“Come, sit down and watch the screen so we can officially start the tour!” Hammond says loudly.

‘I’m just so excited to see more baby dinosaurs! It’s been a while and I miss seeing hatchlings…’ I thought starting to drift off into my own head for a bit.

“So are these guys acting in roles? Or is it pre-filmed?” The lawyer says.

‘I’m just gonna-‘ I think before chirping loudly getting attention from everyone as I jump off my seat and go to claw at the door.

“As Lily has shown, yes these are the real deal, but we can meet up with them and Lily after” Hammond states happily.

“One, two, three!” Ian says before I hear the three of them push their restraints off.

“Let’s see the babies!!!” Ellie says excitedly.

I barked softly at a staff personnel after the door opened, this caused half the lab to look at me slightly scared before they realised it was me.

“Oh, Lily! It’s lovely to see you baby!” A woman said happily before picking me up gently.

‘Damn people love to hold me, huh? Eh I just want to see the baby dinosaurs!’ I thought while squirming in the woman’s arms.

“Alright, hand her to me! She’s not supposed to be held in here by anyone besides me” Dr Wu states annoyed at the woman’s antics, before taking me from her.

“Hammond, it’s been a while since you’ve visited with Lily.” Wu states casually.

‘God this is weird, the plots changed slightly, and I’m so confused why people just hold me all the time! I know I’m a dinosaur, but I’m not doing anything!’ I thought confused and wanting to get down.

“There’s some eggs about to hatch, so why don’t we go watch them hatch?” Dr Wu says calmly.

“New babies hatching?!?!??” Lex yells happily.

“Yes” Dr Wu replies.

“Oh my god! Please just let me see the hatchlings before I go insane!” I nearly yell.

“Look, Lily is also excited to meet the new hatchlings” Hammond says to the screech he heard from me.

“Yes, this way to the eggs” Dr Wu says leading everyone while still holding me.

Switch to third POV

We cut to everyone huddled around the incubator table, Wu has left Hammond to hold Lily for a while as they watch a hatchling hatch.

“What species is this?” Alan asks in amazement.

“Well it’s-” Dr Wu starts talking about stuff before Hammond got everyone out on the car tour.

“Dear god it’s starting” we hear Lily mutter as Hammond takes her back to the raptor paddock, before going to the control room to watch the car tour.

If I stop talking to my really good friends for a couple weeks/months it’s not because I forgot they existed, same thing goes for me writing and other stuff, and it’s normal! Even if my brain yells at me for this, it’s fine, I can always talk to my friends and I can always write more, it doesn’t need to be a constant thing but sometimes it is, just know it’s fine to take a break from writing and that it’s okay if you haven’t talked to someone you’re close to in a while as long as you reconnect if you can!

This is to say it can also be good for your mental health to reconnect with both!

‘I know I’m dead… but why am I in a forest..? I hope my mother survived, and I hope she’s okay..’ I thought while looking around.

‘Why do I have a tunic like dress on..? I swear I was wearing something else before I died… is this what happens when you get to heaven..?’ I concluded after looking at my clothes.

‘Why do I suddenly hear yelling..?’ I thought before getting up to follow the yells.

It took what felt like five minutes to get closer… ‘wait, they’re yelling about a beast..?’ I thought before grabbing a decent sized branch and booking it to the one yelling.

I was yelling at the dragon that was trying to take my best friends arm, while trying to kill the beast, before I heard a yell and saw something… amazing.

‘She’s charging at the beast without hesitation…! But, who is this woman…?’ I thought confused before seeing the dragon let go of my friends arm.

“Are you boys okay..? I didn’t really see the thing attacking you, was it a giant bird..? I can help bandage you up if you want.?” The woman asked kindly towards me and my friend…

“Thank you deary, that would be helpful” my friend replied with pain in his voice.

“Ah! Here let me see that, yep! Here this should work for now until we can get you more help!” She said while wrapping a torn piece of her sleeve around his arm.

“Ah! Where are my manners! My name is Gobber, and this is Stoick the Vast, the Chief of Berk!” Gobber told the woman while she helped him up.

“That I am, pleasure to meet you miss..?” I replied getting out of my stupor.

“Oh! I’m Y/n, it’s a pleasure to meet you both as well!” She said with a lilt in her voice.

‘She must be new around here..? I’ve never seen her before in the village, maybe she was shipwrecked..?’ I thought while staring at her for a moment.

Readers POV

‘Holy fuck, what the fuck???!?! Am I in how to train your dragon??!? I thought I was actually dead..!! But I was taken here instead!! Okay I can’t panic…’ I thought while introducing myself to Stoick and Gobber.

“Come on lassie, you’re coming back to the village with us” Gobber says while he starts walking off.

“Well, let’s go, best not to keep Gobber waiting” Stoick says before leading me in the same direction as Gobber’s going.

“Alright, sure..?” I replied following after them both.

“Welcome to Berk Lassie” Gobber says as we all enter the village.

“As the chief I welcome you to the village, now, follow” Stoick says before leading me somewhere.

‘Wait, is he leading me to his hut..? I’m so confused. Wait, shit, am I in trouble..??!?!! I don’t want to be!!!’ I thought starting to panic.

“Come, I want you to meet my wife Valka” Stoick says keeping the door open for me to enter the hut.

“Valka! Can you come here please?” He nearly shouts out.

“Coming! I’ll be down in a moment!” Valka replied from upstairs.

“Yes Stoick..?” Valka says before spotting me.

“This is Y/n, she saved Gobber from a dragon that was attacking him… she’s also new to Berk.” Stoick says while gesturing towards me.

“Hello Mrs Valka, it’s a pleasure to meet you!” I say with a slight bow.

“You saved Gobber from a dragon..? How?” Valka asks confused.

“I heard yelling and grabbed a branch and charged the dragon, Gobber got away with a wound that will at worst scar.” I replied softly.

“Thank you Y/n, Gobber is a dear friend to me and Stoick, so thank you.” Valka replied with a smile.

“Chief, may I have permission to live on Berk please..? Before I helped you and Gobber I was shipwrecked for days… I would like to stay if that’s okay..?” I asked nearly jumbling everything up.

“Welcome to Berk, we’ll have a hut built for you soon if possible” Stoick replies without a fight.

“You can stay here with us until it’s built if you want Y/n? We can get to know each other better while you are!” Valka questions with some happiness on her face.

I smiled at this, “if that’s also okay with Stoick..? I’m more than okay with it either way!” I replied with hope.

“That works…” Stoick says.

“Come! I must show you around the village!” Valka says before dragging me out the door…

“Okay!” I replied happily.

I think scaramouche would hate the creator, and the creator would probably be like “I love you my little meow meow” and scaramouche would just have to endure. Because the creator would probably just wanna get away from the whole god worship thing. Even if it means being around someone who despises them, Especially if the reader doesn’t have their memories of creating teyvat/is just a random Genshin fan from the real world.

I like to imagine an aroace creator, or a creator who just avoids dating because yeah, that’s a weird power imbalance, and the creator just wouldn’t want to deal with that.

I’ve always interpreted the creator as having the power to, well, create. So they’d probably just create a way to access the real world’s internet, much to the confusion of the characters

Oh and the creator would have so much fun just fucking with the archons, especially if they’re pretending to be a human. (Assuming the archons can’t sense the creators godly-ness) like I can imagine the creator walking up to venti, saying something along the lines of “so how’s istaroth?” And venti staring at them like “wtf did you just say?”

And along those lines, I can see the creator walking up to Zhongli, referencing something from so far in teyvat’s past that he’s the only one who remembers. And Zhongli would start talking realize “wait why does this random mortal know that?”

Oh, and the creator and nahida would be such great friends. The god of wisdom who was locked up for 500 years, and is now learning about the world, and the random god who appeared with knowledge about some obscure facts about the world, but nothing about the day-to-day life of those living in teyvat? They can bond over their shared lack of knowledge about how the world works!

Another thing that’d be really funny is the creator just saying random ass memes, and have their followers try to figure out what the fuck they’re talking about.

Also, the creator would just say shit from the real world with no explanation, like, I can imagine them yelling “JESUS CHRIST” when something scares them. And the people of teyvat just have to accept that the creator just isn’t gonna explain shit. Because how do they explain the religion of another world? Why would the most powerful god in teyvat worship another god?

So, like, the house I live in is a house with a ghost, it just likes to open the door to the back room, and let the cats into the kitchen while I’m cooking or I just sat down…

The ghost is an actual entity and the cats love the ghost so umm… yeah this house is haunted.

So the idea is: y/n, Aether and Paimon get dropped off with Thoma and end up being granted access to the first island before going on in the quests there, thing is when you finally find and confront Ei on the next, she has a figurine in her hand that’s painted, “oh fuck!” You say before cowardly hiding behind Aether in the kimono that Thoma bought you, Ei looks at you then panics before bowing after recognising you… “what brings you here all knowing one? And why are you against me..?” She says stopping her bow, everyone there turns to look at you surprised, “Shogun it’s been 200 years… don’t call me that anymore!!” You say quicker than you would have liked, “that doesn’t explain why you’re here and with the enemy of eternity…!” She replied starting to show a cold fury… “Shogun! If I was able to let something like this slide I wouldn’t! You cannot continue the vision hunt decree! Don’t you know the suffering it is causing!?!?!?!!” You say starting to get pissed off, you were fed up with the vision hunt now more then when you played through it in the game… “I challenge you to a duel! When I win you stop this madness and open the boarders of your nation again!” You say going towards her, the traveler tries to stop you with Paimons help but you shrug him off, “so be it..!!” She says getting out her katana, you end up grabbing a katana as well, you two circle each other before you go in, then it all ended with Ei on the ground blacked out, you barely hit her and this was the result… you grabbed out a fan after putting the katana back, everyone stared at you in complete shock, “Wahhh!!!” Paimon exclaimed in astonishment, “y-y/n?!?!?! Wha-how did you do that so easily! You made it seem like nothing!” Traveler said still overwhelmed and shocked by the situation, “ah… guess I wasn’t holding back enough? Oops!” You say before giggling nervously behind your fan.

When Ei woke up she felt as if she were a dead walking incarnate, to say she felt bad was an understatement, “as to the terms of the Duel Ei.. I have won therefore until I inevitably die or until your region falls under a new ruler, you will cease the vision hunt decree and open your borders to allow more people from overseas access to your nation and to allow your people to leave your region. Correct?” You state as formally as possible, she nods in understanding, “Alright who wants me to make some desserts? I have some I haven’t had in quite a while so I thought this is the perfect occasion don’t you think?” You say cheerfully, everyone there nods in excitement…

That’s how you ended the trouble in Ei’s nation and also ended up accidentally making everyone have a dessert coma while having left over desserts…

Let’s just say Venti got to try all the desserts while you gave Xiao 20 plates worth of almond tofu lol.
