“You did, barely.” She pointed out before adding. “If you had me with you, you probably would look less fucked up right now.” Despite what he told her, she fully understood where he was coming from. That heavy moral weight of knowing you saved lives, but at the same time many were still lost. “Was it that bad of a fight you thought I couldn’t handle it with you?” It was somewhat a genuine question, but there also still was some bitterness behind it. She understands she’s not him, but she’s also not ordinary. Eve did pick up on his lack of eye contact, but she was not going to be an ass and point that out. It was both weird and painful to be on the other side of this kind of conversation.
“You’re going to smell like peas if you stick with that bag.” She was speaking from experience, she’s tried that trick once and never again. She quickly made an ice pack, with beads inside to help mimic the same feeling a bag of peas, but longer lasting and odor free. “Here.” She considered tossing it his way to test his reflexes, but also she does not want that be how she finds out he broke his hand, she opted in to instead held it in her hand for him to take. “Is it just your face that’s hurting or…” she gestured to the rest of him. “I can help take something off—not like that.” Eve only caught how her offer sounded after she said it out-loud. “In case you’re not able to yourself.” She clarified her reasonings.

Once a maggot... always a maggot.
Guess who's missing.
I know where that is.
Try not to crush my wedding gown.
Do you realize that this is our very last day of being single women together?
Hey, what do you think?
What could possibly go wrong?
Some things are gonna change.
We'll be moving upstate,
Did you say moving?
Did you say dance?
Do we get to wear real clothes?
There's dust on those boots.
It's been a hard day.
WeII, at least somebody knows how to get down and dirty.
The evidence, please.
It's just paint - it'll wash out.
They couldn't possibly find me…
Guilty.
Who said you'd be on the team?
I'm not really good at being on teams.
What's the catch?
Not gonna give up until I get what's mine.
Nothing more we can do.
I made it. I made it. I made it!
How did you get here?
The rope's too short!
Can you make it?
Situation under control.
We got beat.
I have to do everything.
See that?
But it exploded as gently as possible.
Can I call you back?
