In a realm tore by mistrust between the 8 kingdoms, it is now thrown into war by The Pale Queen. It’s up dishonored knight Sir Stradivarius, who has been assigned by the Goddess of Hope to find the Chosen One, who will put a stop an eldritch curse. However Sir Stradivarius might play a bigger role in this than he thought…
No hubo verano ni otoño.
I started a personal project a few months ago, although it has been slow and tedious I hope to finish it, I really don't care if it's not something that becomes popular or not.
I wanted to resume something I had abandoned a long time ago (writing fanfics) and now I'm venturing into writing something longer, but above all my own.
It's funny because I'm writing this in Spanish, but my native language is Spanish, so I still want to try my luck. 🙂↕️🤍

i really gotta spend more time with my grimoire
we parted briefly. she's a messy one.
me, having no inspiration to write in my wip:
also me, writing inspiring things on tumblr for other young writers: do you hear something? procrastination who? sips tea
stop what you're doing.
listen to me.
breathe.
it's okay to be overwhelmed at the idea of writing in your wip. it's okay to procrastinate. you have all the time in the world. it's okay to write in it months later, if you need that break, if you can't find inspiration.
stop stressing over your penmanship. it can be fixed. stop stressing over your word choice. that's what editing is for.
if your wip feels incomplete, don't start over. reread, plan, write. save the editing for after it's all on paper.
as writers, we often terrorize ourselves for not writing perfectly the first time. thing is, we don't realize that we're giving ourselves reason to stop writing. nothing you write will ever be perfect the first time, maybe not even the second time.
you just have to remember to breathe, come back to it later, and leave those worries behind.
i - can't find your inspiration? needing to focus? use essential oils! dab some on your paper, or even directly into the ink! peppermint is fantastic for calming the mind and helping to concentrate! rosemary is another great example of enhancing cognitive performance.
and for those techy witches scolding me for even suggesting essential oils on computers, no worries! place a drop or two on your inner wrist!
ii - mediate next to your wip! this is an amazing way to connect further with your characters and the world inside!
iii - light some candles! scented or unscented are fine. after all, it's the color that matters! yellow can help specifically with increasing activity, while brown promotes concentration.
iv - use crystals! i use crystals daily and they give me a lot of energy! use alexandrite for that little spark of inspiration!
v - tea! before, during, or even after writing, drinking tea has always aided me. i use a mixture of lavender and peppermint to boost my mood, spark creativity, and it's incredible for your immune system!
vi - make your own pen/enchant your pen
i suppose making your own pen is a bit far-fetched, right? so, perhaps you can find a feather that calls to you. doesn't sound appealing? enchant the pen you favor and let the pen do the thinking for you.
never editted your WIP
never enjoyed it thoroughly
never felt satisfied enough
if you're nothing but pleased
if all you do is edit
if you never write anymore
if you've abandoned, ripped up, shredded, or spit on the very pages you held dearly—
your WIP is amazing and nothing will ever make you any less of an author.
☼ my name is avery and my blog runs two themes at once! witch themes/writing themes.
☼ if you haven't made the connection already, i'm an aspiring author and an inspiring witch!
☼ i just recently got back into writing after a two year hiatus, unfortunately stemming from a spiral in depression. i've realized that writing makes me feel better :)
☼ even better news, i've started my very first novel! i plan on attempting to get it published in early 2022, but that's a long-term goal.
☼ i love writing in my grimoire the most! something about being able to create not only memories, but test out my artist skills as well makes me feel alive!
☼ i hope to become a positive member in this community and i love making new friends! feel free to message me, especially if you want an opinion on your writing! i love reading!
☼ my favorite author right now is andrea cremer! she actually inspired this novel!
the scariest part about being a writer? pouring your heart and soul into this one fic that has taken literal months to piece together only to have this sick feeling in your stomach like it isn’t going to be a hit. not because it isn’t good, no, it’s worthy of a pulitzer, but just because readers won’t interact.
this is my message to my readers and all the readers out there: interact with your writer’s fics. someone can leave a seven word compliment along with a reblog on one of my stories and i’ll think about it for days. writers, good writers, have stopped writing because of the lack of feedback they get. nobody should get the amount of support to the point where they feel it’s worthless to do the thing they’re doing.
readers. like. reblog. leave a comment.
Yes see totally agree but how do I convince my coworkers to let me count fanfics for our book bingo competition in the office?
fanfic writers are so fucking awesome man. they write novel length fics that are sometimes even better than some published bestselling books written by professional writers. like fanfic writers are professional writers to me and they gift us their masterpieces for free. they give us something we can look forward to after a long day. something from which we can seek comfort when life is hard. something that can be our own little getaway. in a world of capitalism, despite everything, they give us all of these for free. like holy fuck. shout out to every fanfic writer. I wish all fanfic writers a very ‘I love you with all my heart and soul. I thank you from the bottom of my heart’
One of my greatest joys as a fanfic writer is me shoving the usually beacon of hope hero into a moral dilemma that he can't win, forcing him to hurt an innocent person to save a life.
I have made the hero sin and I will tear him apart for it.
I've updated my Sonic IDW oc fanfic. Please tell me what you think.
summary of the three chapters.
13: Our main character is no longer a threat to the planet, but that doesn't mean everyone else believes so.
14: Sonic is forced to make a decision to either hurt an innocent or let someone die.
15: Big is a nice person. Also angst.
I respond as much as I can (terribly, I believe)
reblog if you’re a writer who’s very terrible at responding to comments from your readers, but has read them all and loves and appreciates each and every single one of them very dearly
Random idea I just had:
Imagine, if you will, a genie. A good genie who would even twist wishes to make them better, but the person who summoned them is the biggest dumbass in the universe. Now the genie must figure out how they can twist the wishes so the idiot remains unharmed.
Updated my original story. Tell me what y'all think please.
When you find that song that resonates with your plot and you just listen to it on repeat while imagining your story.
I wanna continue my current original book, but it's kinda depressing how it's going.
Can anyone just check it out and give it a reviews? Criticism very much appreciated. I just need something that isn't silence.
It has two chapters for now.
I wish I had a little goblin assistant to help me write.
Made a book. Need thoughts. Tell me what y'all think. Please. (^._.^)ノ
Love writing my traumas into my characters. It's like therapy, but more convoluted.
Writing is like bargaining your first child to a fey except the child is your energy and the fey is everything but writing.
I don't plan my stories. It's all just vibes.
So many ideas, not enough energy. O writing muse, why has thee cursed me in such a way?
Writing is like a sport except I'm playing against myself.
Anyone else has a brain that's giving them story idea after story idea, but none of them click? The hyperfixation isn't hyperfixating.
Me misspelling a word and deciding to keep it misspelled: no no no, it's a character trait now.
Y'all, imagine how incredible it would be to be both a writer AND a necromancer. You can just telepathically write your books. And not just that! Imagine the efficiency!
Skeleton number one, write this cool plot I have in my head! Skeleton number two, make a tumblr post about how cool it is to be both a writer AND a necromancer!
