we're all aware of hypermobility right?
well let's raise awareness for hypomobility.
as a person born with cerebral palsy that left me hypomobile in different areas of my body, it can be debilitating. I can't do certain things without feeling my muscles stretch and being in severe pain. sometimes, different joints lock up in place and won't move. it's scary, there's been times where I thought it would stay stuck forever. I have less range of motion than an average person.
but nobody ever talks about hypomobility. all the attention goes to hypermobility. which has made me feel left out and less valid in the disability community.
lets raise awareness for hypomobility. we need all the same support and recognition hypermobility has
feel free to reblog <3
By the way, if you post about being a trans ally, but only ever talk about trans femmes and trans women, we notice. If you never include trans men in your activism, we notice. If you imply trans men don't "need" your help and activism like trans women, we notice. You either care about all trans people, or you don't actually care about trans people.
Hello, I'm hamdi 🇵🇸 After 100 days of displacement, my family and I found ourself forced to leave our home and land in Gaza. 🏡💔 The journey to Egypt was not a choice, but a necessity imposed by the harsh conditions. we crossed the border, carrying with us scattered dreams and hopes for a better life, but we quickly realized that displacement was not the end of the suffering, but the beginning of a new chapter.
In Egypt, we are stuck between a bitter alienation and a painful reality. 😔🚧 We do not have residency, which makes every step difficult and every day full of challenges. Prices in Egypt resources are unforgiving, and the ones we brought with us are quickly melting away. 💸 While we try to endure and survive, our hearts remain attached to Gaza; The homeland that never leaves our minds or leaves us for a moment. 🇵🇸💔 Our loved ones there live under siege, and we live under the burden of alienation and worry for them. Every day in Egypt feels like an endless wait, and every contact with Gaza opens a door to pain. 📞💔 Returning to Gaza did not alleviate the anxiety, but rather confirmed to me that the suffering continues, whether we are inside or outside.
We may still have 300 days to reach the “goal” that we do not yet know, but until then, we will continue to face the challenges of life with patience and strength, waiting for the day when safety and stability return to us and our loved ones. 🍉🌈🤲 Donate now: In these difficult times, every donation makes a difference. Your support can help alleviate the suffering of families living under siege in Gaza and facing the challenges of daily life. 🇵🇸❤️🍉🤚 Please put your hands in mine and support my children🙏🙏

Since yesterday, there’s been nonstop, intense bombing all over Gaza.
The airstrikes haven’t stopped for even a moment.
Islam lost some of his relatives and loved ones yesterday,
but he’s still trying to survive, protect his family,
and find the right treatment for his mother who has cancer.
I just don’t know what more the people of Gaza have to go through to get the support they need.

You dont need to add war dance to it, haka translates to dance. But i agree, You can feel the mana leak out of the screen!! Even if you arent austronesian, Haka can give you a nice boost ☺️

They are not allowing any food or aid to be sent into Gaza. This is not a famine, this is ST-RV-TION.
Hello everyone
Unfortunately, the news now does not bode well. It has been decided not to allow the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. We are now facing a real famine. No aid will be allowed in, and we do not have money to be able to buy food. The last donation we received was three days ago. We depend on your donations for our livelihood. Please, my friends, do not leave us. Please share our posts and donate to us so that we can stay alive. Please donate to us for the sake of my innocent children.

@fadel-dani He is only 23 years old, a third-year IT student, and he and his family were displaced several times during the genocide.
When Israel destroyed his university, he was deeply affected because he had excelled in his studies and aspired to become a successful and well-known engineer.
When his family returned to their home, after being displaced five times, bombs fell on their house. They miraculously survived the explosion, but Fadel was unfortunately injured and fainted.
Fadel woke up in the hospital and learned that due to the complete collapse of hospitals in northern Gaza, he and his family had been transferred, under extremely dangerous conditions, to a hospital in southern Gaza.
Furthermore, he learned that while unconscious, he had undergone surgery to remove metal shrapnel that had penetrated his body during the bombing. Due to the extreme danger and the collapse of the healthcare system, some of the pieces could not be removed on the spot. A doctor assessed his health and informed his family that he needed to receive treatment in another country as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, his travel and surgeries require travel and treatment expenses, and his family cannot afford them due to their deteriorating economic situation caused by the war. Therefore, Fadl created a campaign to enable him to travel and receive treatment as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, his campaign is progressing very slowly, having only raised 2,952 euros out of a target of 30,000 euros. I ask everyone to stand by him and help him.
He bled profusely that day. His normal blood count is low because he has thalassemia. The cost of the medication is too high for them, and he has fainted several times.
So far, they have waited more than 400 days to reach their fundraising goal so he can receive the necessary surgery. 400 days of physical and psychological suffering, feeling shrapnel from the Israeli bombing that destroyed his childhood home embedded in his body.
His campaign (gazavetters #197) has been verified, and you can help him raise funds to receive medical care as soon as possible by sending some money here:
