I've never done one of these before but I wanted to make a year summary with art from each month lol. I posted some of these on different months than shown here, but I'm going off the month I actually drew them.

My 2024 art recap! A really good year where I pushed myself to try new things. Here’s hoping we all continue to grow next year!

I wasn’t going to make an art summary for 2024 because for a good quarter of the year the only artworks I made were high school art assignments, but I decided it would still be fun to share those because I actually really like them and wanted to share art I’ve made that’s out of my norm. Like realism and clay. Honestly I didn’t draw an awful lot this year until September. I also thought I’d share some 2023 art to share my improvement in my art style, and more out-of-my-norm art….

Art summary 2024

The 2024 art summary is maybe the most colourful. Also... You can't imagine how hard it was not to choose some doctor who art in almost each month xD

Love where my style goes, how it develops and that this year I practiced more or shadow and light play, art without lineart, which I like how it turns out??? And that my artstyle becomes more consistent, more /mine/.

The wildness of difference between summaries of previous years and this one?? Woah. Next year I will try to come back a bit to the roots and draw more of couple interactions, more of teasing and - who knows? - smut arts. Such a joy to see visually the path I went

2024 Art Summary :DDD

On December 31st 2023, I decided that 2024 was gonna be the most productive year of my life, not just in terms of art but also just with life in general. I'd say I did a pretty damn good job holding myself to that. This was the year that I worked my ass of in school to make sure I graduated on time, got my first job, and officially launched my commissions (despite not actually getting any this year, rip).

One of the resolutions I set for myself was to finish at least one project every month, and I WOULD'VE actually pulled it off if not for school getting in the way. March and April were definitely the busiest months of the year for me. I almost didn't finish my October drawing because of my job but I pulled through last minute. Overall, I completed about 70 projects this year, give or take, which is ABSOLUTELY INSANE, especially for me because I work pretty slow most of the time.

The amount I've improved this year is genuinely insane to me, like if I showed my past self all the stuff I've made, I think I would have a heart attack and perish. I feel like I'm becoming the artist I've always wanted to be, and there's still an infinite amount of things I wanna do. My 80 page google doc of ideas doesn't even begin to capture it all.

I've been considering making videos on DeviantArt to maybe give advice to struggling artists, nothing super serious, probably just little 3-5 minute rambles to hopefully spark some motivation out of people, whether it be on how to draw something, or how to approach creative challenges, or even just life advice in general. I'm probably not the most qualified to be giving out serious advice, but after everything I've done this year, I feel like all the knowledge I've gained deserves to be shared (:

I may have one other thing that I finish before 2025 if I get to it in time but no guarantees, so that's all I suppose. See you all in a year HEHHEHWHAHAHAGDHWW

I drew quite a bit more than I thought, though I didn't have much for June or October that I liked. July and December definitely had the most drawings, July because of Art Fight and December due to my interest in sams/laes regrowing.

July and December had my favorite pieces (hence why December has three pieces, I couldnt just choose one </3), and I noticed I need to work on backgrounds more ^^' They're such a pain, but I really like the ones with backgrounds more than the ones without.

The results of the year!!! I'm surprised that it turned out to scrape together a full-fledged art one for almost every month

In principle, what can I say about this year

He was not bad, I have new experienced

I've been to a lot of places and even on this New Year's vacation I'm going to St. Petersburg!!

In terms of experience and new sensations, the year turned out to be quite stormy, some of my cherished dreams came true, which I am extremely glad about

Of course, there are sad moments, but I think it's fixable

If we talk in terms of art, then the year was not successful in my feelings cause I did not draw much and I forced myself to drawing

I have accumulated a lot of responsibilities and debts , some of which I will cope with in the new year already 😕

So I probably want to wish everyone and myself good health, wealth and monetary profit in the new year without much effort and suffering

Well, so that next year will be more saturated with all sorts of pictures and progress in them

And also I really want to get away from the standard pictures a little next year and start do at all sorts of tikitaks and probably be more active in social networks and asks

I didn't draw much at first part of this year, but at summer my art block had end. For me it was like I'd finally understood what and how I want to draw. Hope this year will be much productive.

My first year doing this and honestly it’s really cool to see how far I’ve come in one year!

Here’s my 2019 art rewind (I didn’t realize people were calling it “summary” until just now whoops.)

Some of these I haven’t shared here (yet) but you can clearly see me stepping out of my comfort zone as the year went by and trying new things, even if it’s all still SU related. Hehe, I’m trash but I’m proud of it.
