The height difference is so good, and the way Richie's got the broad shoulders and Eddie is pretty slender on the whole, but I LOVE that Richie just mentally exaggerates the size difference between them, like it doesn't occur to him that ANYONE could be more smol than Eddie and he just needs a way to hide the fact that he needs to blurt out how small (read: cute) Eddie is at all times and he ABSOLUTELY gets off on this at least aesthetically if not in a sexy way. My friend sent me a cute clip of Celebrity First Dates Hotel where the show sets up two people... all I could think of is what if Reddie were actors (Richie from SNL naturally) and people adored their interactions from one film they did together.

Imagine if the show put Richie and Eddie on a blind date - both are surprised to see each other but laugh because they had no idea and obviously the date goes really well (and the shows ratings skyrocket obvsly).

Okay but a fumbling, awkward and rambling slightly older (Bill Hader) Richie trying to hit on a slightly older (James Ransone) angry and sarcastic Eddie has my heart.

Imagine Eddie getting annoyed by a biker who keeps revving their loud engine down the street when his mother keeps calling him and checking in on him.

Until one night he has a breakdown and just sits on a bus bench and the biker stops in front of him and Eddie wanted to scream at him until they took off their helmet and it's a curley haired hottie with a great smile asking if he wants a ride home

Reddie made me feel a little more okay turning 30 next year because they were ridiculous and in love and childish towards each other and they were in their 40s.

Imagine Eddie driving Richie home after he got his wisdom teeth out and Richie is delirious from the drugs and has so much to say without any filter

Vampire!Reddie- Eddie is a pedantic kind of vampire. He goes to a hotel bar and this man, Richie, practically falls into his lap without him needing to pull anything. They go up to the room (Eddie insisting on bringing a glass of orange juice into the bedroom), making out, Eddie sits on top of him and bites - expecting the other man to freak out and struggle - but Richie groans "god, you're giving me a huge boner right now."

And Eddie, surprised, after he's done drinking, says "well if you drink all of your orange juice, you can fuck me" - and Richie quickly gulps the juice and get down to business.
