Summary: amnesiac ghost girl finds a name for herself

Appleseed is a ghost girl

She doesn’t remember her life alive though.

She doesn’t know whether that’s unusual or not for the incorporeal. (Would it maybe be like living people? Most remember things, but sometimes have reasons for blocking or forgetting memories).

One thing that she does know though, is that people can’t see her. Well, people can’t see ghosts in general.

Nothing really else to do as a ghost.

After a while of doing that, she then goes to one of her favourite spots. The bakery. She likes to go in there and smell the delicious pastries. Some days she goes there early to watch the baker lady make them fresh in the morning. Seeing all the time and I effort she puts in.

One of the best selling things are the bakers apple pies. The ghost girl sometimes heard people around town talking about them and recommending them to their friends and families. So when she sees the smiles on peoples faces when they eat them, she feels a bit of pride along side the baker (even though she didn’t help at all).

One day the ghost girl thinks to herself, “if I was alive I’d like work at that bakery.”

But wait!

How would she even introduce herself? She didn’t remember having a name. So she spent some time thinking. She wanted the name to mean something.

Ah ha!

Appleseed

Appleseed thinks that the name fits

Apples are used to make the delicious pastries that the customers of the little bakery like so much, and Appleseed would love to give those apples, or happiness to others. So, she is the seed that grows and gives that happiness to others. She also thinks that the baker will find the name funny.

Happy that she now has a name, she continues watching the people walk by at her favourite spot.

Literally inseperable

Had multiple day sleepovers where we only saw each other

slept in the same bed ALWAYS (my bed was small so we made the entire floor a bed)

inside jokes that only we got

always touchy (i have so many photos where im laying/sitting/carried by her)

we literally wore a two person sweater to an all night lock in

why did we skype when we were neighbors

she went on a roller coaster with me even though she hates them (i didnt want to be alone)

joined taekwondo with me even though she had never done that before

went to school dances together because “we didnt need dates if we had each other”

matching lockscreens, shirts, ties, etc

our parents knew to always expect the other at our house at all times of the day

her family moved to a closer house partially so we’d be together more

i still think about her constantly

i have a framed photo of us together even if its sometimes hidden (dysphoria for me)

ok i have a crush on some guy at my school and he’s 6’7 (bro ik) and im 5’2 he’s so cute but idk if that’s way too tall for me
