I totally get this. I do feel a bit bad for those who don’t have the form they’re supposed to. I can relate on some level to them since no one can see my true form, but I don’t wish for my scales or fangs or anything else in the same way those who aren’t physically nonhuman do.
I feel the tiniest bad when I read posts saying that others wish they had tails and ears and fur and fangs- I suppose it is because since I am physically nonhuman, I do, it's just not something that can be seen outwardly by prying eyes- that is besides my fangs which are natural and are able to be seen by the naked eye. I'm just a giant werebat and it's hard to comprehend even for myself I suppose. /lh
idk if this is just me being sensitive, but I'm really tired of people calling me transmasculine when I've made it clear that I'm nonbinary. I feel like people have been using the terms transmasculine and transfeminine against nonbinary people, even if its unintentional. People are finding more "woke" ways of asking "are u a girl nonbinary or a boy nonbinary???" and it's tiring...
just a reminder that your stims don’t have to be small, discreet, or “normal!” no matter how you stim, it’s perfectly alright. you don’t have to water them down for neurotypical approval.
fun fact therians can be physically nonhuman
me: i have alexithymia
person: wow i can’t imagine what that must feel like
me: yeah me neither
Hello, have question regarding changelings. What qualify as one? Have be fae? Am not human, am dragon winter spirit, made look like human and raised by, but know not real parents. Resonate lot with last post, and even other things read about changelings, so made wonder if can be called one, if is "broad term" for nonhuman creatures exchanged/replaced at birth, or if is more specific to species or something similar.
@winter-cub
I don’t think there is an exact definition to changeling. We’re not exactly a species but more of a category of creatures swapped for human young. For me personally the fae aspect is a big part of my changeling identity. However, I don’t see why another creature switched at birth couldn’t be considered a changeling. I think if the stories of changelings really resonate with you, then you could use the word to identify yourself.
how am i supposed to ever get a job (that i actually like) when all my small brain lets me think about are these dumb animatronics??
I wish I could accurately draw what I look like under my veil- the true me. I don't have the creative ability to do so and it makes me sad.
