James: *starts tearing up*

Sirius: *senses soemthing is wrong, starts bolting to the common room crashing through many walls and floors*

Sirius: HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO JAMES!

Sirius: I would still love you if you were a worm! Infact I would give you a little home with other worm friends and feed you

James: I sure hope not I’d report them for trespassing

James was actually really good at singing, he just never showed it because he thought it was embarrassing. The only person who ever heard him sing was regulus, completely by accident of course. Regulus was a bit late to meeting James at the astronomy tower one night, James decided to take the time alone to sing aloud a song he had stuck in his head (he always had something stuck in his head). Regulus was mesmerised by the sound and ended up being later than he expected, just because he was standing listening to James sing. James from then on would sing to regulus, whether he was having a panic attack or just sitting together and regulus asks, James would sing for him.

After they broke up, regulus found himself mumbling songs that meant something to him and james. James however, never sang again.

James potter was always the sun, but the truth is he never was. His dream? To fly towards it, and never look back. So when he had the chance, he ignored the warnings, he ignored everyone’s advice, and soared. And the sun the was beautiful, but as he flew closer, its beauty blinded him. He didn’t notice his back felt lighter, or his body was falling away. Only until I was too late did he realise that the sun was right Infront of him. All he had to do, was make them smile.

I'm not a socially awkward introvert. I'm a socially awkward extrovert. I am perfectly capable of carrying a conversation, but I'll carry it like a seagull carries a french fry. Snatching it from your fingers and flying off faster than you can process, and then taking it somewhere weird.

I do love grumpy Regulus who hates James on sight. He holds a petty, childhood grudge against him because he blames him for everything from Sirius's sorting to Sirius's leaving.

I also love Regulus who sees James and is immediately down bad. He looks at him, "Raw. Next Question." Regulus, who thinks all of his problems could be solved by getting dicked down by this man. (He is correct)

James says “I love you” to every single one of his friends all the time. The only person he never says it too is Regulus. And this freaks Regulus out so much because he’s the only person James doesn’t say it to even tho he’s his boyfriend so that must mean he’s not in love with him. But here’s the thing, James has not said “I love you” yet even though he says it with everyone else because with Regulus IT MATTERS. It’s not just a quick “bye I love you” like with his friends it’s a real meaningful impactful on their relationship kind of “I love you” and he’s scared he’s going to scare Reg off. On top of that James has never had someone love him back romantically and he’s scared shitless that Regulus won’t be in love with him the way he wants.

So the day Regulus works up the courage to just tell James he loves him, entirely expecting to not hear it back, he’s left in complete shock when James pulls him into a hug and starts crying saying how much he’s in love with him. Reg starts crying too and they both end up in a mess of tears, limbs and snot as they tell eachother how much they love each other.

When regulus told Sirius he was trans, Sirius practice told James immediately. Sirius only told James so he could protect regulus. James wasn’t a violent person but when it came to someone he loved he would do anything to protect them. At the time Sirius didn’t know James loves regulus, at the time Sirius didn’t know regulus had already told James, had already asked him to protect him, indirectly of course. Sirius only figured it out when James punched someone for insulting regulus, Sirius only figured it out because James would do anything for someone he loved.
