“I choose the prophecy. It will be about me.”
In my opinion, this quote from The Titan’s Curse is one of the most important moments for Percy’s character in the whole series. Here he is, still a kid, pushing down his fear and choosing a prophecy that could easily end in his death, all to protect Nico from that very same burden. He admits in the next few lines that he doesn’t want it, but he steps up and claims it anyway to spare a kid who hates him. It’s the selflessness and compassion that Percy displaye here in willingly shouldering such a heavy burden that, to me, truly makes him such a remarkable hero. There are so many stories about heroes having a great destiny, but Percy really stands out here because of his choice. He accepts the personal pain and suffering that could potentially come out of this prophecy and doesn’t shy away from it, just to save Nico. To me it’s this moment that truly shows that Percy is the child of the prophecy, not just because of his choice, but because of what his choice proves about who he is - a courageous, selfless person who is truly strong enough to fulfill his destiny and lead the demigods. I honestly still feel proud every time I reread this scene.

There's this thing:
In both Hunger Games and PJO we have 2 characters named Castor and Pollux
And like what if Zöe Nightshade was reborn as Katniss?
🧍♀️
Whoa,that's a lot to think about😀
All right, let’s break his down @netflix. I’ve worked it all out and I want to present it to you because I REALLY think it’s worth it. You NEED to turn Percy Jackson into a TV Series.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
Five books = FIVE SEASONS
The Lightning Thief = 22 chapters
The Sea of Monsters = 20 chapters
The Titan’s Curse = 20 chapters
The Battle of the Labyrinth = 20 chapters
The Last Olympian = 23 chapters
This makes a total of 105 chapters. Chapters = episodes. 105 EPISODES!!!!
!!!!!THEN!!!!!
If you continue on to the Heroes of Olympus series you get:
The Lost Hero = 56 chapters
The Son of Neptune = 52 chapters
The Mark of Athena = 52 chapters
The House of Hades = 78 chapters
The Blood of Olympus = 58 chapters
This makes a total of 296 chapters. That means AT LEAST another 296 EPISODES!!!!
If each chapter feasibly fits into only one episode that makes a grand total of 401 EPISODES!!!!!
This does not take into account the Trials of Apollo. Plus the 14 short stories that, more than likely, take place between the books.
For the love of the Gods, I beg you, please make this a reality!
"I guess I'm just too tough to cry"
Luke's mom still waiting for him to visit
WITH COOKIES
AND SANDWICHES
If Will and Nico had a child XD
Oh boy…
Think about this:
So,satyrs feel emotions.
For them ,Dionysus is like a boss
It means that he (Dionysus ) understands others' emotions even better because:
1. he has a higher rank (idk how to call it) compared to satyrs
2.he is also the god of theatre,so he can see through people, when they fake their emotions and see who they really are and not just who they try to be(like he always underatood Nico's feelings when Bianca died, even if he never said that)
Shoutout to Rick for never letting me see national monuments the same again. I will forever and always be reminded of PJO every time I visit famous attractions like the Gateway Arch and the Hoover Dam. They’re supposed to represent an important part of history? Nah bro that’s where Percy Jackson fell into the riverfront and the other one’s where the dam snack bar is.
honestly I wish the seven got more friendship moments in the books. besides their war meetings, they got gelato one time. Ik they were in a serious war and didn’t have time but they’re still kids, let them have a game night and watch spongebob together
"But remember, boy, that a kind act can sometimes be as powerful as a sword."
