I just had a thought.

In episode five of Good Omens 2 Aziraphale reminds Shax his bookshop is a former outpost of heaven and therefore an embassy which they cannot enter. Shax retaliates by reminding HIM that he‘s an outcast, so technicalities don‘t exactly stand that firmly anymore. And while the demons were not actually able to enter the shop on those grounds, one of the shopkeepers did actually end up getting hurt (regardless of whether he was put back together or not).

I just thought, maybe Aziraphale was so willing to go back to heaven because he thought he‘d give humanity more security this way?

In the end, his decision to go back, to break Crowleys (and his own) heart was solely based on the hope to change things for the better - not for heaven or hell exactly if you ask me - but for humanity. He knew if he‘d run off with Crowley humans would‘ve been at the total mercy of heaven and hell and, let‘s face it, that‘s not the brightest future to have.

So while I absolutely agree he‘s beyond naïve in thinking he could actually change things, it‘s also the only choice he could‘ve realistically made. Because every other would‘ve meant to choose his own happiness over the survival of the world. And that would’ve just very much not been in character for him.

Okay okay so we finally reached the last episode and after she's ranted about how damn annoying Gabi is for like 15 minutes (lmao btw) I told her there were some extra episodes about Levi if she was interested, because she's been talking about him a LOT since Erwin last showed up. Here's the conversation that followed:

her: "Leroy? Ah, no, LEVI? Oh! YES! My favourite!!"

me: "I thought you liked Erwin the most?"

her: "Erwi- is- is he the? The titan boy? The annoying one?"

me: "lmao no that's Eren. I mean the scouts commander...?"

her: "Oh, yeah. He's good. I want the Leroy episode. I like him more. Him and Mikasa."

(and yes, she pronounces Mikasa exactly like the dudes from A Slap on Titan I can't even)

Discovering a fandom long after its original content released somehow feels like discovering an old religion believed to be dead, yet still thriving.

It's like an adventure.

Like when I started getting into Lord of the rings a year ago, or when I finished Merlin mere days ago I was bitter about not discovering them sooner, because I thought I'd missed the fandoms highs and everything left today would be crums of what it used to be, since their last content aired literally almost decades ago.

Yet when I look up fanfiction, fanarts or just the tags on tumblr I find their fandoms to be as alive the day the show finished.

It honestly feels like the closest I'll ever get to discovering a fantastical place like Atlantis or Kong Island or something like that and I think that's beautiful

I have been in love with the Zelda series for YEARS and I've always wanted to draw Link. I'd lost my motivation for drawing for quite a long time but Breath of the Wild was part of the reason why I picked it up again. So, as a tribute to that, have this drawing of Link as my first attempt at grey-scale-colouring! (I'm still figuring that one out so the execution is quite clumsy but I don't care)
