Okay so I have to many dragon oc's, and I just can't stop drawing them each now. So I have put myself to a challenge of drawing at least one oc a day thing. Of course I've been doing more then one away now, but I must do at least one now each day to show you guys just how many I have. Which is too many, I can't remember how many either.

Today I have Frost Tale my Atmosphere Wing 『My fantribe by the way』 and Seabass, my mutated Sea Wing. I've also noticed that my art style changes slightly on how I see them personality wise. Might post more drawings later.

Mud Wings huh, my my. So be it.

Whelp, Mud Wing won the poll, so now I give you guys my Mud Wings up for debate on who of which I draw.

I have Seven Mud Wings oc's to choose from on this poll, as that's all I the Mud's I own. But first, how about I show who is on the poll. Might as well share a snip bit of info on them too.

First up, Mintchocolate the Mud Wing. He is a somewhat anxiety filled dragon, and is always looking around his surroundings as he is scared of the unknown and unpredictable. He is very cautious at what he does and doesn't like going out too much, he likes hanging out with his friends and prefers to be around other dragons at all times as he hates being alone.

Fun fact, Mint Chocolate is an actual type of Mint Vine that grows in more damp shadowy areas, you can actually grow Mint chocolate leaves, I grow some of my own actually.

Second up, Mink the Mud Wing, she is a very well trained medicine maker and grower. She knows what to mix and put together for specific injuries. She is cautious at what she does, but is a true sweetheart by nature, she is calm and well collected. She is slightly shy when doing big hangouts with her friends and family, but always seems to have a good time.

Third up is Log, the Mud Wing, she is a fashion stylist model and is always trying to look her best, she only always uses the best mud for her soaking times. She can get pretty nasty, pretty quickly, she does have good intentions but can easily get distracted by her looks.

Forth up is Moss, the Mud Wing. She is a very kind, and patient soul, she is very coy when it comes down to doing things outside her comfort zone. She usually keeps to herself and does things on her own time.

Fith, Smudge the Mud Wing. He is a complete whimp when doing anything at all, he trys his best but always seems to mess up in the long run. He is a very pessimistic guy and is always worried about anything and everything.

Sixth, Sunstone the Mud Wing. He is a peaceful, joyful and very active one, he loves to hangout in the sun light and play. He is very optimistic and hopeful dragon by nature.

Seventh and last of all, Queen Muskrat of the Mud Wings. She is a very patient and stern soul, she understands her position as Queen. She is well taught and very sturdy when dealing with things. She can be difficult to work with tho as it's hard to convince her if she believes in a different idea or plan.

An art piece for someone.

I had made this art piece in an art fight on Amino, and decided to share it here. The oc belongs to Coda on Amino with there oc Amethys the Sea Wing. I had really fun drawing this girl for them for the fight.

I did forget her hind leg bioluminescent scales, but luckily Coda was alright with it in the end.

So, I don't know which one of my Wings Of Fire oc's I should draw next and so to start it. I thought I'd do it through a few polls. First one is on which Tribe category I should draw from.

Omg these look great!! Ur style is so cute and easy to digest! It’s so pretty!

I was only able to do a headshot tutorial, but if u want one I can make a fullbody one! And if u want one for a specific tribe! ^^

My style is a bit more semi-realistic so just be aware that you might not get it perfectly on the first try! And it’s great if you do, but don’t expect perfection, art is about making mistakes so you can look back and say “Im so much better than I was before”, progress is the best thing about art, but don’t try and force it. It’ll only give you burnout. Pace yourself and go at ur own pace! I’d love to see more of your art and progress in the future! ^^

Here yall go!! Ik it’s taken me such a long time, I wasn’t happy with my first pass and I had to take a break for a while and re-evaluate.

But I finally got it done!! Im so glad! ^^ I had a lot of fun doing this for yall, I hope they don’t disappoint XD

Alr, let’s get to the designs! ^^

I loveeeed doing peril, her colors can be so experimentive but I eventually settled on a darker color pallet than I originally planned. I like to think she brightens up like a light bulb when she’s angry #- -# I also think that like, after all the shit went down from the first arc she’s just in a constant state of panic. Like “OH SHIT WHAT DID I DO THIS TIME???” Like a deer in headlights XD overall i love the blue highlights, I think it brings a nice pop of color! ^^ I also gave her some slight sun motifs on her scales>>

Moon was fun to do, even if it’s not super creative. I loved giving her her braids, I like to think quibly put them in her fur in one of their little lovie-dovey spa sessions #> <# i overall gave her a bunch of moon motifs in her horns and like the chip in her ear (if you can call it that, that thing is gaping) ((sorry I made yall read the word gaping)) but anyway , I also love giving her a lil nervous expression, cuz she didn’t have a lot of interaction as a dragonet and I like to think that she’s just a socially awkward little nerd <3. I loved doing her design and giving her little yellow highlights for quibly>>

Quibly was fun to do, even if it’s didnt get his colors right at first. I went with a more yellow-greenish theme rather than a super warm color scheme bc moon<3. I overall made him more skinny and skrungly, and gave him lil hyena-esque freckles(and a lil beard #> <#). I also made his earring ginormous. Oo and I gave him a gold tooth! ^^ cuz like, vulture and yknow, guard for thorn and all>> jezzus i love him so much-

Kinkajou went through many shape language sketches, I needed her to stand out a lot, cuz yknow, rainwings are kinda hard to recognize with their constantly shifting colors, and I didn’t want to give her a permanent color scheme cuz that defeats the purpose of color changing scales. But I think I got it down! ^^ I gave her a brighter color scheme than the rest, bc rainwing and all, but now that Im looking at it she kinda looks like a clown - -* lol SHES NOT A CLOWN I SWEAR SHES JUST RLLY HAPPY!! I like it anyway.

Winter… winter is just a pretty boy :P i went through so many shape language and definition passes u have no idea. I ended up with 3+1/2 designs for just him alone - -. The colors were easy tho! I wanted to make him darker than most winter designs, just for contrast, and I liked giving him his short, upward facing neck quills, I think it makes him stand out! ^^ I also gave him some lighter blue highlight striping to kinda simulate frost <3 over all I really like his end design! ^^ I loved giving him his kind of moon shaped horns </3 :P

I honestly don’t usually have turtle be so dark of colors, but I actually think it suits him a lot better than a lighter design! ^^ I think it makes him stand out to other sea wings, who are usually brighter colors! (I also gave him a hint of a mustache > < hehe:P) hes chunky, even by seawing standards, and I love him far more for it <3 at first I want sure what to do for his colors, cuz I don’t really like just straight green, but I think giving him yellow/orange colored highlights really helped me like his design a lot better <3 his eye color really ties it together! I love his design and I like making him a lot stubbier than most seawing, I think it makes him so cute ^^! <3

I had a lot of trouble with their designs in the first place, and I’m sorry it took so long to get them to yall, I even had to do the sketching in my sketchbook and trace it into my iPad - -*. but I really think it’s worth it <3 i love them so much and I’m actually really happy with all of them.

I really hope you guys like them, I put a lot of effort into all of them and I think it really shows, even if their only head shots ^^* LOVE YALL hope yall have a great day/night/afternoon and remember to love others! ^^ luv yall 💗

Some design ideas fer ur Wof ocs! ^^

Ok, yall asked for this…

Ok so basically in this au, the first book starts off with Luna and the secret alliance thingie (which actually has a purpose instead of just being filler and the idea of silkwings being against the alliance and is instead actually against them and they do shit abt it) ((but anyway-)) in this au she’s like, one of the big leaders and the book has her basically just doing rebel shit against the hivewings, raising tensions between the silkwings and hivewings and simultaneously bringing justice in some way, and eventually proving a bother enough for queen wasp to take over the hivewings and start, yah know, stopping, jailing and killing the found rebels and actually try and catch them and stuff, and shutting down meeting places and shit, bringing more tension.

So Luna, (who is instead blues slightly older half sis) basically doesn’t even have a chance to metamorphosis in this book, and is instead captured by the the hivewings in one of the raids. They jail her and blue, who was found as an accomplice, and are put in the cells with the fire silks (which they hadn’t known abt yet) bc high security ofc and bc blues father is a fire silk and he is suspected to be one too(Luna doesn’t have flame silk). After they learn abt fire silks and what the hivewings had been doing to them, they plan an escape.

So the escape goes to shit, theyre re-captured and Luna gets killed/executed for planning the escape and thats how book 1 ends

Book two starts off with cricket and she isn’t actually the “I shouldn’t be good but I am for plot reasons and love interest” and is actually pretty nieve and a little self centered, she hasn’t met blue or Luna at all so she’s still unbiased/more biased towards hivewings. Or that is until she meets sundew, one of the very few leaf wings still around, who had also happened to be assigned to follow cricket for gathering information for the leafwing rebellion (separate to the silkwings rebellion). Cricket finds out she’s being stalked and confronts sundew (who isn’t just a super “Im good at all things survival and thats all I need”) who messed up and gave herself away, and they pretty much hit it off.

Cricket gets a lot more educated abt the real silkwing/hivewing/leafwing situation through sundew, and cricket spys on the tribes to gather information for the leafwings.

They eventually are able to get in contact with the silkwing alliance, hoping for both alliances to join together, and find out about how one of their leaders (Luna) had been recently captured by the hivewings and before they can even decide to do anything they need their leader back. So cricket and sundew take off for the prisons in hope of finding Luna.

But when they get there they find Luna dead and a small group of tortured and enslaved silkwings in a highly secure prison with no way out and are horrified to find that hivewings are even worse that what they seemed to be. (End book 2)

Book 3 starts off with blue, and we get a recap on what happened after lunas death.

So basically they execute Luna, re-capture blue and the escapees and lock them up tighter than ever before. Blue ends up worse bc the hivewings think he is the main accomplice and they put him in a seperate cell, and like almost torture him?? Not really but, he has a far worse punishment than the rest.

So basically they torture him, and theyre like “this kids useless if he’s not a fire silk, so let’s just get him to metamorphosis early, see if he’s a flame silk, if he is we put him with the rest and if he ain’t then we can kill em off!” So they like, inject him with like special hormones that make him start to metamorphosis early and they find out he is a flame silk.

So he metamorphosises and we get a small time skip to close to the time when cricket and sundew get there and and in the middle of his little force induced goop coma, he gets interrupted by the guards splitting open his cocoon, mid metamorphosis may I remind you, so hes like only partially developed, and is forced into the rest of the silkwings cages. So basically hes like only slightly metamorphosised and is like a little deformed-ish, his wings are crumpled and unusable and the only thing he has is his flamesilk left, so he like can’t even fly now, which is like a silkwings only goal in life, so like hes left phisically mentally and spiritually broken, his sister dead, enslaved, his only defense (his silk) ripped away for resources, chained down, unable to move two feet and his wings, his last chance at true freedom, ripped away from him, not even able to metamorphosis on his own bodily accord, and now unable to ever fly again, with no second chance… well, you can see why he started to hate hivewings.

Not hate, despise. He fucking hated hivewings.

In the short time of him finally able to see through all their Bull shit he realizes that hivewings won’t change and have never been good to them, and he just fucking hates all of them.

So when cricket and sundew arrive, and he sees another hivewing, the only reason the doesn’t fucking maul her when they free him is bc sundews there. And well, it’s not like he can escape without them with the deformed wings and all. So he goes with them, dispite the hivewings presence and ends up traveling with them and the other flame silks back to the leafwing village.

They get to the village and shit, they do their thing, and blue finds himself more and more comfortable in the hivewings presence, dispite himself, and is more and more enraptured by her surprisingly calm and loving demeanor. Dont get him wrong he still fucking hates hivewings, but cricket has matured so much, she’s careing and loving and sympathetic, he can’t help but feel more and more whole around her. Not because she completes him, but because she helps him see that he is already whole dispite his wounds and scars,(his wings).

He doesn’t understand why he can’t hate her, and throughout the rest of the book they kinda pull toward each other more + more, and eventually at the end of the book they have their hugging-crying-i-love-you scene and they do their couple thing for the last two books.

Blue still hates what the hivewings did to him and his sister and tribe, but is now able to understand that they can change, and aren’t all just evil.

I don’t really have anything else for the last 2 books, or at least not yet, so yall have free reign for ideas and shit, and feel free to let me know if u guys want more!!

Here is Hummingbirds full-body ref! ^^

Like I said, a lot more colorful and skinnier than most Fruitwings, not really inspired by any real fruit either, (she kinda looks like one of those rainbow tiger pictures you see on the front of kid coloring books - -*). I didnt really feel like making her scales shiny like how they usually are, partly bc I need her ref colors but mostly bc I was lazy ^^* overall I hope you like her!! I sure do! #> <# <3

This is hummingbird, my new Fruitwing oc!! (She’s actually a recycled oc but eh-)

She is trans-female, which you can see in her coloring, and is a somewhat strange dragon. She’s thinner than most Fruitwings and her tail is particularly skinny and longer than normal. To most other Fruitwings she looks sickly at first sight. Her name itself is also quite strange, “hummingbird”, it doesn’t go by most fruitwing naming conventions, and many she meets have trouble remembering her name, some more traditional dragons refuse to call her that at all. Though some dragons have trouble first meeting her, it doesn’t stop her from forming good connections with her tribe, and she is actually considered quite beautiful to other fruitwings.

Her scales and horns are her pride and joy. She cleans the twice a day-daily and avoids damaging them as much as possible to keep them from fogging or dimming. Her scales have a beautiful shine to them, almost opal like in appearance. Colors shift across her body depending on what angle you look at her from. Her horns are almost like ivory, gleaming like pearls. She cleans and oils her beak regularly and she never eats messily.

Almost contradictory to that, she works at her villages only daycare, doing arts and crafts with the dragonets there. She is immensely patient with them and wants to have her own dragonets one day. But she struggles with her perfectionism, and can get quite firm with them is they mess up any materials, leader forbid her scales. As desperately as she wants a mate and dragonets, she doesn’t think she’s ready for it. For now, the daycare is enough for her.

I hope you guys like her!! I had an absolute blast experimenting with a more painterly style for her!! And her colors were so fun to mess around with ^^

She’s actually a lot more colorful in her full-body, but I haven’t had a chance to get to that yet ^^* I hope to tho

I loved experimenting with the colors for these two and trying to show their feelings through colors! I had a blast! ^^ I loved doing their poses, though it was a LOT of work ^^* and the expressions were so fun! Hope you like it yall

IVE DONE IT

Introducing the Fruitwings! A small tribe with a low temper and big hearts! They tend to be solitary unless in groups with family members or bonded duos/triads! They have slight sexual dimorphism with males having light horns and females having darker scale colors! They tend to have bright, vibrant scales with lighter underbellies and dark, flexible spikes that frame their silhouette. Their most common colors are bright greens, yellows and oranges, with cooler colors tending to be more rare. They love fruit and basking beneath the sun on cool days, and are nocturnal!

I loved drawing this and I had a blast coloring it! A lot of their design came directly from @Insert-name ‘s concept sketches! I briefly considered making them like flamingoes and having whatever fruit they eat being their scale color but ultimately decided against it due to them not having feathers and the nature of most fruit. I also named them Fruitwings so that we can make them ANY fruit type we want!! Mango, grape, dragonfruit, banana, orange, lemon, apple, blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, hell, nightshade berries can all be available as colors for these bad boys! Hope you like them guys, because I think they’re awesome! And I would love to make more! #^ ^# see yall later, got something cookin in the oven rn so you guys might see it very soon!

they live in tropical forests and can't fly as a hatchling because their wings are stuck to their body until they're older~ as they age, thier scales soften and they turn yellow, then as they age more they get even softer and turn brown~

although they're omnivorous, they prefer to eat fruit or leaves and are basically vegetarians~ But if they get in a fight with something like a predator and win, they'll eat it~

the soft "spines" on their back are actually very soft (unless the dragon is still green/young), although for intimidation can be 'fluffed up' like bird feathers to seem bigger~ they can also rarely drop their tails, and fully grow them back after a few months~

the shell-face serves no real purpose, maybe they're clumsy and keep bashing their faces into trees ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
