Why, you may ask? I just personally didn't like the whole plot twist in the show with Vaggie being an angel and Charlie not knowing it. Since the pilot era, the whole theory that Vaggie is a former exorcist seemed far-fetched to me ('cause the evidence was mostly based on the fact that Vi has an angelic spear, even though anyone can buy a weapon from Carmilla, and that she has an X on her blindfold). And like, why was Valkyrie afraid to tell her all-forgiving and understanding girlfriend about this secret? Why didn't Charlie figure out that Vi was an angel (like, Charlie had never seen her girlfriend's blood, or what?)?
In short, my idea is as follows: Charlotte pitchs her idea of redeeming sinners in her hotel, instead of a mass g*nocide every year, to the upper classes of heaven, and they listen. The higher angels give Charlie a test year so that she can find out and prove that a sinner can redeem themself. And if Charlotte succeeds, then the extermination will stop, and if not, well, everything will remain the same. And to make sure that everything is going well, and Lucifer's daughter is not making evil plans, one of the exorcists is assigned to Charlie β Valkyrie (it's a fake name, btw). Valkyrie doesn't really believe in the idea of redeeming sinners, but since she's been assigned to do something by the old angels, she'll get to work. She and Charlie agree that maybe the sinners won't like having an exorcist in the same room with them, so they decided that Valkyrie would pretend to be a sinner (a moth demon, to be more specific). And according to the hypothetical development of the plot, Valkyrie will begin to understand that maybe sinners are not as bad as they were taught in paradise, maybe not everyone is here deservedly. Would she side with Charlie?... But this is just a hypothetical scenario.
In the meantime, Valkyrie is a cold and non-empathic person. She feels disgust and contempt for all the hellish inhabitants. She firmly believes that heaven's policy is correct, and everything that has been drilled into her head since birth is true.
Well, that's it for now. Bye.
Honestly, I didn't really like what I did. Maybe next time I'll try to redesign her.
That's how big she is btw.
I did a small redesign of Lucifer. Just to a little bit upgrade the original.
What I don't particularly like about the original design: Lucifer's face is too small, so it barely fits a wide smile, red cheeks and eyes; because of the small face, Luci looks younger than he should (he looks like a child compared to his own daughter!); there are too many unnecessary things on the hat; because of the high collar, you can't see his face; there are about thirteen colors in his design, which is too much!
In my redesign, I tried to minimize the number of colors and details. Made Lucifer's face a little longer and reduced the smile with red cheeks, and also added a beard.
What do you guys think?
I'm trying to redesign Leviathan. It feels like my design is missing something.
The inspirations were Life from AT and Ursula.
And by the way, that's how big she is.
I edited a screenshot from Hazbin, 'cause, oh boy, it hurts to watch the show. Everything is red, detailed, bright, the eye cannot focus properly.
Edit with my redesign of Vaggie!
The redesign is filled only with my preferences and headcannons. I'm not trying to fix anything.
I did not draw a full-fledged full-length art with Vaggie, I only edited the promo poster with her (that is, I traced the body and added my own details, I'm sorry).
To be honest, I don't really like the final design of Vaggie, or rather her clothes. I don't know, she looks like a gothic/emo schoolgirl with those stockings, gloves and choker. With her serious and responsible nature, I think she would have dressed more professionally/in a business style. That's why I dressed her in the uniform of the hotel staff.
Sketches of the Light Fury redesign. Because its official design is complete crap, change my mind. She's a water dragon now.
I decided to repaint and simplify two of the most overdetailed designs in HB for fun.
When I have the opportunity and desire to make full-fledged redesigns for these two, I will definitely do it.
It was. But it doesn't really play a role in why this episode infuriated me. I don't like the fact that the fan didn't apologize to Twilight, although he should have, as I said. And it creates some kind of bad message for the kids, like, "Hey kids! You can violate someone else's space. And if that someone doesn't ask you not to do it directly, then you can continue to violate their space."
My most hated trope in mlp is that Twilight is justifiably angry at something, but she is wrong and in the end she should apologize.
Are Twilight's friends acting irresponsibly and childishly while all their friends and family suffer in slavery? Twilight is such a meany that she was the only one who was serious and tried to take at least some action to save Equestria π‘. Does her annoying fan follow her around and disrespect her personal space, although it's obvious that she's uncomfortable with it? Well, it's her own fault that she didn't say she didn't like it (it sounds very much like victim blaming), so she needs to apologize to him for yelling at him, duh π.
I f#cking hate this trope so much, you can't imagine.
guys, why do you humiliate your own kind? If you are stronger, this does not mean that everything is possible for you, letβs stop mocking the Disabled, those who stutter, etc., etc., we are people too.
Be kinder to each other!!!
