This is the most specific of nitpicks but like.... Tedros WAS king the entire time. Like all 6 books, not even just 4/5/6. the reason they say "the king is dead, long live the king" is bc the second the old king dies the heir immediately ascends to the throne. Camelot can't NOT have a King for 7 years, Tedros was absolutely King, he just wasn't coronated. honestly the more you think abt the entire Camelot thing the more it makes no sense. He should have had a lord protector or a council or smth to rule in his stead but he can't be a prince; they can call him a prince all they like but he's just not. He ceased to be a prince the second Arthur popped his clogs,,, coronations are just a formality rly
