Curate, connect, and discover
bless op for this!!
I suffer from chronic migraines and medication sometimes only helps a little but this worked wonders!!
I made some slight adjustments that worked for me:
I added Eucalyptus to the mixture because it just felt right.
Instead of tea bags on my eyes, I just made myself a cup of mint tea (I’m always weary about putting tea bags on my eyes idk just a me thing)
I let a washcloth soak a little bit in the mixture (a minute nothing crazy) and placed it on my forehead once the temp was cool enough to touch
Just making the mixture and smelling it already relieved my pain. Relaxing in the bath and sipping on the tea made my migraine manageable.
Bless the person who sent me this, this may just be my new go to! ♡︎
So I just finally got rid of 75% of my migraine (it’s at tolerable levels now)
Ingredients: -Lavender -Rosemary -Mint optional: mint tea bags I boiled the ingredients in about 2 cups of water for 5 minutes and poured it into a hot bath. For the tea bags I steeped them in the bath water and put them over my eyes.
Super helpful and it’s the first remedy I’ve found that works for my migraines.
Hi, all. I apologize for my absence. I know I went AWOL for what seems like forever. I've been going through a lot of bad stuff these past few years (still hanging on by a thread) but I'm hoping to come back and reconnect with my crafts and witchy communities. I noticed that lot of blogs that I used to follow are no longer active. So, if you're an active blog that touches on any of these witchy paths, I would appreciate it if you could throw a like or reblog this post so I could follow you! ✨Kitchen ✨Green ✨Lunar ✨Tech ✨Shadow work ✨Charms ✨Hexes & Curses ✨Hearth ✨Hedge ✨Tarot ✨Elemental ✨Spoonie I'm looking to expand my old crafts and explore new ones. Thanks all and hope to get reacquainted soon. 🖤
A few things that I do when I’m at my lowest. Made specifically for disabled people, but anyone can do these! See this post for low energy witchcraft ideas not directly related to disabilities.
Enchant your blanket for a good night’s rest
Enchant your coffee/juice/water/NyQuil/whatever you’re drinking to aid in recovery
Enchant food to aid in recovery
Place sigils around to aid in recovery, memory, etc.
Keep relaxing herbs/stones/etc. around
Cast a sleep aid spell (I have a bag with lavender and amethyst hanging on a bedpost)
Cast a recovery spell (I have another bag with a variety of protection and rest herbs and crystals)
Enchant fidgets or objects used to stim to calm you and to never break
Use energy magic instead of physical spells.
Use art/writing/etc. magic! Draw sigils, deities, write spells, recipes, shopping lists, etc.
Stir and infuse good energy/banishing into teas or coffees.
Keep some supplies nearby (i.e. tea lights, a lighter, grimoire, oils, etc.).
Use showers, washing of face/hands, etc. for cleansing.
Brush out the bad energy when brushing your hair.
Ward health aids or mobility aids against breaking and bless them to work quickly and well.
Use apps or websites for sigils, spells, etc. (VirtualCandleSpell for digital candle spells, Craiyon for sigils).
Keep room sprays near you and bless them to serve a certain purpose.
Make emoji/song spells! Use corresponding emojis and charge them with intent. Use corresponding songs, put them on a playlist, charge them, and listen to it whenever you want to cast it.
Use makeup/skincare as glamours.
Use sunscreen as protection!
Use wax warmers and melts instead of candles.
Use oils in diffusers instead of candles or incense.
Enchant anything you use daily.
When it comes to kitchen magic (or really witchcraft in general), people get too hung up in correspondences, esp when first starting out. And I think focusing too heavily on correspondences is what ends up making people feel like they cant advance their craft.
In my opinion part of it is "you need to make your own correspondences". Sure some rosemary in a stew might work for healing or purification, but do you also associate the herb that way? I think of my beautiful rosemary bushes over the years, tying and drying their branches, the beautiful scent, previous spells I have done. It feels me with a certain feeling of safety that I can then channel into my work.
When it comes to cooking, I feel like it's a lot of energy work. All spell work incorporates our energies in some way, I especially feel it with cooking. Your hands and cooking tools are vessels to transfer your energy. You transfer your energy when you knead bread, cut veggies, wash the rice, stir the soup, you get the idea. Yes you can focus on a specific mantra, but the point is you don't always have to do that. You using your energy to change ingredients into something new, something nourishing for the body, is magic in and of itself.
I also use my energy to charm my tools instead of individual meals/drinks. A special tea cup charmed with a spell to bring me relaxation doesn't need me to do a small spell or mantra every time I make a cup of tea (because I would forget to do that anyways). Instead it holds the calming energies I have already given it until I feel it needs to be charged again. A favorite soup stirring spoon is going to spread my love to every meal I make using it just because it has picked up my own energy throughout its use.
I think just accepting the magic of the everyday and of your energy is esp important for those of us who feel like we have less spoons. Me cooking uses enough of my precious energy, but it's something I do out of love and because I enjoy it. That's where the real magic is.
It’s so easy to forget about a form of cleansing that is so relieving and fulfilling. Phone cleansing!
🌟-Clean off the screen, pop off the case and clean it out. Before you do this, trace a cleansing sigil on the screen with your finger then wipe it off. 🌟-Charge any sigils you keep in the case. 🌟-Pop it on the charger, let it charge to 100%. Additionally, making a cleansing sigil your lock screen for this. 🌟-Upload your photos and delete them. Or go through and delete the ones you don’t like. 🌟-Clean out your contacts. You don’t need that random person’s number anymore. 🌟-Get rid of ALL of those bubble notifications. All of them. 🌟-Rearrange your apps. 🌟-Unfollow/unfriend people on social media who you dislike, their content isn’t your thing anymore, or are downright toxic. 🌟-Change your wallpaper! It’s time for a new background. 🌟-Delete those apps you never use, they’re just wasting space. 🌟-Go through your notes, only keep the things you need. 🌟-Get a new phone case! 🌟-Narrow down your music selection to the things you actually listen to, add a couple new songs.

one of the largest misconceptions in witchcraft is that you constantly have to be doing huge elaborate rituals and spells that take lots of preparation
💤 emoji spells. they might feel ridiculous, but posting them somewhere safe or texting them to yourself or a friend can be a nice little boost
💤 don’t have the energy to create a sigil? sigilscribe.me creates them when you type in your intent
💤 music. perhaps you don’t have the energy or time to dedicate to writing your own chants for a spell. music can both add energy to a spell for you, and have the words you wish to use.
💤 your daily rituals have power to cleanse. from brushing your teeth to washing your hair, even clipping toenails. little moments of self care can be magical if you do them with intent
💤 scented soaps can be used in place of herbal baths if you have neither the time nor energy to do a full on bath.
💤 stir drinks in clockwise to increase a quality, and counterclockwise to decrease something.
💤 choose drinks or food with correspondences, and each bite has intention.
💤 sleep with your tarot deck, shuffle the cards. doing so will help bond you with the cards, even if you don’t have the energy to do a full reading.
💤 hold onto your favorite crystal, whether its wearing it or keeping it in your pocket. a little energy work can go a long way to keeping you magic in shape
💤 if you enchant your makeup on a good energy day, you can use those enchanted objects every day after.
💤 if you need a curse but don’t have the energy to perform anything elaborate, the evil eye works in a pinch.
💤 cleansing an area can be a heavy task, setting up the herbs to burn or spritzing salt water can be more effort to prepare than it should be. ringing bells to cleanse and area works just as well.
