I wanted my Audrey to have two outfits. One that was darker and cooler colors for the middle of the story when she's going through harder times, and one outfit that was brighter with warmer colors to represent she's healing along with nature towards the end of the story. The first drawing I posted was of her first outfit. For this second drawing I also wanted to draw her looking more playful and happy, I've also been wanting to draw a character in this pose for a while xD (if you're wondering the L is directed at Once-ler, whom she lovingly teases like he's her brother)

(Audrey Art part 1.) I have my own AU Audrey/Audrey OC for my "Once-ler-pon A Time" fic now and this is her and I love her. This is Audrey Flowers and she's 20! Click "Keep Reading" to hear all about her!!!

My Audrey seems very serious and somewhat closed off before you properly meet her, partly because her parents are very critical of her and judgemental and because she's constantly been picked on by classmates. But also because the destruction of nature and beginning of O'Hare's dictatorship started when she was a teenager so she was forced to grow up too fast and become pessimistic and sad.

But once you get to know my Audrey and she trusts you, she will love you and trust you deeply forever. Once she trusts you she's very very silly and playful and totally embraces her inner child around you. She will constantly do silly things.

She's also extremely gentle and polite, even before she knows or trusts anybody, but if she senses injustice she is fierce and fights back. She's extremely protective over her loved ones and has strong morals.

She's also very artistic, mostly liking painting and dancing. She finds painting is the only way she can truly express herself and her inner child without her parents or strangers judging.

One day Audrey gets tired of living in Thneedville and trying to be a "perfect, lady-like young woman" for her parents so she sneaks out of town and while aimlessly exploring she comes across the Once-ler who's been isolated for a few years and is an emotional mess. She hates him at first when she realized what he's done and who he is, but she soon comes to understand why he did what he did and realizes he actually has a pure heart and feels like a scared little kid who grew up too fast just like her (And he has mama issues just like her). They end up becoming best friends with a sibling-like bond and I love them. (My Audrey is actually partly inspired by my best friend Monique as my Once-ler is partly based off me xD)

I drew this for my grandma. Recently I've been thinking about her even more than I always already am and her birthday is this month. And also just because I love her very much. <3

I wanted this artwork to feel comforting and dainty as well as gentle and kind, much like my memories of my grandma. It was important for me to include lots of flowers but esspecially pink roses. They were her favourites and she had a garden full of them. She would talk about the dragonflies in her garden and once sent me and my mom dragonflies made of ribbons (she loved making crafts and sewing <3) so I included dragonflies. She absoluetly adored snowflakes and loved rabbits too. I included a small rat as years ago she had a lovely pet rat named Rosy, and some planets because she once sent my mom a book about space. I included a deer and an angle as angles are angelic and pure, and I think of deers as gentle and dainty innocent creatures. I meant for the drawing to be more pastel colors but it turned out looking kind of Lisa Frank but that's okay. I really hope my grandma would love this drawing. <333

I painted Roz and her son Brightbill from “The Wild Robot” which is one of my comfort movies now. I watched it for the first time a few weeks ago once it became available on streaming. I saw the trailer while the movie was in the theatres and knew “yes I will love this” because I adore movies about robots learning to feel and it looked awesome. It was, the animation is beautiful and the story is very heart touching and I probably cried three times?? I love it so much. I’m adopting Roz as my daughter just like I’ve adopted Wall-e as my son.

So I had to make some kind of fanart and I really wanted something Wild Robot themed in my room so I made a painting.

Hi there!! I’m a little shy about being drawn myself and my only OC at the moment (Oncekins) is not necessarily ready to be drawn and in my mind is canon Once-ler so I’m not sure if he qualifies as an OC haha. But I absolutely adore many fictional characters! Wall-E, Rapunzel, Elsa, Toothless the dragon and of course the Once-ler are some of my favourites! Thanks so much for wanting to draw me something! :3

Decided I felt like sharing some of my senior year art assignments. These are all over a year old but I still think they’re pretty neato.

I watched The Minions movie a couple weeks ago as I’ve been rewatching the Despicable Me movies and didn’t remember if I saw it yet. The movie was pretty decent, I found the beginning (basically any scene before Scarlet) fairly boring to be honest but it got much better towards the 2nd half. I enjoyed it more then I expected. The 60s vibe and parts with the queen were really fun I thought, but my favourite thing about this movie is without a doubt Scarlet Overkill. For one I just think having a female super villain is super cool, but she was actually so funny and I love what a sassy, absoluetly unhinged diva she is. She’s sweet one second and just deranged the next second and I found her backstory very interesting. So I HAD to draw her cus I love her. What an awesome villain. I actually practiced perspective and angles with this one and used reference pictures for once. I also wanted it to look slightly comic book like. I’m honestly so pleased with it, I think I did her justice.

My best friend (Monique who I keep mentioning) wanted me to give Ted Wiggins from the 2012 Lorax movie a "cooler" design. 1, because she thought he was so basis looking (for some reason? He's probably like? 13? 14? lol) and 2, because we're absoluetly huge dorks and we had just voiced over the ENTIRE Lorax movie together. Before we started we were practicing voices and casting ourselves and each other as characters and I made her be Ted even though she strongly disliked him for "being so basic and boring". As she was reading the script because watching the movie, she ended up making him sound so sassy and so zesty and as we were watching the movie she started doing his internal dialogue making him say "guys" a lot as if we was talking to an imaginary Youtube channel in his head. The voice she was doing was so funny and she gave him so much sass. We both love Ted now 😭. This Ted will probably end up being my Ted OC for "Once-ler pon A Time" story now (cus I needed one) but he still needs a unique name. I'm thinking maybe Ted Wigglesworth.

(Comfort Characters part 6.) Queen Elsa ❄️

I still haven't figured out how I want to draw Elsa but this is my most recent drawing of her. I remember when I was a kid, when Frozen just came out that everybody was obsessed with Elsa but I liked Anna better, I thought she was the actual main character and hero of the story and that she was cute and funny and that everybody just liked Elsa more because she had cool powers. Then rewatching Frozen for the first time in years on New Years Eve I realized "oh wait, I've literally become Elsa". She's painfully relatable now, I even wrote an essay for my best friend Monique explaining why but probably nobody wants to read that :')

This also might be the last of the comfort characters series thingy because the rest of them are not human, lol

(Comfort Characters part 5.) Once-ler my beloved. 🙏 :')

It's been about five and a half months since I rewatched The Lorax movie for the first time in yeaarrsss, and since then I've been very obsessed with this movie, esspecially the Once-ler who has always been my favourite. I've had a weird ??aromantic??queerplatonic?? crush on the young 2012 Once-ler (or emotional attachment towards him anyways) since I first saw this movie as a seven-year-old. I remember when I was little I more just thought he was cute and silly but was sad when he became "Greedler", but now that I'm older I love his entire story and how tragic he is (along with the silliness/cuteness). I was absolutely elated when I found out he had a fandom.

(Comfort Characters part 4.) Elena Gilbert from The Vampire Dairies.

Me and my mom have been watching Vampire Dairies together for years now (my dad loves this show too, esspecially Damon). I'll be honest and say I sometimes find the drama boring and even cringey at times (do like delena however even though it's kinda problematic) and the older I get the more I'm like "what a weird and kinda dumb writing choice" but I love the intense lore and storytelling of this show and how much sorcery and magic there is, like I love that if I zone out for ten minutes when I zone back in I'm like "woooahhh, what the hump is going on?". I'm emotionally attached to so many characters on this show but Elena's been my girl since the first watch.

(Comfort Characters part 3.) Pam Beesly 💗. The Office is probably my favourite show and I love many characters on it but Pam is the most comforting and also most relatable. She's the sweet and shy artsy mom-friend and no Pam hate will be tolerated on this page 😭

(Comfort Characters part 2.) Charlie Spring.

I was introduced to Heartstopper by the Netflix series but after seeing season one a couple times I found the web comic and bought all the books. I adore both the comics and the show and Charlie is my favourite, I relate to him a little too much sometimes. I tried mixing my art style with Alice's for this drawing, don't know if I succeeded though. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

(I made simple drawings of my comfort characters to try finding/refining my drawing style so I’m posting them as a series! Comfort characters part 1.) Rapunzel my darling girl, whom I love with all my heart and adopt as my niece.

I think Rapunzel will deep down always be my favourite Disney princess no matter what. I saw this movie in the cinema when it first came out when I was a small girl and was utterly obsessed. I remember I saw the movie in 3D and wanted to try grabbing one of the lanterns but knew I couldn't. I also drew a little picture book of a bunch of scenes from the movie and would tie scarfs to my hair and then stand by my window with the scarfs hanging out. I wanted TO BE Rapunzel so bad. Tangled will probably always be my favourite movie because all the memories it brings back. I've probably seen it 40 times but it never gets old. I know this movie word for word honestly. If anybody wants to start a chain in the comment section that's just the whole movie script that would be great.

I drew Ariel for my mum. 🧜‍♀️ Ariel is her favourite Disney Princess and has been since she saw The Little Mermaid at the cinema as a teenager. She told me she also had the soundtrack on cassette and a The Little Mermaid poster framed in her room which I find very sweet. It makes me very happy that she adored an animated film so much as a teen because I've always been that way. I also listen to the soundtracks of my favourite animated movies and am tryna get wall art too. xD

"Everybody needs a Thneed!"

I was just sketching for fun a few days ago when I drew this little Once-ler. I feel like recently I've been trying really hard to have my art look a certain way (less cutesy, slightly more mature, more gentle, etc). So it was nice to just draw something (this Once-ler) the way my hand just naturally wants to draw. This is the same way I drew my Once-lers when me and my friend Monique did our drawing game.

I love this style dearly but I still can't help but feel the need to draw less cutesy sometimes. I've honestly been feeling very artistically insecure recently and have been trying to learn so many drawing techniques at once that I feel like I don't remember how to draw at the moment.

Basic Anna sketch (and by sketch I mean this took me like an hour and four layers). Gonna be honest and say I don’t know what my drawing style is anymore. Also I finally saw Frozen 2 last night so yay :D!!

I've been obsessed with Frozen again recently since watching it to celebrate New Years Eve so I had to draw my dear Elsa. I wanted to draw her with her old dress on but with her hair down cus I love that iconic moment in Let It Go when she lets her hair down.

For years me and my best friend Monique have played this drawing game where we put the names of characters, animals, even objects into a hat (or on a picker wheel) and blindly choose two out and have to draw them merged together.

I got some pretty goofy combinations (shown under the "keep reading") but my favourite combo/drawing I made was definitely "Hello Kitty + Once-ler".

I absolutely adore this Hello Kitty themed Once-ler!! 😭<333 I think he's so adorable! x3 He's definitely not gonna be a serious Once-ler OC like my Oncekins or anything, but I might keep him around for fun because omg I love him!!

Annnd here are the other combinations I got. Pretty wild indeed 😅. I absoluetly love my frickin ridiculous ballerina Greedler. I honestly think he is hilarious and I am so pleased with the amount of sass and pizzazz I gave him. I drew him and was immediately like "ah yes, Tumblr would appreciate this cursed, cringey drawing".

I've very much been absolutely adoring pomegranates recently so I wanted to draw one. One, because they're such a pretty and unique fruit and two, because we had no pomegranate in the house for a couple weeks and I was really craving it so I thought I could draw it and like eat it with my eyes. Since that little bakery drawing I have discovered I love to draw food; it feels so cozy and wholesome.

I wanted to draw something for Lunar New Year even though it is still over a week away, so here's my attempt at drawing a lion like the lions in the lion dances. This was my first drawing done with Procreate on my new iPad with my new apple pencil!! All my digital art supplies have been upgraded so I'm hoping my art will be nicer from now on!

This was my last drawing of 2024 and also quite possibly my favourite thing drawing I've ever drawn. :'3 Unlike lots of my art (esspecially sketchbook stuff) I'm not just like "that's cute hehe", but I am actually proud of this one. JUST LOOK AT MY DEAR ONCE-KINS IN HIS LITTLE BAKERY 😭

I accidentally doubled the shadow layer and that was like the best thing that could have possibly happened to this artwork, my Once-kins looks so 3D 😭😭 I also spend lots of time drawing his expression and pose to create the energy I wanted. The thing I think really took this drawing to the next level for me was the background. At first I was just gonna draw a basic colored block background but then I decided to suffer instead :'D I wanted to take the time to make this image look as close as possible to how it did in my imagination. Also I discovered drawing food just feels so cozy and wholesome and is so weirdly relaxing and satisfying \(^-^)/💕
