Something people never want to talk about is how bad the hate for bkdk gets to the point where shippers feel like they have to pretend they support other ships—especially Izuocha—just to avoid harassment. Like, do you realize how messed up that is? Imagine not being able to openly talk about your favorite ship without getting dogpiled, blocked, or called slurs, unless you throw in a “btw I also support Izuocha!” as a shield. That’s not normal fandom behavior, and it doesn’t happen at this scale with almost any other ship.

Bkdk shippers are constantly told they’re delusional, toxic, fetishizing, or “forcing a queer narrative,” and then when someone claps back with “if you’re homophobic just say so,” everyone loses their mind like that’s the worst thing that’s been said. Meanwhile, people have literally had to delete accounts, private their art, or stop talking about the ship at all just to feel safe online.

So no—it’s not that bkdk shippers “can’t handle disagreement.” It’s that they’ve had to build walls and disclaimers around themselves because the level of hate isn’t just “I don’t like this ship,” it’s targeted. And if you’re ignoring that reality and only focusing on one sentence in a post that calls out toxic fandom behavior, maybe take a step back and think about who’s really ruining the fun here.

sometimes I wonder why y'all are obsessed with specific characters and I'm like "why them" but then I remember that sometimes its literally not your choice you just look at them wrong and all of a sudden they're taking up your every thought forever

I literally couldn't be happier with this sketch page I commissioned from @pbeltarts!!!! They totally captured the progression of Izuku's emotions that I was looking for. I can't wait to post the fic this is inspired by! let’s talk about the battle between Ochako and Katsuki

first of all that battle was my favorite out of all of them cause thought it’s really showed the of person uraraka not only that go luck and easygoing friend but aomeone who wants to win and losing destroy her, but she always will hide that(kinda like Katsuki but less extreme) and how she is her own character and has her own battles and just izuku’s friend.

But I really feel like we need to talk about is the way Ochako chooses how she will win for the fight, she has been collecting up boulders that have been ripped from the ground from Katsuki’s explosions and at the right moment she decides to release them all here’s the thing letting all those really big boulders fall from the sky that means she was praying one of them hit katsuki, which could imply that she wanted him dead, because if one of the borders hit him in his head it would squash his head. What was she trying to achieve to win or to have him dead?

like this makes me is that the reasons for not choosing to go with izuku plan. Was it to get rid of him cause I think she knows what would happen if it hit him!! Like what was she doing? And then the crowd gives Katsuki shit for “ruining her plans” well ofc he did ITS WAS GOING TO KILL HIM HE WAS PROTECTING HIMSELF!!

And people love to say she some angel that girl is CRAZZZY cause ain’t no one was the same mine. It is going to do that. Always talking bout “my powers aren’t made to hurt” WELL YOU ALWAYS GOT OT BE PROVING US WRONG HUH!!

you know... i kinda do not get why people get very toxic and nasty in this fandom when it comes to some ships or headcanons, i mean come on i headcanon izuku as bisexual or pansexual with a male lean and i headcanon katsuki as gay or demi gay but i am not gonna attack someone for having different headcanons then me cause i just ignore the one i don't agree with and move on. though i am also not surprised with so much of the toxic behaviour since MHA is a very popular fandom and fandoms that are this popular do tend to have toxic side that you can avoid pretty easily if you try
