Let’s talk about cleansing! 💨
Sage. Rosemary. Frankincense.
These are my go-to cleansing tools. In terms of magic & the craft, I personally favor anything that involves fire or burning, as it seems to be most effective for me. Sage & rosemary I use for cleansing bigger areas, with a deeper impact. The Frankincense incense I use whenever I just have to do one room, cleanse myself, or when the “vibe just feels off.” Most of the time, I light these up, open my windows, and walk around like the crazy witch I am holding a smoking plant or stick above my head.
Sage🌱 all cleansing! This not only gets rid of bad energies, but also the good! Sage cleansing creates an open space for any and everything, so I NEVER just use sage and call it a day. When using sage, always replace whatever you just clearned with good energies. This can be done by burning incense right after(that’s what I do), spraying a mist for whatever intention you want, visualizing white light, etc. I sage with the windows open, and incense fill the space with the windows closed. *** SAGE CLEANSING IS NOT SMUDGING. Smudging is a deeply sacred CLOSED practice specific to First Nation people… So the next time I see a Becky at Coachella burning sage to cover up the smell of her own sweat, if she says she’s smudging, I’m going OFF😂
Rosemary 🌿 has a ton of magical uses; however, for cleansing it’s super effective. I like to use it specifically for spaces I do any spell work in, or read cards in. It helps enhance psychic abilities, purifies negative energies, and improves mental clarity.
Frankincense🔥 as incense is my preferred method of every day cleansing, and also offerings to both my Kemetic and Norse gods. It corresponds with protection, prosperity, and specifically when burned helps relieve anxiety + stress. I find it works really well when I feel something off during a reading or when I don’t want to sage my whole house.
These are my methods of cleansing, but there’s tons of others! The next time you just want to reset the vibes, or clear out some unwanted energies, here’s some ways you can do it! ✨Witch frens, how do you cleanse???
this is one of my shitty art works from today :( anyways i’m feeling like i totally forget how to draw and it drives me crazy which not good and i’m tying out this new style or maybe even technic to draw when you do it by layering, which i already used when i was drawing not digitally which acril but rn in digital art i feel like i totally suck at this stuff and i just really want to learn to do it better. so for now i have goals and this whole quarantine took my motivation and power and i just want to be finally free and wish it is going to be soon because i’m literally dying which is not good yk yk
My guide on sigils; making, charging, and learning how they work!

Jeez, long time no see! I hope to start making some more original content again over the next few months seeing as the uni grind is beginning once again. I’m currently starting some research towards my dissertation on gender in early modern england (can’t believe i’m going into the last year of this degree…)
It’s been a whirlwind couple of months, for me and like,, everyone else on the planet- got my second year feedback and averaged a high 2:1- relieved to say in the least! Whilst I’m back on the grind now, here are a couple of productive things I’ve found great for filling up my free time:
1) Learning a new skill- I’ve always wanted to try out yoga and meditation, seeing as I’m neither peaceful nor flexible. I try to practice 3x a week, and I’ve already noticed improvements in my breathing and flexibility, and I’m just feeling a whole lot calmer! Think of A Thing you’ve always wanted to try, but put off because you thought you’d be no good at it, and give it a good stab while you’ve got the free time.
2) Reading. All. The. Books. I set myself a challenge to read thirty books before results day, to keep my mind off of it all- proud that I’ve succeeded! Reading is such a peaceful, productive passivity and I will never cease to shut up about it.
3) If you can, getting outside for a good long walk. In this heat, a good 2 hour walk around my area with my boyfriend, or a podcast, has been a really nice substitute for more high intensity cardio. It’s also a good idea if you’re looking for ways to get outside without putting yourself in a high risk environment- changing up your regular route can be the greatest little adventure! I somehow ended up by the Thames a couple of days back, which was so cool.
4) Pick up some extra qualifications to boost your CV! I work part time in childcare, and am interested in teaching, so I got a little online certification in developmental psych to stick on my CV.
5) NETFLIX. So much netflix. Good binge- able shows I’ve been loving include The Umbrella Academy, The Sinner, Nightflyers, and Another Life. Also, I rewatch brooklyn nine nine every. damn. day.
Hope you guys are safe, and well!
