dumble calm down he's two.

Been wanting to draw something related to Redwall for agesss. I haven't actually read the books, but I've seen the Nelvana TV series and heard some of the audiobook. Also aware Netflix was making a new show (Please please please don't cancel it Netflix please I'm begging you)
Redwall means a lot to many people, and it's really influenced my art, so I'll consider this piece a sort of love letter to it! Hope you like this painting! Enjoy enjoy!!
