Well. I wouldn't say I'm normally the type to doompost, but...what's the fucking point?

Of course, I'm talking about the one thing on everyone's keyboards this past, like, month. The thing that's had America - plus millions of others - holding bated breaths, shuddering in anticipation.

And it's fucking over. The sentient splotch of Sunny-D won:

- The Senate, 42/52

- The House, 180/198

That wrinkled orange fuck apparently wasn't reviled enough to not see a second (and probably longer) term, but he's not even my big concern.

He got ALL 3 of the House, Senate and Presidency.

You know that little Project we've been trying to warn about, spread awareness of? That one about next year? Yeah, with leads on all 3 there's functionally nothing stopping The Heritage Foundation from pushing all of that through. And you know what is perhaps the most tantamount part of it? The effective LGBTQ+ bans; by labeling us as 'pornographic' which they seek a ban on

And, though I don't believe any are mentioned in the Project itself, that will likely include website and social media bans.

I guess this whole long-winded, "We're so fucked I'm typing in proper case" diatribe is just to say that...I'll miss this place. The gay autism website is no doubt going to be among the first removed.

Of course, I'd love to be proven wrong. I'd love to look back, 2 years from now, and laugh at the thought of fascism truly holding that kind of power. But the person I am now, I couldn't possibly.

And I'll no doubt keep fighting. If this is what takes me, I'll go down fighting, defiant to the end.

since i've had my fun with some other projects (including a little mobile Pokédex i'll put here in time) i've continued work on Mons v. Lions and here's some notable things

Lion Moveset

- Rest, Crunch & Hidden Power

+ Thunder Fang, Extreme Speed & Psychic Fangs

Fixes and Implementations

○ Lions no longer receive STAB on Normal-type moves

○ Lions lost 30 SpDef and gained 10 Speed (they speed tie Garchomp now)

○ Win count implemented - see how many lions a specific Pokémon has KO'd in a test

○ UI shuffled around to increase space for battle log and win count

- Anything with Curse, Coil, Iron Defense & the like boost incredibly quickly: shoutout Dunsparce for having Coil & Roost at Lv50 and Scizor for Iron Defense, Swords Dance and resistances to Normal & Psychic

- Gen 1's Rock/Grounds have done well - only being hit neutral by Psychic Fangs'll do that to ya
