Here's a lineup of les Garde Royale in their everyday on duty armour and their battle armour.
I get why Brigandine isn't used often in animated stuff, but I just wanted to have fun and I love how Brigandine looks đ
This is Suzy, a gay silk cloth Acrobat (although in this original sketch, he is a tight rope walker) who dreams of becoming a ballerina but canât because heâs a chubby cross-dressing drag queen. So instead heâs in a travelling circus, where he can be himself and be a âflying ballerinaâ all at the same time.
He is my entry for this monthâs Character Design Challenge, this is my initial sketch of him as a tight rope walker.
Suzy was initially supposed to be a tight rope walker who would dance like the beautiful ballerina he dreamt of becoming, but I realised that as a silk cloth acrobat, the silk cloth could serve as his cape. Instead of wearing the cape himself if he were a tight rope walker, a symbolism for wings and flight, it is the silk cloth that gives him his wings and his ability to fly. This would serve as his connection with the Circus and how the Traveling Circus, his family who accepts him and loves him for who he is, is what helps him accept himself and inspires him to be more than just his initial dream of becoming a ballerina. So he happily chooses to stay in the Traveling Circus and performs his act âThe Flying Ballerina.â

Henrik. Before the war.
Before the war (p2), During the War, After the War
I know Iâm late, but despite being a long time fire emblem fan, I only got a switch recently đŹ so hereâs an oc for three houses đ Heâs Hilda and Holstâs brother.
Proficiency in Swords and Reason. Hidden talent in Authority. (Yes, I know mortal Savant is a crap class and that Hero is nerfed in this game, but Hero has always been one of my favourite classes in fire emblem and it just makes sense personality-wise for him to also be good with reason)
If Hilda doesnât want to try bec of how awesome Holst is (heâs so freaking cool) and she is avoiding expectations, Henrik decided to deal with their amazing brotherâs reputation affecting them by creating different expectations for himself by pursuing different things. (Swords instead of axes, a diplomatic approach instead of being a general. Too bad a war breaks out). Henrik really believes in Claudeâs vision because he wants the battles at Fodlanâs locket to end so that Holst doesnât have to fight all the time. He is close with his sister and is very good friends with Claude (and definitely wants him as a brother-in-law đ)
Two variant designs I made of Nikolai from last year. The one above is him as the Grand Duke (after abdicating the throne) and ambassador to the throne, while the second is of him as a reluctant emperor.
Wayne Hopkins.
Look at what I found in my drawings folder from a year ago đ (2016).
Kind of imagined Hufflepuffs would encourage everyone to try out, even young third years (even if they donât make the team just yet).

While thinking Danielle/CloĂ©, I was wondering why she never felt right as a metaphorical sunflower. I always knew it would be important to her character, but it never felt right. It was while focusing on Jiro that I realised that Danielle/CloĂ© isnât the sunflower, Jiro is. While Danielle/CloĂ© is the sun itself.
So here is Jiro with his fellow sunflowers, me trying to capture the happy and bright but soft gentle-ness and sincerity of his personality.
The Mysterious Woman from my modern-fantasy project, George
I'm a little sad that we did not get Swampstat (I also really wanted to see our favourite hoe burn) but it has still been absolutely amazing so far. I am looking forward to hopefully seeing Dumpstat.
R.A.B.
Here is my version of Regulus Black for this monthâs CDChallenge.
He is definitely an amazing character, and Hero, that needs more attention.
Regulus goes to show that just because youâre Slytherin and a Black, the seriesâ usual antagonists, being a Slytherin or a Pureblood (not to mention being one of the most notoriously fanatical of the families) doesnât make you evil.
Although he became a Death Eater, He later on actually realised that Voldy is batshit (Despite how he was brought up, Heâs got morals!). He was the first to discover that Voldemort made Horcruxes, and even gave his life to destroy that part of Voldemort (Heâs smart!) at only 18 years old. He was also kind to his house-elf, Kreacher (awesome).Â
I gave him shorter and neater hair than Sirius because since heâs practically the opposite of Sirius, I got the impression that he values and understands the responsibilities of being a member of House Black. Since Sirius left home, Iâm sure he became the heir to House Black and that he would take that role seriously, even embracing it; especially since his brother set such a rebellious example that he would want to show that he is very different from his âirresponsibleâ older brother, that House Black would be in good hands with himself; thatâs also why I wanted to emphasize his regal-ness and why I wanted to show him in non-hogwarts robes. But the snitch shapes cape/coat clip would be a nod to him being a seeker when he was a student.
Regulus is also a star in the Leo constellation (JK Rowlingâs metaphors or whatever you call them are so awesome) so I gave his coatâs hood some fur to subtly reflect a Lionâs mane. The red shadow, is also a reference to his Bravery. You donât need to be a Gryffindor to be brave, but just because you arenât Gryffindor, doesnât mean you canât posses some of its qualities, like Bravery.Â
I made his wand white because brown would be the common wand colours, and I wanted to show that he was very different. But I chose white specifically because it gives the impression of goodness and I wanted to reflect that side of him. I kept his wand simple because I got the impression that Sirius was the more flashy and extroverted of the two, and although Regulusâ would be the one who is proud of his lineage, he would be the more quiet and subtle kind of person.
Hope you guys like my version of Regulus đÂ
