It’s almost the 4th of July don’t forget to salute America’s Ass!!!!!
“Thank you, dear.”
I won’t do things for money. I can’t. So I’ll hold out and say, in my mind, ‘There’s a really cool diner down the street from my house, they make really good pancakes, I’d be happy doing that. I’d certainly be happier doing that than I would be on a set trying to be, you know, a sexy football coach.’ That means some really frugal years, but I don’t have kids and I’m fine eating cereal if that’s what it takes. — Brie Larson for The Guardian(2013).

the best way to enjoy star trek is to just never talk to other star trek fans about star trek
Aladdin (2019) was just so fun
I’ve always felt like I’ve had the ability to choose which roles I was going to play. I don’t think that the industry agreed with me, but I’ve always had a bit of a headstrong attitude of only doing the things that I really believe in and want to explore.
“what do you want to do with your life?”

Tessa Thompson Says Valkyrie Would Spoon Captain Marvel, Thor
No offense but women should be allowed to talk about the horrible effects makeup had on their self esteem and how the beauty industry in general affects women in general without having to put ten thousand disclaimers coddling the feelings of women who like winged eyeliner

thank you natasha for being the only female representation we had in avengers for such a long time
thank you natasha for showing us we don’t need actual powers to be superheroes
thank you for still being a great character even though the production of the movies always tried to sexualize you and pass the image that you were nothing more, always making you flirt with all the male characters. but we know you’re way more
natasha romanoff was pretty much the first female superhero i ever saw in a movie and this will always mean a lot
now we have carol, we have wanda, we have gamora, we have valkyrie, we have nebula but there was a time we only had natasha romanoff
“Those poor boys”
“She deserves to be punished too.”
“I’m not saying I support rape, but-”
“Sorry to say - she deserved it.”

“She ruined their lives.”
the rest of the internet: NO ENDGAME SPOILERS!!! me, desperately wanting every spoilery detail:
I participated today, but..
Honestly, -it’s a good cause and it’s moving- but silence isn’t doing anything to help us. We are already silenced every day , we don’t need silence to be our “visibilty” .
I want to be loud, say something about how bullying and “micro"aggresions systematically tear us down. Because at the end of the day, teachers will still do nothing about the blatant harassment and slurs being thrown across their classes, and nothing will have changed.
Observe the Silence for those we’ve lost, but do Not let this be the pinnacle of your involvement, support, or visibility.
Best of Brie Larson during Captain Marvel promo.
dudes who accuse films like captain marvel of teaching young girls to hate men have no idea that literally no one and nothing is more effective at making girls hate men than men
