I want to start buying some comics of my own, but I have absolutely zero clue where to start. If you would be so kind, could you tell me where to start/what order to read comics for some characters I list? Thank you!!

This man has been my favorite X-Men since childhood,
I'm so happy to see him done right on screen.

Finally redrew one of my favorite older ocs💚💚💚 my radioactive traumatized baby Renea!! i made her in for a science project in the 8th grade and she spiralled into a whole X-men/BNHA type universe with over 140 ocs😃 little me went crazy

I’m very worried for Wanda.
Like Magento’s last line makes me think he would try to kill her, and resurrect her. But if it backfires, and Wanda isn’t (still) a mutant, then technically Magneto committed a crime. So all of this could lead on the trial of Magneto.
I can imagine mutants being divided on rather to pardon Magneto or have him punished like Sabertooth. What do yall think of this???

I made a tier list with all morph characters designs I could find!! Sadly I don't have a good pic of evil morph in the manga...
My opinions below lmao
BTW I love all morphs (not very equally) and this is just for fun lol
I'm also a Sonic fan so being nitpicky is in my blood. Sorry...
I prefer dark blue hair for them but brown is alright, I feel it looks more generic tho
The stupid ass bowl cut they sometimes have is so funny but does NOT work for me
Manga Morph is absolute PEAK they look really really cute
Morph in the comics post 2000s feels a lil like budget deadpool and I'm not a huge fan of them (more personality wise than design wise) I Haven't properly sat down and read them tho so I could change my mind
Blank face morph works specifically in 97 for me bc the expressions are just. So on point. Would be way lower if it was in a different/lower budget animation style
97's evil morph doesn't quite hit for me but I'm watching in order and haven't gotten to 97 so maybe they'll look better in motion? Idk
The fact that morph's design was so inconsistent just in the og animated show is really funny to me tho. I like to think that morph just decided to make their hair brown. Then bowl cut. Have a lil change. It's honestly really charming and I wouldn't have it any other way!!

How to read X-Men?
For the dear X-Men fans that came in through 97 (or the movies) and are confused as to where to start the comics! Don't let the internet fool you, there is only one way and it is by starting with Giant size X-Men #1 (1975). No I am not kidding, it truly is the only right way to get the full story😭 (unless you want to go ALL THE WAY to 1963, I don't necessarily think it's that vital)
This is me trying to keep ppl from making the same mistake I did, starting with wheadon's astonishing X-Men ☠️
Here is a very useful pic of what to read next 💞 good luck!
This is to get ALL the context and major story arcs still referenced today. So I believe it to be vital for the other eras. (I don't know how you can fully understand jean and Scott's relationship today without having read inferno or dark phoenix for example)
Now, If you just wanna read for one specific character, that's a different story! Character specific reading guides that concentrate on the important issues across time exist! Look for those they're very useful <3

You didn’t expect much for your birthday. You never really made a big deal out of it, and most people at the mansion were too busy dealing with mutant crises to remember dates anyway.
Still, part of you had hoped for something—maybe just a “happy birthday” from someone. Anyone.
So when the day crawled by without a word, you quietly slipped out of the mansion before dinner and wandered into the woods behind the estate, the place you always went to think. The trees were beginning to bud, that early spring scent soft in the air. You settled on your usual log, tucked your knees up to your chest, and let your thoughts drift.
The crunch of boots on dead leaves snapped you out of it.
You turned just in time to see Logan pushing through the trees, a paper bag in one hand, a six-pack of root beer in the other.
You blinked. “How’d you find me?”
“Instinct,” he grunted, setting the stuff down and eyeing the spot beside you. “This seat taken?”
You scooted over, still quiet, still unsure.
He sat with a grunt and handed you the bag.
“…What is it?” you asked cautiously.
“Birthday gift.”
Your brows rose. “Wait—you remembered?”
“I don’t forget important things,” he said, cracking open one of the root beers. “Don’t let the grumpy act fool you.”
With slightly shaky fingers, you opened the bag and pulled out the contents: a worn paperback of your favorite book. The exact edition you lost months ago. You stared at it for a beat too long.
“…You tracked this down?”
“Had a contact in town. Took some digging,” he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck.
You hugged the book to your chest. “Logan, this… this is perfect.”
He just nodded, eyes fixed on the treetops like he couldn’t handle looking at you too long. “Ain’t big on birthdays myself. But I figured if anyone deserved a quiet one, it was you.”
You smiled at that, eyes stinging a little.
“Thanks,” you said, leaning your shoulder against his.
He stiffened for a second, then relaxed, letting you rest there.
For a long while, neither of you said anything. Just two weird souls sitting in the woods, sipping root beer and watching the sky shift to a soft gold.
Eventually, he murmured, “Next year, maybe I’ll get you two books.”
You laughed, warm and light. “I’m holding you to that.”
