Anyway I feel the concept of undergoing ego death and becoming a person of love and understanding in that death fits Twilight exceptionally.

Pinkie is punxsutawney phil (punxsutawney pie)
Rarity is Rita Hanson (love interest)
Rainbow Dash is Ned Ryerson
Fluttershy is Larry the camera man
And
Apple Jack is Buster Green (mayor) or possibly the other love interest

More horse art ๐ฃ๏ธ๐ฃ๏ธ Anyway in my au Twilight is also a batpony. As such, after all the batponies went into hiding she was left alone until she fatefully was found by Queen Celestia. Cadance and Shining Armor, a young royal married couple were asked by Celestia to raise Twilight as Celestia could not bring herself to do it. Shining and Cadance were close to Celestia and reliable ponies, and as the princess of love, Cadance and by extension her husband โ were deemed as the perfect candidates to raise Twilight by Celestia. Twilight isnโt related to either Cadance or Shining in this au. Twilight grows up knowing little of her heritage except what she learns from books, and cultivates a strong affiliation for magic. As such, she is encouraged by Shining and Cadance to go to Celestiaโs school of magic and her story progresses from there. She grows up very loved by Cadance and Shining and sees them as older siblings/adoptive parents. (This is subject to change)

I drew quite a bit more than I thought, though I didn't have much for June or October that I liked. July and December definitely had the most drawings, July because of Art Fight and December due to my interest in sams/laes regrowing.
July and December had my favorite pieces (hence why December has three pieces, I couldnt just choose one </3), and I noticed I need to work on backgrounds more ^^' They're such a pain, but I really like the ones with backgrounds more than the ones without.

I was inspired by @clarissasbakery and how they colored their celestia's hair and i decided to try something similar!! i liked how it it came out xP
I started sunburst but idc look how pretty she isss
Sunset def cuts her hair off after the whole ordeal and she likely has some scars from her she-demon moment but I wasn't thinking that deeply when I drew her
I drew her horn straight but I really like the headcanon that she and sunburst are half kirin or are decendants of kirin but maybe it doesn't show on her too much idkk!
I love the edgier sunset and I don't think she really gets there until after the first equestria girls movie and gold jewelry is hard to see against her fur color but it's okay and I'm pretty sure I have her with Sci Twi in the human world but I totally forget I don't have my notes with me rn
