Being “proship” is common sense, I think the label shouldn’t exist

waiting for the day when antis realize that indulging in fiction is not the crime here, but supporting the harassment and threatening of other REAL LIFE people is.

do you ever look at an anti's account and think, 'god, you must have so much anxiety'? the way they start screaming 'NOOO IM NOT A PROSHIPPER GUYS' when they say they like something slightly problematic or something. walking on eggshells, knowing that at any moment their entire friend group could stretch a ship into something problematic and cancel them and send death threats. it's just so depressing to me.

I certainly do pity some antis, ships are such a minor thing to have to have anxiety over. Especially not when the world has so many problems.

it sucks that people can't stand the idea of SA victims coping using fiction if it doesn't fit the criteria of being repulsed of any and all subjects related to said trauma. you can't cope if the incident is presented in a way that isn't explicitly horrible. if you find comfort in rewriting your trauma, you can't do that either because it has to be bad all the time. you can't redefine what your trauma means, you can't process it in the way you want to, you can't heal because you're "not doing it right."
