I Find It Poetic That I Can Know Someone Better Than They Know Yourself Just By Reading Their Stories

‘X Men Apocalypse’ Group Therapy Session - MTV After Hours (2016) —> Wandavision (2021)

I suddenly wanted to draw horseman! Peter - something for a story where Apocalypse manipulates a depressed Peter, forcing Erik to desperately fight in order to get his son back. I'd like to see Peter being too afraid of becoming alone again, already responsible for mass destruction and further spiraling down into a darker path prompted by en sabah nur. Esp inspired by this fic by @fouralignments, was really fun to draw.

<Storyline behind the image>:

The storyline I had in mind when I drew this was this: Peter lived an isolated life until the events of Apocalypse, all alone and depressed. He did find Erik but felt betrayed that he started a new family, sad and jealous of Nina, watching the happy family from far away. At some point Peter loathes that he's born a mutant because he can't seem to fit in society or his human family, and blames Erik further. Anyways Apocalypse finds Peter and sees something different and unique in him, decides to recruit him. He gives special treatment and acts possesive and loving to Peter. Peter loves the attention and is finally happy and feels like he's worth something after years of grief. Even if Peter didn't start out as a horseman I thought he would volunteer to do the hard work because some people who grew up unloved can't handle unconditional love- they believe they have to prove that they deserve it.

So Peter feels debted and works for Apocalypse, causes destruction which makes Erik confront Peter to protect his new family. Peter gets furious that Erik came because of his new family and not for Peter, spills the beans and beats up a startled Erik. (Maybe the golden tear marks can emerge at this point)

His mother and sister terrified of him and having nothing left to lay back to, Peter spirals further down into an apathetic darker path and grows closer and closer to Apocalypse. But at some point he finally notices how much blood he covered his hands with and collapses, suddenly hollow and aimless, losing who he is and overwhelmed by what he's done (Which is why in the drawing Peter's arms are covered in blood). He's ashamed, sad, panicking and doesn't know what to do- he hides in a cloak and wanders around.

Meanwhile Erik and Apocalypse is desperate to find Peter first, fighting each other to lead Peter towards the 'right' path they respectively believe.

That's all I thought but to add one more- despite painful and hard, Peter taking agency and making his own path regardless of what his influencers want would be nice to see. Also want to see Peter healing his wounds and taking responsibility of what he's committed.

I excluded Mystery Trio because of course that's everyone's favorite, who am I kidding (leave in the tags if you think I'm wrong on that one), and also leave in the tags which of these you've never heard of.

A dadneto art gift for @fouraligments based on the fic <Hanetz Hachamah>! I considered drawing a scene but decided to try capturing the spirit instead. The historical & cultural premises of the story is great and it's just-tooth rotting sweetness & father-son bonding overload. Truly one of my favorite fanfics.

It was fun making this so I might just start drawing fanarts for fanfics because Mr. Boner doesn't deserve it at the moment. Anyways what I need right now is an angry Jewish magnet man protecting his tiny son.

Things Peter Maximoff Probably Shocks His Team Mates With

• That he has a teaching degree (it’s been ten years since he finished school and his mum made him pick one before she did for him) • That he can play music not just listen to it • That he has a sister, and that she is ten years younger than him • That he is great with kids in general • When Peter’s style keeps changing and getting a little more stylish as well with his hair, they find out Jubilee has been styling him • That he gets along with Charles especially when talking about math or science • They don’t realise just how fast Peter is until it looks like he teleported • Getting the children who have closed themselves off to talk and smile • How he doesn’t have any non-band t-shirts • How much he can eat • How Erik is his father • Just how many goggles he has • How quick he is, but takes a couple years when going to the shops • That he can cook, and cook well • How dedicated he gets on Mother’s Day • How competitive he gets and how bad he is at hiding it • How strong he is, once when Charles wheel chair got stuck in a wedge he just picked up the entire thing without trying. Or the other time where he easily picked up two kids who had been fighting with their mutations • What wasn’t surprising to them, was that he wasn’t fire resistant

Ayo, here’s the follow up to my dadneto fic in which Erik has a breakdown about being a baby daddy and then Charles asks him out and then gay panics, but then it’s all fluffy bevause Erik loves and chooses his silly little mutant family , hope y’all like
