Firstly, my asks are always open and you can search through my blog. The #information tag is full of info. My number one recommendation is to go on the r/DemonolatryPractices subreddit search bar and type key words for any questions you may have:

I made a post with a list of communities you can join. Each community has its own resources you may find helpful:

Communities
Tumblr
In my experience, solitary practice can feel isolating, not having anyone to share your experiences with or compare gnosis. This is why I’ve

TikTok is full of a lot of misinformation surrounding demonolatry, but my personal favorite account on the subject is MadameFortune. I don’t agree with all of her gnosis, but she’s got some fantastic information and cites her sources. Her Geography of Hell series is my favorite: Edit: Apparently she scammed people so DO NOT send her money

tiktok.com
TikTok - Make Your Day

Dancing Corpse Witch is a blog that I like. It has good information and experiences that line up with what I’ve experienced:

Dancing Corpse Witch
Dancing Corpse Witch
Dancing Corpse Witch

They also have an Instagram where they post channeled messages from the infernal divine on their stories:

As for informative blogs here on Tumblr, these are my top three picks:

@astra-ravana

@thrashkink-coven

@siren-sovereign

Texts

These are just what I’ve read so far. I know there’s much more out there. I’ll get to them… eventually Edit: I would like to add Apotheosis and Bible of the Adversary both by Michael W. Ford, but it appears Tumblr won’t let me add more links here

I Am Happy To Present My Own Wamily’s version Of Finding Your Signifier Card Using A Tarot Deck.  (Wamily,

I am happy to present my own Wamily’s version of finding your signifier card using a Tarot deck.  (Wamily, just in case you don’t know, is a witch family.)

Please keep in mind that this is a practice passed down and developed by a handful of witches related to me, and isn’t the process that every cartomancer uses.  I hope this helps you on your witchcraft journey!

My own signifier card was found when I was a wee little witch.  I chose the Chariot (which, if you know me personally, is Salt through and through.)  My strengths and limitations are very much found in this card and I am drawn to its imagery indefinitely.

Comment with your signifier card once you find it!  I am excited to see what you receive.

hi! since i've really leaned into witchcraft and spirituality, i became much more appreciative of the earth and i've been talking to her lots but i want to also become more sustainable in my daily life to help the environment even in small ways. do you have any ideas for simple things to do or habits to change to be more sustainable?

I do indeed!!

I think some the best things you can do for sustainable living is develop sustainable skills:

Learning to sew allows you to:

- fix holes in clothes

- adjust the height/seams/etc of clothes

- crop or add to items of clothing

Which means that clothes have a longer lifespan in general!

Learning to garden (even if its windowsill gardening!) helps you:

- spend less on certain herbs or plants (an easy way to start is regrowing spring onions in water)

- grow more native plants in your area

- encourage more insects into your garden

Learning to cook and bake can actually be super helpful because:

- you don't rely on takeaways or ready meals as often

- you can have more control over where your food is sourced and what you're eating

- you can meal plan and prep which saves time and money

- you can learn how to make your own jams, pickles, syrups etc! And you can get pretty creative with it!

Learning simple diy skills is super beneficial as you can:

- make things unqiue and suited to yourself (I.e. perfect sized shelves or a cabinet that fits perfectly in that gap between your bed and wall)

- restore thrifted furniture (staining to a preferred colour, cutting off legs to shorten it, fix the wobbly door etc)

- recycle old furniture, cabinets or similiar unused items into something else (I've turned a old cabinet into a small outdoor storage unit) rather than throwing them away

Learning basic maintenance for things you own is a money saver and:

- means you can fix your bike chain or replace your car's oil and filter without needing to call anyone or spend extra money

- can keep you safe and at a lower risk of motor accident (knowing how to do basic maintenance checks can help you see warning signs for damage)

- means that simpler things like clogged drains, non-flushing toilets, leaky taps etc no longer require calling and paying for a plumber

Of course you don't need to be an expert in any of these, I'm certainly not! But I can cook myself a decent meal, sew some new buttons on an old shirt or fix a hole in my jeans and restore an old wardrobe into something usable.

I love Pete Seeger's quote:

"If it can’t be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, refinished, resold, recycled or composted, then it should be restricted, redesigned or removed from production."

Basically it's so important to be aware of your consumption - avoid overconsumption, buy quality over quantity, thrift and reuse things, trade with people. Throwing things away should be a last resort or a necessity, rather than a "I don't know what else to do with it".

And, while recycling isn't quite the saviour people think it is, it is so important to get into the habit of sorting your rubbish correctly!!

Other important sustainable habits include:

Changing your eating habits. If it's feasible for you, try:

- reduce meat and dairy consumption (including fish, as they're massively overharvested)

- prioritise locally and ethically sourced animal produce (local butchers can be a great place to start for this)

- eat more seasonally (its not really feasible to only eat seasonal foods, but try to learn about them and incorporate them more)

- reduce food waste with composting, food donations, meal planning/prepping and learn to love leftovers

- invest in a tap filter and reusable water bottle (drinking tap water is not always safe depending on where you live so research first!!!)

- use public transport (or walk) where possible!

- connect with other people near you who also care about sustainable living: trade services and items and knowledge!

- learn about your local area and ecology!! I sound like a broken record saying this, but the BEST way to start living with nature, is to understand it. You can't help your local wildlife if you don't know it, you can't take steps to protect your environment if you don't know the threats.

All of these are just a few tips and ideas, they may not be feasible for everyone for numerous reasons but it's important to remember that it's not about being perfect, it's about *trying* and doing what you can.

There's so much more I could get into here, from foraging to activism to how and what to thrift vs when to splurge on new items but I think this post is long enough! Let me know if there's anything you want expanding or going into more depth on!!!

Hand Crafting Ideas for Offerings/Devotional Acts

I wanted to make a list of ideas for those who don't feel like drawing or painting, but still wanted to create on behalf of their Gods!

•Make fake flowers for them out of paper/tissue paper

•Cross stitch/Embroider them something they're associated with. Im embroidering a teapot for Hestia!

•Needle felt their sacred animal

•Devotional Jewlery Making (necklaces, bracelets, earings, prayer beads, ect.)

•Sculpt clay figures of your Gods/animals

•Make a polymer clay keychain/coin that reminds you of them so you can have them with you everywhere you go

•Making little trinkets/offering plates/dishes out of resin

•Wood carve their sacred animal

•Woodburn an offering plate or a pendulum board. You could also woodburn a box to keep their offerings in

•Make candles/wax melts for your Gods with scents curated to them!

•Make incense cones! They're surprisingly easy!

•Make bath bombs to take a devotional bath

•Make a specific soap to wash before prayer

•Make a diorama for their altar. I use foam/cardboard/and plastic trash for dioramas!

•Crochet/Knit an altar cloth! For more advanced, make a stuffed animal, veil, or devotional clothing

•Printing pictures/find magazines and make a physical collage of your God/their symbols/things you associate with them

•Build a mini temple for you Gods out of popsicle sticks or legos

•Take pictures of things you associate with, whether it be part of nature, animals, cozy places in your home, bodies of water, sunsets, ect.

•Start a little scrapbook of your deities

I was super inspired to make this because of the ask @khaire-traveler received the other day where they suggested origami for Apollo!

When it comes to kitchen magic (or really witchcraft in general), people get too hung up in correspondences, esp when first starting out. And I think focusing too heavily on correspondences is what ends up making people feel like they cant advance their craft.

In my opinion part of it is "you need to make your own correspondences". Sure some rosemary in a stew might work for healing or purification, but do you also associate the herb that way? I think of my beautiful rosemary bushes over the years, tying and drying their branches, the beautiful scent, previous spells I have done. It feels me with a certain feeling of safety that I can then channel into my work.

When it comes to cooking, I feel like it's a lot of energy work. All spell work incorporates our energies in some way, I especially feel it with cooking. Your hands and cooking tools are vessels to transfer your energy. You transfer your energy when you knead bread, cut veggies, wash the rice, stir the soup, you get the idea. Yes you can focus on a specific mantra, but the point is you don't always have to do that. You using your energy to change ingredients into something new, something nourishing for the body, is magic in and of itself.

I also use my energy to charm my tools instead of individual meals/drinks. A special tea cup charmed with a spell to bring me relaxation doesn't need me to do a small spell or mantra every time I make a cup of tea (because I would forget to do that anyways). Instead it holds the calming energies I have already given it until I feel it needs to be charged again. A favorite soup stirring spoon is going to spread my love to every meal I make using it just because it has picked up my own energy throughout its use.

I think just accepting the magic of the everyday and of your energy is esp important for those of us who feel like we have less spoons. Me cooking uses enough of my precious energy, but it's something I do out of love and because I enjoy it. That's where the real magic is.

Y’all Asked For It So Y’all Gonna Get It! I’mma Start Off With The Barebones Essentials And Work

Y’all asked for it so y’all gonna get it! I’mma start off with the barebones essentials and work my way to basic definitions. Sit down on something comfy and get yourself your warm beverage of choice and maybe grab a notebook because here goes.

What are runes?

Runic alphabets have been around since about 150 AD and used as a writing system by a lot of Germanic languages. These systems were eventually phased out, slowly but surely, with the progressive Christianisation that started around 700-1100 AD. The three most commonly known (and used?) Are the Elder Futhark, the Younger Futhark and Futhorc.

Runes aren’t, themselves, broadly meant for divination, thought there are a few passages in the Eddas that mention Odin “finding” and using them.

demonolatry intro

Step One: Get Your Reading Straight

If you want to take this seriously, you must get your hands on some solid books. Not just the surface level crap that everyone regurgitates, but actual texts that present demons as what they are: ancient divine spirits, not edgy, misunderstood villains. Two books you NEED:

The Goetia Devils by Rev. Cain – Forget the old grimoires that call demons “liars” and “deceivers.” This book gives you real insight into their nature their personalities likes and interest and background It’s absolutely required reading. The Goetia Hymns by Rev. Cain – You want to actually call upon demons? Use these. 200 prayers and hymns for everything to all 72 goetic demons it is one of a kind

If you can’t get them, I wouldn’t mind sending info from them because this knowledge deserves to be shared with those who are serious about it. But do not just rely on basic "Google" tier knowledge.

Step Two: Stop Thinking Like a Christian

One of the biggest things that screws people up when they get into demonolatry is that they still carry Christian baggage. I dont mean that in the laveyan way of erm no war happened rather they didnt lose anything they fought and secured freedom, hell is not a prison yahweh and his slaves have no power over hell

Demons are not waiting around for "redemption," they already found salvation they are smart noble beings with their own wants and needs likes and dislikes they are not playing the game of Yahweh’s petty universe. They are the opposition, the divine rebels, the rulers of the Infernal Empire that will ensure hells ultimate victory You are not "selling your soul" (seriously, kill that thought), you are joining a side and that side is about power, knowledge, and liberation from the shackles of the false god.

Step Three: Pick a Few Demons to Start With

You do not need to call all 72 Goetic spirits at once like some overexcited fool. Work with a few to start, and get to know them personally. I can recommend good beginner demons

Step Four: Create a Sacred Space

No, you don’t need a massive ritual room, but at least set up something to dedicate to your work. Even if it’s a small altar in a private place, it helps to create a focal point for your devotion and rituals.

What you can include: A black or dark cloth (symbol of the unknown, the abyss, the infernal realm). Candles (color depends on the demon you are working with). Sigils (drawn or printed out, charged with your intent). Incense (sandalwood, myrrh, or frankincense work well). Offerings (wine, blood, poetry, personal dedication).

And before someone asks no, blood offerings are NOT required, but they are powerful .If you’re not ready for that, stick with incense and dedication first.

Step Five: Start With Meditation, Not Begging

This is where most people fuck up they start demanding favors from demons before even knowing what they’re doing. No. Stop.

Start simple: Sit in front of a sigil. Focus on it until it "moves" or shifts.

Chant the demon’s enn quietly. See what sensations arise.

Write down thoughts, visions, or dreams you experience.

Most people expect some loud, booming voice or shadow figure in their room. No. Demons communicate through impressions, emotions, synchronicities, and deep intuitive knowledge. If you’re not developing those senses, you’ll miss 90% of what they are trying to show you.

Step Six: First Invocation

Once you feel a connection, you can start formal invocations. The best approach is a polite, but firm invitation NOT "commanding" like some delusional Christian grimoires suggest.

Light your candles, incense, and set up your altar space. Draw or place the sigil of the demon. Chant their enn while focusing on their sigil. State your intention clearly and respectfully. Be patient and observe. Demons may communicate through thoughts, emotions, or later dreams and signs. Close the ritual properly. Thank the demon, extinguish candles, and ground yourself.

Step Seven: Keep a Grimoire

If you aren’t writing things down, you’re wasting your time. Period.

Log your meditations. Write down any dreams, symbols, or feelings. Keep track of what works and what doesn’t. Note what offerings and rituals seem to get the strongest results.

Demonolatry is a living practice, not a fixed set of rules. The more you explore, the deeper your understanding will be.

Final Notes: What NOT to Do

🚫 DO NOT command demons. You are here to learn, not to act like some arrogant king. 🚫 DO NOT expect quick results. Demons test your patience, intelligence, and dedication before revealing deeper wisdom. 🚫 DO NOT treat this like a trend. If you’re just here for aesthetics, they will ignore you at best, punish you at worst.

Demonolatry is a lifelong path of study, experience, and revelation. If you’re serious, then welcome aboard. But if you’re just looking for some quick magic trick or spooky aesthetic, you might as well quit now.
