the pitt is crazy from a storytelling perspective because usually you sort of focus on one main plot point and it culminates over an arc so you have the time to have a dramatic chekhov's gun moment but this is one day in the ER so shit just keeps happening and gets resolved and happens again in a disjointed rhythm so instead you get chekhov's gun and chekhov's knife and chekhov's pregnancy test and chekhov's rats and chekhov's fourth set of scrubs and you have no idea when any of them are gonna fire.

gyeong-su died searching in the sea of faces for the man he idolized most.

gyeong-su died with fear in his eyes, not able to process the fact that the man he idolized most abandoned him, leaving him to die.

gyeong-su died trying to get himself back up after being kicked by the man who he idolized most; after being abandoned by people he thought were his friends.
