I tumblr! My name is Elaine. You can see me in this picture! That is me holding the sign, HI! Well my hubby said that if this gets 1 MILLION notes, he will buy me a horse. I would love a horse I grew up on a farm where I rode and ate horses til i was 15 when I moved. I have not seen a horse since, not even a picture! Only one painting I painted in 7th grade. My husband obviously thinks this is going to be an impossible task thats why I am taking this on the interwebs where i can get likes. I have 5,000 on facebook so I am almost there. I want brown horse with some white. I will braid the hair. Thanks so much everyone! Please help me achieve this! :) God Bless
genuine art advice:
put as least amount of time into the face as possible
try not to rely too heavily on digital art "tricks"
never hone in on one area until youre almost done
if youre not having fun drawing, ask yourself why and find a solution
kill the ogre before it can get inside your house
always consider where a technique would and wouldnt work
this was gonna be a tutorial and i guess it still is but if anything it’s just a really long and drawn out “essay” on drawing people with epicanthic folds. one of my biggest pet peeves is people drawing asian people exclusively with the same type of eye they’d give white people or anyone else who typically doesn’t have the fold! however i know that most people are taught with the standard white person eye (google image search for “eye” and it’ll all be pictures of white people’s eyes) so learning to draw epicanthic folds is a consciously learned thing.
therefore i bring you this, which attempts to break the mechanics of epicanthic folds down into something that’s a bit easier to digest and implement in your own art!
style can be argued i guess but it’s not that hard to stylize eyes with folds if you do proper observation and research. eyes with epicanthic folds are as diverse as eyes without so it’s not like you have to adhere to a strict model for them (although many people think that you have to) and all it takes to distinguish the two in stylized art (and even in semi/realism once you think about it) is a few lines! like i said this is a learned process but it’ll make your asian characters (and characters of other races even) a bit more interesting and believable.
My first anatomy tutorial! How I connect arms to the torso. Simplified the muscles for better comprehension
PS. Pectoral is misspelled as “pectorial” in the picture! Don’t make that mistake haha

Im pansexual myself and they really aren’t that different to me either.
But the way I see it is that it differs from person to person, I’ve never been one to think that bi people can only be attracted to two genders. Bisexual is two or more But not all. You could be attracted to every gender but just not be into the idea of dating one and that would qualify you as bi. If you are attracted to all you would be pan.
I’ve definitely heard the same arguments about the difference between them as you, never really got them. I can understand where the pretentious-pan stereotype came from when hearing it sometimes. Certainly still don’t agree with it but, regardless. I’m glad you deleted the post and put up with this response (hopefully). Have a nice day!
Did you know that librarymlm is an ace exclusionist and that they believe bisexuality and pansexuality are the same? Just letting you know just in case since you reblogged their post.
it took me a moment to figure out which post you meant. i will delete it.
however i wanna say as a trans bisexual myself i also dont feel like bisexuality and pansexuality are really all that different since nobody’s ever given me a definition of pansexuality that doesnt depend the belief bisexuality is not inclusive to trans and nonbinary genders - which is absolutely is -
obvs if ppl wanna ID that way its valid. but since these two words describe the same attraction to multiple genders i dont want to accept “they are the same” as being a problematic belief unless im given some specific reason as to why
just wanted to clear that up. but i love my ace friends and prefer to avoid discourse and exclusionist drama anyway so i will delete on account of that
