Honestly, I find the drama surrounding those two bizzare and the people who are so indignant over it as if MHY had nothing better to do than to personally spite them rather entitled.

I personally dig those two designs. They're hilarious and exactly what I would imagine for those two adepti who hardly ever visit the human realm. (*cough* I also ship them now *cough*)

There's also been no official confirmation whatsoever that those two will ever be playable. And even if they are in the future, their designs can still be adapted to look less NPCy. They're adepti after all.

Seriously, some parts of the fandom really complain about every single thing. They'll never be happy with anything.

‘I need to go see Gothi, I wonder why I haven’t been feeling well lately..?’ I thought while heading to Gothi’s.

“Gothi, I have come to ask you to check me over” I said.

;Yes, what can I help you with dearie; she wrote.

“I haven’t been feeling well lately for some reason, and I was worried” I said as she started checking on me.

;Dearie, I’ll do some tests to see what I can find; she replied.

“Thank you Gothi” I said with a smile.

Readers POV

‘Is it that close to snoggletog already..? I swear the dragons haven’t been here for over 3 weeks…! But the Berkiens aren’t getting ready for it..? And it’s summer, I’m so confused’ I thought while trying to bake cookies.

“Y/n! I need to tell you something!” Valka says charging into the kitchen suddenly.

“Woah! Take a chill pill Valka, what did you want to tell me..?” I replied.

“You still need to explain what that means, but anyways, Y/n I’m so happy!” She says smiling ear to ear.

“Oh! What’s making you so happy!?” I asked curiously.

“I’m with child! I just got back from Gothi’s” she replied while hugging me tightly.

“Oh my gods!!! I’m so happy! We need to tell Stoick!!!” I said hugging her back.

“We can tell Stoick at dinner tonight!” She replied happily.

“Ah! Okay! I’ll make a nice dinner tonight then!” I said agreeing with her.

“What are you making? It looks so good” Valka said suddenly with starry eyes.

“I’m making cookies, you can have some from this first batch! The type I’m making is oatmeal raisin!” I replied happily.

“What is a raisin?” She asked confused.

“It’s a dried grape, they’re good by themself and in different foods!” I explained simply.

“Ah! Yes, can I have some please?” She asked curiously.

“Here, have a small handful to try!” I replied handing her some.

“These are good! Can I please have some of the cookies when they’re ready?” She asked after trying the raisins.

“Of course! The first batch will be ready in a minute, so don’t worry it won’t be long!” I replied.

Time skip

“Stoick, I need to tell you something” Valka stated while we were eating dinner.

“What is it dear?” He asked before shooting me a confused look.

“I’m with child!” She said happily.

Instead of him saying anything in response, he picked up Valka and spun her around before hugging her and pulling me into the hug as well.

“Thank you…” he said finally with tears in his eyes.

‘I swear I will do anything for these two…’ I thought.

So I’ve just today remembered that periods exist, and since mine is decently irregular I was thinking about y/n’s first period since being in Teyvat… well this is the prompt lol.

Y/n waking up both Zhongli and the boyfriends as well as Traveler and Paimon with a shrill scream…

Everyone rushing into her room to see a lot of blood on her bed…

Everyone fucking panics while Zhongli just stands in the doorway like ‘wtf this shouldn’t have this reaction it’s normal for women’

Zhongli: y/n why’re you panicking… you’re on your period- I thought this was normal for human women-

Xiao, Venti and Paimon: what?!?!?? This doesn’t seem normal!

Aether now sitting on the floor: oh yeah I forgot, sorry it’s been a while since I’ve had to deal with a girl on their period…

Y/n starting to cry from the faint cramps: I forgot that this could happen okay!!! It’s been fucking 500+ years! I haven’t had my period since isekaing into this damn world!!!

Everyone besides y/n: you know what we’re not going to question that right now…

Zhongli: I’ll get Ajax and go buy you some stuff- you four stay and comfort her-

Aether: me and Paimon have to head back to Inuzuma and finish up with the anti-raider shogun training, so those two will be with y/n…

Paimon: oh yeah! Paimon forgot about that!

Xiao: what do we do-

Y/n: I’m going to go clean myself and hopefully find something to dull the pain and something akin to a pad to aid me until Ajax and Zhongli are back-

Zhongli: good idea, I’ll try to be quick.

Venti: I still don’t know what’s happening but I feel like I should.

Xiao: I don’t know what’s happening either!!

Y/n: don’t worry… I’m fine but could you both get me pain medication from bubu pharmacy?

Xiao and Venti: sure!

And so everyone left y/n in the house to get situated…

‘I’m so embarrassed!! I wonder if I could just snap my fingers and my bed/sheets will be clean…’ y/n thought, and so she tried and it didn’t work properly, she should of taken the sheets off first is all I’m saying…

Yeah she just ended up bathing and by the time she was done Zhongli, Ajax and the boyfriends were back with the stuff you needed thankfully…

I think scaramouche would hate the creator, and the creator would probably be like “I love you my little meow meow” and scaramouche would just have to endure. Because the creator would probably just wanna get away from the whole god worship thing. Even if it means being around someone who despises them, Especially if the reader doesn’t have their memories of creating teyvat/is just a random Genshin fan from the real world.

I like to imagine an aroace creator, or a creator who just avoids dating because yeah, that’s a weird power imbalance, and the creator just wouldn’t want to deal with that.

I’ve always interpreted the creator as having the power to, well, create. So they’d probably just create a way to access the real world’s internet, much to the confusion of the characters

Oh and the creator would have so much fun just fucking with the archons, especially if they’re pretending to be a human. (Assuming the archons can’t sense the creators godly-ness) like I can imagine the creator walking up to venti, saying something along the lines of “so how’s istaroth?” And venti staring at them like “wtf did you just say?”

And along those lines, I can see the creator walking up to Zhongli, referencing something from so far in teyvat’s past that he’s the only one who remembers. And Zhongli would start talking realize “wait why does this random mortal know that?”

Oh, and the creator and nahida would be such great friends. The god of wisdom who was locked up for 500 years, and is now learning about the world, and the random god who appeared with knowledge about some obscure facts about the world, but nothing about the day-to-day life of those living in teyvat? They can bond over their shared lack of knowledge about how the world works!

Another thing that’d be really funny is the creator just saying random ass memes, and have their followers try to figure out what the fuck they’re talking about.

For example

In Fontaine

“French people are real?”

Furina: “what the fuck is French”

Also, the creator would just say shit from the real world with no explanation, like, I can imagine them yelling “JESUS CHRIST” when something scares them. And the people of teyvat just have to accept that the creator just isn’t gonna explain shit. Because how do they explain the religion of another world? Why would the most powerful god in teyvat worship another god?

If I stop talking to my really good friends for a couple weeks/months it’s not because I forgot they existed, same thing goes for me writing and other stuff, and it’s normal! Even if my brain yells at me for this, it’s fine, I can always talk to my friends and I can always write more, it doesn’t need to be a constant thing but sometimes it is, just know it’s fine to take a break from writing and that it’s okay if you haven’t talked to someone you’re close to in a while as long as you reconnect if you can!

This is to say it can also be good for your mental health to reconnect with both!

Qualms and ferocity

Chapter 2, meeting the rest of the pack and settling in.

Third POV

It only took 2 or 3 minutes for the raptors to take Lily to the remainder of the pack…

Lily’s POV

We reached the rest of the pack.

“Awww! Who’s this adorable little thing??” A female raptor said.

“Where did the young one come from? Was it the humans again?” A male raptor said this time.

“A child??” A second unknown female raptor asked with wonder.

I was put down and pushed towards the three new raptors, Kat looked at me expectingly.

“Hi! My name is Lily” I said.

“She was brought in by the humans, she’s going to be staying with the pack from now on.” The Alpha stated calmly.

“Introduce yourselves to our new pack mate please” Kat said while motioning towards the three while Quin and Titus watched from the side.

“Welcome to the pack Lily, my name is Boa” the first female raptor- Boa said with a toothy grin.

“Hi darling! My name’s Vera” the second female raptor- Vera stated in a soft voice.

“My names Goose, it’s nice to meet you Lily, welcome to the pack” the male raptor- Goose said.

“It’s nice to meet you all as well!” I stated hiding my confusion and concern.

“Why did the humans bring you here now? Did they take you away from your original pack or were you hatched with the humans?” Boa asked curiously.

“I was hatched with the human’s” I replied.

“No wonder, so you wouldn’t have a pack until now….” Boa said in response.

“I wasn’t kept in a cage or anything if you were concerned about that” I said trying to make her feel less bad.

this in turn made all the raptors to completely turn all their attention to me.

“You told some of us that you hatched 3 to 4 years ago, so how have you been with the humans so long? Especially without being caged…” Alpha asked.

“Wait what?! But aren’t you barely big enough to be above hatchling age??” Vera stated.

“I was the first dinosaur that the humans ever made… something went wrong and I was just kept around, I know that it’s because I wasn’t aggressive to them and that’s why I was allowed around them… and also why I was never caged, because I was always allowed out and anywhere I wanted to go I could” I said trying to explain without disclosing to much information.

The 7 raptors that are staring at me all gave me nods in understanding.

“Humans are scared of us, so I don’t know why you aren’t aggressive, but at least you weren’t kept in a cage or anything” Boa said hesitantly.

“Do you have a favourite type of prey?” Kat asked me, trying to change the subject.

“Yes! My favourite prey is fish!” I replied.

“I don’t think I tried fish before getting put here” Kat said, the others nodded as to say that they hadn’t either.

“Well-” I started telling them the different types of fish and which were my favourites before we heard something… mechanical..!?
