Este año he reinterpretado el árbol de navidad del año pasado! Creo que el árbol ha quedado un poco más dinámico con sus ramas-brazo. Además, esta vez he diseñado dos versiones porque cuando ya tenía acabada la versión de las letras pensé que sería divertida una versión con más animalitos.🐰❄️

This year I have reinterpreted last year's Christmas tree! I think the tree has become a bit more dynamic with its arm-branches. Also, this time I have designed two versions because when I had already finished the version with the letters, I thought it would be so much fun to have a version with more animals.🐰❄️

ESP || Esta ilustración, aunque hace unos años que la hice, sigue siendo una de mis favoritas. Ayer fue el día de la madre y no hay mejor día para contaros la historia detrás de ella. Hace unos años mi madre se embarcó en el proyecto de abrir un espacio propio como terapeuta, como todos cuando empezamos un nuevo proyecto tenia mucha ilusión y nervios. Yo quise contribuir con una ilustración que le diera buena suerte y pensé en esta ave majestuosa, la cual en muchas culturas esta relacionada con la buena suerte, la compasión, la bondad y la resurrección, acompañado de diferentes flores como el lotus, símbolo de la espiritualidad, e insectos polinizadores esenciales para la vida. Aunque en estos momentos casi todos los autónomos vivimos momentos de incertidumbre, espero que esta ilustración le siga dando toda la buena suerte necesaria para volver a florecer!🌻

ENG || This illustration, although I did it a few years ago, is still one of my favorites. Yesterday was Mother's Day and there is no better day to tell you the story behind it. A few years ago my mother embarked on the project of opening a space of her own as a therapist, like everyone when we start a new project, she was very excited and nervous. I wanted to contribute with an illustration that would give him good luck and I thought of this majestic bird, which in many cultures is related to good luck, compassion, kindness and resurrection, accompanied by different flowers such as the lotus, symbol of spirituality, and pollinating insects essential for life. Although in these moments almost all the freelancers live moments of uncertainty, I hope that this illustration continues to give her all the good luck necessary to flourish again!🌻

CAT || Aquesta il·lustració, encara que fa uns anys que la vaig fer, segueix sent una de les meves preferides. Ahir va ser el dia de la mare i no hi ha millor dia per explicar-vos la història darrere d'ella. Fa uns anys la meva mare es va embarcar en el projecte d'obrir un espai propi com a terapeuta, com tots quan comencem un nou projecte tenia molta il·lusió i nervis. Jo vaig voler contribuir amb una il·lustració que li donés bona sort i vaig pensar en aquesta au majestuosa, la qual en moltes cultures està relacionada amb la bona sort, la compassió, la bondat i la resurrecció, acompanyada de diferents flors com el lotus, símbol de la espiritualitat, i insectes pol·linitzadors essencials per a la vida. Tot i que que a hores d'ara gairebé tots els autònoms vivim moments d'incertesa, espero que aquesta il·lustració li segueixi donant tota la bona sort necessària per tornar a florir! 🌻

ENG || This pandemic has brought us many sad things but, perhaps, among the worst is the situation of the residents of nursing homes and their families. This issue is close to my heart since I have a grandfather with advanced Alzheimer's disease who can hardly communicate with us anymore and the fact of not being able to touch him and be close to him has been very hard and truly sad.My grandfather's residence is in another city, different from mine, and a few months ago, when we could still go to see him (even if it was several meters away, with a methacrylate between us and with masks that covered half our faces) beautiful storks welcomed us resting on the street lamps near the road. I've never seen so many storks together as on one day I thought we wouldn't see any because it was a very cold day with a heavy rain!It may seem silly but seeing them was a joyous note on a tough and dark afternoon, so I thought I'd pay them a tribute!

ESP || Esta pandemia nos ha traído muchas cosas tristes pero, quizás, dentro de las peores está la situación de los residentes de las residencias de ancianos y sus familias. A mi este tema me toca de cerca, ya que tengo un abuelo con alzhéimer avanzado que ya casi no puede comunicarse con nosotros y el hecho de no poder tocarlo y estar cerca de él ha sido muy duro y verdaderamente triste.La residencia de mi abuelo está en otra ciudad diferente de la mía y, hace unos meses, cuando aun podíamos ir a verlo, aunque fuera a varios metros de distancia, con un metacrilato entre nosotros y con mascarillas que nos tapaban media cara, unas preciosas cigüeñas nos daban la bienvenida descansando en las farolas de la carretera. Nunca había visto tantas cigüeñas juntas como en un día frío que llovía a cantaros y pensaba que no veríamos ninguna!!Parecerá una tontería pero verlas a ellas era una nota alegre en una tarde dura, así que pensé en hacerles un homenaje!

ES|| Hay muchísimos tipos diferentes de amor y este cartero está preparado para repartir todo tipo de cartas a todo tipo de destinatarios! Siempre me ha parecido un poco absurdo fijar un solo día para celebrar el amor, y menos si se trata de uno estándar con unos roles predeterminados, con mucho consumismo y con poco sentimiento. El amor, de todo tipo en su infinidad de formas (¡Ah eso sí, todos menos los que son tóxicos!), tendría que celebrarse todos los días del año, ya sea el amor por la familia, el amor por una o varias parejas, el amor por los amigos, por los animales de compañía, por el planeta tierra, por el arte o, el que le gusta más a este conejito trabajador, el amor más importante de todos (y a veces el más difícil) el amor a uno mismo, siempre sin caer en el egocentrismo. Así que ya sabéis celebrad el amor todos los días! ♥️

EN|| There are many different kinds of love and this postbunny is prepared to deliver all types of letters to all types of recipients! To me it has always seemed a little absurd to set a single day to celebrate love, and even more so if it’s a standard love with predetermined roles, a lot of consumerism and little feeling. Love, of all types in its infinite forms (Oh yes, all except the toxic ones!), should be celebrated every day of the year, whether if it’s love for family, love for one or more partners, the love for friends, for pets, for the planet Earth, for art or, the one this hard-working bunny likes the most, the most important form of love (and sometimes the most difficult) the love for oneself, always without falling into egocentrism. So go and celebrate love every day!! ♥️

ESP|| A finales del año pasado recibí un encargo muy interesante. La idea: realizar una #ilustración para el cartel de un concierto benéfico para un orfanato del Camerún. Aquí podéis ver un pequeño detalle de la ilustración con una preciosa #rana arborícola “Leptopelis boulengeri” que reside en diferentes países de #África incluido #Camerún una curiosa flor endémica y tristemente catalogada como vulnerable en su estado de conservación llamada “Allanblackia gabonensis” y unas bayas de café que se cultivan en la zona de Nkongsamba, lugar donde se encuentra el orfanato.

ENG|| At the end of last year I received a very interesting assignment. The idea: to make an #illustration for the poster of a charity concert for an orphanage in #Cameroon. Here you can see a small close up of the illustration with a beautiful tree #frog that resides in different countries of #Africa including Cameroon named “Leptopelis boulengeri”, a curious endemic #flower called “Allanblackia gabonensis” sadly listed as vulnerable in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, a worldwide conservation status listing and ranking system, and some berries of #Coffee cultivated in the Nkongsamba area, place where the orphanage is located.

CAT|| A finals de l'any passat vaig rebre un encàrrec molt interessant. La idea: fer una il·lustració per al cartell d'un concert benèfic per a un orfenat del Camerun. Aquí podeu veure un petit detall de la il·lustració amb una preciosa granota arborícola "Leptopelis boulengeri" la qual resideix en diferents països d'Àfrica inclòs Camerun, una curiosa #flor endèmica, i tristament catalogada com a vulnerable en el seu estat de conservació, anomenada "Allanblackia gabonensis" i unes baies de #cafè que es cultiven a la zona de Nkongsamba, lloc on es troba l'orfenat.
