[X-Men Evolution - Voidgazer]

Ah yes, the 2000s. A new millennium arrived, gothic and hip-hop fashion was trending, independent cinema gained popularity, Y2K paranoia and computer errors.

And also the birth of superhero movies like Spider-Man and Batman, and of course: The X-Men.

And here we are, my baby in X-Men Evolution, a series I loved and recently rewatched like twice. It took me a while because I wanted to make it as similar to the series' style as possible, and the background was the hardest part because I didn't know what to put in it, lol.

But anyway, here you have 2000s Max, a fan of science fiction and rock, and her endless crush on Kurt—she also has Sabretooth as a crush, but you should know it's nothing serious because the age difference is huge and that will never happen

Does voudgazer have brown or black hair? I was looking through your art and one of the pieces had her with brown hair but a lot of your other pieces she has black hair, so I'm just a little confused, I hope I don't sound rude and sorry if I do

Her hair was originally brown, that was going to be her default color, but then I decided on black.

I have drawn my Voidgazer with Nightcrawler again, but this time in his X-Men Evolution versions.

No papis, these versions that I drew of them are already adults as seen at the end of the series, although a few years older, I better clarify things or misunderstandings will arise

I wasn't planning on showing it since it's still in the sketch stage and I wanted to wait to finish it, but as you know I can't keep my hands still.

Anyway, it's still a sketch, an initial idea that I'll add some small changes to later.

He can teleport like his father Nightcrawler, but it is through the Void, not only so quickly that it becomes imperceptible, Raz can also stay there and return whenever he wants. Raz looks more like his grandfather Azazel lol. He does not currently have an alias. Don't ask him what his middle name is.

I am so serious when I say if you want to learn about light, you NEED to at least look at modeseven’s tutorials. even if you’re not pursuing a painterly style, this is all essential theory that can be easily adapted to different coloring styles. notice how none of these ever say ‘light with these colors and shade with these colors’? notice how this is teaching how light works on a mechanical level, and reminding the audience to adjust the actual colors they choose by context? THAT is good advice.

(if you’re thinking ‘wow I want to study more of this persons art!’ I encourage you to do so, but proceed with the knowledge that modeseven draws pretty much exclusively weird as hell kink art. sometimes wisdom comes from horny places)
