Bedtime Headcanons (For the 2007 verse)
since there is little content about this verse I decided to make this post for it but if you want me to do it for the 2012 or 2014/16 tell me and I gladly do it!
Before I start I would like to say that I love that there are multiple verses because the guys personalities varies from each one and so, some of their personality traits too. That being said I hope you enjoy my headcanons! <3
1. Who is a night owl?: I think that Leo would be the night owl in these verse. His days on the jungle would keep him awake once he came back home. Everything was so different, from the environment to his brothers. Especially Raph. He would spend hours thinking on his quality of leader of the team as well as his relationship with his brothers, how the training trip affected diverse aspects of his life. Leo would meditate about his own persona, and how all that time alone might have changed him.
2. Who is a morning person?: MIKEY seriously, you would think that living in a sewer would be everything but interesting but this guys has the ability to find amusement in the smallest things and what better what of finding out new things than to wake up early in the morning. I can also see Donnie as a morning person, he enjoys the silent bc that make his job easier (cuz there are o distractions)
3. Are they cuddlers?
I think all of them would love to cuddle with their s/o but ones more than others. Here is the list from the most cuddly to the less:
Mikey Cuddly 10 / 10
Leo (surprisingly) Cuddly 9.5 /10
Raph Cuddly 9 / 10
Donnie Cuddly 8 / 10
4. Who is the big spoon?: Raph, Leo
5. Who is the little spoon?: Mikey (I have the feeling that he likes to be held)
Can be both: Donnie
6. What is their favourite sleeping position (individually)?:
Leo: on his back, or leaned on his right side. He sleeps peacefully but is a light sleeper.
Raph: On his back with both flexed arms and hands below his head, or just on his back but holding a pillow.
Donnie: Practically sitting tbh (due to his job) but usually falls asleep siting in front the computer.
Mikey: curled-up fetal position, sometimes holding a pillow
7. Who steals all the blankets?:
Mikey and Raph still all the blankets.
Donnie’s and Leo’s S/O still the blankets.
8. Who falls asleep mid-conversation?: Only the youngest of the brothers!
Raph
Mikey
9. Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares? (from the one who is more likely to the least likely)
Mikey: His nightmares are about birthday parties (and this is canon lol)
Raph: About himself as the nightwatcher, crossing the line and killing someone out of rage. Also could be about Leo dying while he was training far from home.
Leo: From weird things he saw on the jungle to lose one of his siblings in battle.
Donnie: rarely has nightmares
10. Who kisses their s/o awake in the morning?:
Leo and Mikey kiss their s/o awake in the morning
Donnie and Raph are kissed awake by their s/o in the morning

Hi everyone! I’ve wanted to know the most common criticisms about the franchise for a while now, so why not ask now.
I believe some of you know that I wrote a post about my own version of the TMNT. One of my strategies for writing it is to read fans fair criticisms and not making the same mistakes as the previous iterations.
I haven’t found a lot so I would like to know what you guys disliked(fill free to say your likes too) about the franchise.

Ninja Turtle Scale Color Comparison
Here's the colors comparison for the scales. Most of these have a light to dark scale, but the exceptions are 2016 where the 'highlight' is the tan area around their mouths, and 2018 where I show some additional colors on their skin, like Leo's red marks.
I feel like 2003 is a little dark, but that might be because of the picture I chose. Or it just looks darker with the colors separated.
I have the results of the next poll, and I still have shell colors to finish up and post.
When I get the eye color comparison (result of Poll 2) then I'll make Poll 3.
What are some of your favorite character relationships/dynamics in TMNT, and why? Is there anything that you particularly like seeing explored with them in fan works (art, writing, comics, etc)?
Hi! Some of my favorite dynamics has got to be the B-Team/Pb&J duo any iteration , whatever Leo and Mikey’s dynamic name is(again any iteration), and what I’ve seen so far of Jennika and Lita’s relationship in the IDW comics.
Despite those being my favorites I wish could have something, be it a fandom idea or actual iteration, that gives Karai an actual dynamic past antagonist vs hero and her and Shredders relationship. As much as I love her story(especially her and Shredders relationship), I wish we could have something where she is actually more than dark cold serious teen badass ninja. Kind like what Mutant Mayhem and Tottmnt did, I want to see the actual teenage side of her and have her get a friendship without it being a damn damsel in distress🙄. If you’ve read my fanfic Difference Between the Appearance you probably saw me trying explore that.
