how do i get into poetry. it looks fun and interesting but how. i do not believe im poetically artistic so. looking in from out it seems pretty challenging for me to develop the ability to conjure and appreciate the craft.

It’s so fucked that Chuuya didn’t get to keep any of them. Not the flags. Not Murase. Not even Shirase or Adam despite them being alive.

do you ever think about the tragic fact that odasaku's dying words to dazai were to become a good man, to be on the side that saves people.....which leads to the creation of the beast universe as dazai, in his grief and denial, finds the book and alters reality with the mentality "then....that means saving you too, right?"

One thing I love about Kunikida and Dazai's dynamic is Kunikida's ability to still believe in him so much he still falls for his jokes. Like you know this has happened so many times yet still he dutifully will write down Dazai's suggestion in pen no less. But Dazai is also kind enough to not let him carry on with it too long.

Devotion is nothing like mindlessly killing oneself with hopeless sentimentality. There is an immense difference. Devotion is to live a worthwhile life forever. Humanity is immortal only by relying on this pure devotion. However, there is no need to dress up for devotion. Today, I should offer everything as I am. The plowman should show devotion as the field hand with the plow. You cannot be an impostor. You’re not allowed to postpone devotion. Every moment of life must have devotion.
