M&S at the Rio Olympics - Shadow & Silver Team Animation Requested by anonymous
Sure the real winners were the TinaxJimmy Jr. shippers for this episode but let me just say I'm satisfied with all the chatting Tina and Zeke did this episode. It's so nice to have them just talk as actual friends. Not just Tina tolerating Zeke for the sake of Jimmy Jr. but actually friendly chatting and mutual concern for their other friend. I don't see enough of that in the show. Also Tina and Zeke just casually considering tackling a guy for Jimmy Jr. is hilarious and that's the kind of chaotic energy I hope for in this pair. XD
Honestly, it really depends. Of course, as an artist, I understand people have lives outside their art and the internet. Not to mention others' commissions to worry about while doing mine. On the other hand, if I paid them before they finished, I would be nervous if they took weeks/months to even get started. The people I commissioned usually were super fast and finished sooner than expected so I haven't had a long waiting experience yet. I think I only ever waited super long or never got a certain thing when I asked for requests or made suggestions. That's definitely when I'm more lenient with wait time because I'm not even paying them. Yeah, it's sucks to see an old request fade into obscurity but at least I didn't lose money over it.
The key to a long waiting period between an artist/customer relationship is communication. I'm more likely to wait longer without too much badgering if the artist is transparent about the likely waiting period. They don't owe you their life story, but it's nice to have an estimate so you don't spend all your time wondering. I think showing the progress with a watermark ( a pattern of watermarks if you want to be safe XD) during the waiting period could help to ease the customer's mind too. It might even help the customer catch something that can be changed easily in the early stage. I think I probably would pick a week but I honestly would be willing to wait longer if the artist gives a rough estimate on likely when things will be done. They don't need to explain why but it would make me feel good the artist isn't leaving me in the dark. Though the artists I commissioned I don't remember ever making me wait longer than a week (unless I count plushie commissions which are a completely different beast to digital art). TLDR Customers be patient with artists because they are only human. Artists and customers, respectfully communicate with each other during the process so no one is anxious or feeling duped for one reason or another.
I've been wondering about this for a while, but when you commission an artist, how long would you want your piece to be done? Blink once if a day, blink twice if two days, blin-
Just kidding, I made a poll :D
17. detailed research about the perfect gift + also Zekina please because I'm greedy when it comes to this ship! LOL XD
zekina + detailed research about the perfect gift đ
âHey, Mrs. B?â Zeke asks, swinging off his backpack and letting it drop it to the floor. âCan I ask ya something?â
Linda smiles, still scrubbing the restaurant counter with an old dishrag.
âAww! Of course, sweetie! Is this about my teeny Tina?â
Her smile falls briefly, eyes nearly bulging out of her head.
âWait, this isnât proposal talk is it? You know I love you two together, but seventeen is just too young! I always thought youâd propose after college. On a boat, maybe, orâooh! On horseback? That would be nice!â
Zeke chuckles. Though a proposal isnât on his agenda just yet, itâs nice to know that heâll have Lindaâs blessing when that time comes. He thinks about marriage a lot, actually. More than most teenage boyfriends do. When he has a bad day, he envisions the way Tina will smile when he finally pops the question. Sometimes, when he kisses her, heâs secretly imagining that theyâre at the alter.
âNah, itâs nothing that serious.â He assures his girlfriendâs mom. âNot yet, anyway. Iâm actually in the market forâŚwell. Do you think Tinaâd like a promise ring?â
Zekeâs eyes fall to the counter, as he finishes his sentence. He doesnât want to see Lindaâs face if it turns sour. Luckily, excitement in her voice prompts him to raise his head again.
âA promise ring?â She asks, one hand flying over her heart. âHow romantic! What a little gentleman you are.â
Zeke feels a brief flash of heat in his face. Something about earning approval from adults always makes him bashful, and knowing that Linda likes him feels like a gigantic win.
âOh, I dunno about that. JustâŚwith Christmas cominâ up and all. I thought you might like to see the one I picked out, if thatâs alright with you.â
Restaurant chores forgotten, Linda props her chin in her hands as she leans forward.
âItâs more than alright!â She says. âLetâs see what youâve got, hon.â
Zekeâs a little nervous, as he pulls up his camera roll. Heâs put a lot of thought into Tinaâs Christmas gift, but itâs not like he has the kind of money to get her a really nice ring. Even all the saving heâs been doing has left him with a slightly underwhelming ring selection.
âHereâs the one I found.â Zeke says, zooming in on the picture to give Linda a better look. âI thought the blue might make her eyes pop.â
He has to actively refrain from gushing. Something about the color blue makes Tinaâs dark eyes shine, and that girlâs eyes are enough to make a man go weak in the knees. Heâs probably biased, though. To him, everything about Tina is uniquely beautiful.
âWow!â Linda says, examining the small blue stone in the center of the ring. âWhat a beaut! You picked that out yourself, huh?â
Zekeâs eyebrows knit together, a little confused by the question. Did I pick it out myself? Heâs been pouring over ring catalogues for weeks, searching for the perfect fit for his girlfriend. Heâs already consulted with Gene, a self proclaimed expert on bling, and heâs learned more about ring sizes in the last month than he ever planned on learning in a lifetime.
âCourse I did!â He says, taken aback. âI knew I wanted this to be perfect. TinaâsâŚwell hell, you raised her! You know how special she is.â
Any shyness from before is gone, as Linda looks between he and the ring. He thinks the world of her daughter, and thatâs not something that embarrasses him. It feels natural. He watches as a small, touched smile appears on Lindaâs face.
âTinaâs gonna love it, sweetie.â She says softly. âSheâll think itâs absolutely perfect.â
Pulling the phone back with a grin on his face, Zeke admires the photo for himself. Thereâs still two weeks left until Christmas, and heâs going to spend each of those days daydreaming about seeing his ring on Tinaâs finger.
âThanks, Mrs. B.â He says, his girlâs pretty smile on his mind. âI sure hope youâre right.â
It works too! tried it myself
I asked for bobs burgers prompts lol.. heres number 1

@mambocat I donât know if youâll care about my opinion or not but here it goes. When I was younger I used to not like the idea of Sonic with humans. Mostly because of my exposure to the story of Sonic X. I hated Chris like the majority of the fandom. I guess when I finally was able to play the adventure games I associated the humans with Chris and not like them automatically. As I got older I started to realize, âWait, Dr. Eggman is a human so why shouldn't there be others?â Iâm fine with humans being with Sonic now because thatâs how it always was intended. We just donât see humans as much in other games because humans have their own countries while Mobians have theirâs. I like to think the Sonic and human relationship is like the humans and Crystal gems on Steven Universe. They know he exists but they donât bother asking questions except for a select few. Itâs been awhile since I played a Sonic game with humans so i donât know how much my headcanon holds.
So Sonic shouldnât be getting any crap from people just because heâs different. Thatâs what it all comes down to.
So I need to just take a moment to poop on everyoneâs partyâŚI just watched the trailer for âSuper Mario Odyssey,â and while it does indeed look very interesting, I canât help but feel salty over the double standard being utilized here.
So the trailer starts with what appears to be New York or some other large REAL WORLD city, with actual humans - as in realistic ones - walking around minding their own business, and then SUDDENLY here comes Mario with his signature whoo hoo to turn everything into fodder for his cartoon physics.
Now that in and of itself is not a bad thing, no problem with the premise itself. My issue isâŚfairly simple to understand and may even come off as petty but Iâll risk it regardless.
If everyone is excited about Mario being in the real worldâŚ
WHY IN GODâS NAME WAS IT CONSIDERED A HORRIBLE IDEA FOR SONIC AND STILL IS TO THIS DAY?!
As soon as Mario does it, all that talk about âoh Sonic is a cartoon hedgehog and he doesnât belong in a realistic universeâ goes out the window. You canât praise Mario for doing it and then say Sonic doesnât belong when theyâre both video game characters who are clearly âout of placeâ in the world theyâre in.
The only difference I can foresee happening here is that Mario wonât have much of a âstoryâ as usual despite the name âodysseyâ and Mario of course wonât talk.
And if that does turn out to be the key difference, then Sonic being in the real world was never the problem as so many people claim. The issue was the story itself. How dare someone take a silent protagonist and try to give him a personality?
SEGA tried everything to âbackpedalâ from the hyper realistic art style, making the humans more cartoony as opposed to actually looking like real life humans. But it didnât matter, Sonic was still in the ârealâ world and thus it was bad.
Only when humans (sans Eggman) were cut out altogether were so-called fans happy with the world Sonic lived in again. Where all the humans? Who cares, Sonic shouldnât be with humans anyway.
But apparently this is okay, because itâs Mario instead of Sonic. Real humans? Yeah thatâs okay! Itâs about time Mario ventured past the Mushroom Kingdom a little bit!
I call BS, hard.
Since Mario did what he did, then I donât wanna hear one godforsaken complaint from ANYONE if Project 2017 decides to go back to using human background characters.
Iâve gotten into debates with gamer friends of mine who say that Sonic in the real world (Earth) actively angers them. I should ask them how they feel about Mario and see if they expose their own hypocrisy.
Iâm sorry if this angers anyone who thinks Iâm complaining too early, but again, itâs not what Mario did that bothers me, itâs that people will inevitably complain if/when Sonic decides to do the EXACT SAME THING while Mario gets praise for it.
Thatâs why I say I donât wanna see anyone get angry with Sonic in the real worldâŚbut we all know they will. Because itâs Sonic.
Poor guy, heâs doomed to be hated for all of eternity.
pedophiles / âmapâs (mostly on twitter) have started using the pear emoji (đ) to discreetly signal to other pedos that theyre one of them. here are some people who are open pedophiles using this signal:
however, most people using the pear are actually trying to be discreet, and wonât outright say theyâre a pedo. if you see someone with a pear emoji in their name or bio, be wary.
please rb to spread the word if you can.
âThis is your daily, friendly reminder to use commas instead of periods during the dialogue of your story,â she said with a smile.
