“Please….please just one thing that portrays them as the losers and nerds they are.”
It sure is something being a teacher this week with every MHA ending-hater being like: "Deku still had to teach for 8 years! He wasted the prime of his life! This is a terrible ending for him!"
Thanks for the support, guys. Feels real good to know my life's work is a fate worse than death!
Luffy, the king of the pirates that you are....

Listen, I love seeing soft, yearning, bakudeku.
BUT…..
Guys, they are not gonna be that gentle with each other all the time, they’ve been friends(?) since childhood, Midoryia isn’t afraid to talk back to Bakugo, the two bicker like an old married couple.
Enough of the wholesome cuddling in bed asleep art where everything is perfect— those two would FIGHT for the blankets, limbs are thrown everywhere, Midoryia squirms so much trying to get to sleep bc he can’t turn his brain off, which in turn keeps Bakugo awake. If they try cuddling, Bakugo gets too warm and sweaty, Midoryia steals all the sheets and they always wake up tangled and discombobulated.
I also love the idea of Midoryia realizing bakugo has a deviated septum because the guy snores like a fog horn. This then leads to Bakugo finding out that it’s actually not normal to stop being able to breathe when eating or drinking (does not take this well)
I want to see more petty arguments, arguing over produce prices in the grocery store, Bakugo sending Midoryia to the grocery store with a specific list and pictures or else he gets overwhelmed with all the options in front of him (and bakugo is picky)
I wanna see how big their All Might memorabilia collection would look like when they move in and the arguments that would ensue when it came to organizing it all.
(Midoryia wanted chronological order while Bakugo thought they should do coolest to still cool but not as cool order)
All this to say, they’re friends first before anything else. They know too much about the other, they’ve memorized the others quirks and faults, knowing the others mood just by how they pour their coffee in the morning. They’re too strong willed, stubborn characters that would squabble over silly things but be gentle and understanding when life gets serious.

I love how complex the dynamics of the Todoroki family are, like mha messed up a lot of things but the Todorokis are so well thought out. They exist independently from one another in a way that most fiction fails to capture. Each of the kids had very different relationships and experiences with their parents and it’s affected them all differently.
People love to say Shouto and Touya are similar but I think they are extremely different because of one detail: Touya knew what a happy family felt like. Before his quirk hurt him his parents adored him and were seemingly happy with each other. He was his father’s greatest achievement and Enji built him up, told him his whole life that he was going to be the best, trained him, praised him. He knew happiness, even if it coincided with physical abuse and unreasonable expectations to put on a child. Overnight he went from being abused but not neglected to neglected but not abused. He continued trying to train himself because for him pain and injury was already a part of his life, he didn’t see a reason for a few burns to stop him because he had probably been told that they shouldn’t by Enji before the truth of his quirk came to light. Touya’s feelings towards Enji are very different from Shouto’s because of this.
Shouto doesn’t seek revenge against his father the same way Touya does, not because Touya suffered more at his hands or because Shouto’s an inherently kind person, but because he never loved Enji. He was an abusive piece of shit for Shouto’s whole life. Touya hates Endeavor because he used to love him. He lives for revenge, his life and goals revolve around bringing down his father, proving himself and hurting the man who hurt him. Shouto would be happy to never even think of Endeavor again. Doesn’t want to see him, doesn’t want anyone to think of his father when the see him, doesn’t want anything at all to do with him. He’s indifferent to Enji’s existence as long as it isn’t immediately impacting him.
Touya and Shouto suffered similar abuse from their father but that key difference of ever feeling loved is what makes them so different. In the end Enji’s love and affection is the reason Touya went crazy, losing something is much harder than never having it in the first place. If Enji hadn’t just stopped spending time with Touya it would’ve been different. If he’d made the effort to really get Touya to understand and not expect overnight results… well it would’ve been a very different story.
I have many thoughts about him.
MARRIAGE!!!!!
They both yearn so hard.

My favorite thing about Luffy that I feel is overlooked is his definition of “King Of The Pirates”.
Throughout the series, Luffy comes across countless others who share the same name of a dream, but what separates them is what that dream looks like.
To Luffy, being king of the pirates means to be truly free. It means to provide freedom for all who sail the sea, where the sea is no place for marines to control.
It’s not about control, being King of the pirates doesn’t mean he wants to tower over the sea with an iron fist.
Luffy doesn’t want to rule, he wants adventure with those he loves and calls his crew. He doesn’t strive for power, he follows his passion.
So to see him fight for his beliefs, to see him fight for those he calls friend, who wouldn’t want to follow him?
People often mistake Luffys indifference for ignorance and I’m here to set the record straight:
Luffy is aware of others and their emotions and what goes on around him, he just doesn’t give a fuck outright until you see him giving one.
Throughout the series we see Luffy beating the crap out of someone who’s an ally, for what at first may seem like no reason but in reality is because they are disrespecting a core belief of his or disrespecting themselves.
A great example is when he slapped Vivi (gay on gay crime lmao). He did so because he not only wanted to “snap her out” of her train of thought but he was also so angry that him and his crew were not being seen as her friends, that he was not trusted enough to be someone she could lean on when he had been there throughout their time in Alabasta. Vivi was also being selfless to a point of self destruction, trying to push away the straw hat crew, thinking of herself as a martyr, the only person capable of saving her country. So luffy had to show her reason in classic Luffy fashion.
Luffy is aware, he’s not just some kid playing pirates like everyone often thinks he is. Luffy strives for true freedom, he challenges the world government, he sees how corrupt the government is and denounces them entirely. He punches a celestial dragon because he doesn’t believe in power structures and believes every asshole deserves to be put in place.
Luffy is an anarchist. To be against the government and to start revolutions requires critical thinking.
Zoro does care about Luffy and his newly acquired form, but in the way he's been caring since his captain started with his gears. he cares because he has to know the side effects and how they affect Luffy. Luffy is a God, but that isn't news for Zoro, not when he's been holy from the very start. if Zoro fought for Luffy, if he left light kisses on his cheeks and hugged him as tightly as possible whenever they have to separate and will bite him and let him wear his shirts to sleep, and if he prays by helping him whenever he wants to do something stupid, and if he prays when he lets Luffy drag him everywhere like he's a ragdoll, and if he prays every single time he wakes up next to him. if Zoro believes so strongly in him, it's because he's holy in the way he's human, in the way he's strong all the while he is able to bleed, how he's able to laugh and cry, the way he gets angry on behalf of his friends when you hurt them, a man who frees and helps and yet hates when they call him a hero, he's reckless and makes mistakes, he's greedy and possessive, and he learns, he gets better, he's not the same person he was two years ago and he won't the same as he is now two years into the future. Luffy is a God, Zoro cares about this fact, in the way he's been caring for a long time now because it's not new for him, in the way he will care while he makes sure his captain can get what he wants
My Zoro senses are tingling and telling me that he’d listen to Chappell Roan
Him and Nami cry gayly over California and Coffee and he would DEFINITELY jam out to HOT TO GO!
Just trust me on this

Heavy In Your Arms
I can't stop with the zolu sacrilegious imagery.
I listened to Florence + The Machine the entire time making this, hence the title.
I need more Zoro/zolu fanart utilizing his three swords and his devotion, bc the imagery could be SOOO GOOD.
3 of swords in tarot is all about emotions, grief, pain, emotional suffering, but it can also be seen as a release. The three swords pierce the heart, eliciting emotions that may have been buried to bleed to the surface. It is a sign of sorrow, grief, but a pain that is welcomed.
And in Christian imagery, Mary is often depicted having swords piercing her/her heart, indicating the seven sorrows. It is showing the pain she went through that lead to Jesus’s sacrifice, depicting the grief a mother feels seeing their child suffer.
Now, Zoro’s devotion is tied to his sword style. His dream is intertwined with Luffy, making all of his training, every fight, every near death experience, and glorious victory dedicated to one man, his captain. Zoro fights because he sees Luffy as something greater than himself, greater than everyone else. With his 3 swords, he will claw his way to hell and back to save the man he calls captain.
Like, guys, THE POTENTIAL. USE SACRILEGIOUS ART TO MAKE THE GAY GAYER AND SADDER.
The swords have meaning, embrace it.

This took longer than I'd care to admit, I had to start it over twice and then ignored it for a month lmao.
A modern One Piece Au but Luffy has ehlers danlos syndrome.
He loves to get in fights despite it always ending up with him needing half a pill bottle of Tylenol, five servings of meat, a 4 hour nap, and a joint pushed back in place by Chopper.
Every gang knows him as that ‘stretchy, rubber guy’ because Luffy will purposely stretch his skin out to scare people even though it bruises later.
All of his finishing fighting moves leave him with a dislocated shoulder that Zoro knows how to put back in place after Luffy walked him through it one time with the worst instructions ever.
“Just push it back, quick! I can’t move my arm, c’mon!”
My notes to look back to when I write…I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS ABT THIS FIC ITS GONNA BE THE END OF ME AND THE START OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
I’m writing more Zolu and if you’re wondering what the vibe is lemme give y’all a sneak peak at my thought process:
I was listening to Roadkill by Searows and looked over to see some of the dead flowers I’ve preserved and I thought “hmm, I feel like Luffy loves others in the same selfish manner in which we preserve flowers: he loves them too much to ever part with them and even in death he would still find beauty and use in their shape.” Also very inspired by a painting I’m making about a crow eating another dead crow on the side of the road (because is there any other greater act of love and mercy one can show on another in a cruel, mangling death by still giving them one last purpose in life?)
So yeah, luffy Pov all abt his view of death, love, devotion, and Zoro
We don’t talk about the reason Zoro was so close to dying during thriller bark.
Like yes, it was for Luffy, he took his place with ease, not even thinking about it because it was luffy. He offered his life differently than Sanji did. Sanji saw Zoro sacrificing himself and Sanji couldn’t allow that because in that moment we saw that in Sanjis mind, he thought replaceable to the crew. (Which obv. Isn’t true).
But Zoro didn’t do it out of a lack of self worth, he saw luffy and couldn’t bear the sight of him gone. Zoro, whether he admits it or not, sees Luffy as something to behold, something that lives above others and shines a light that must be seen by all eyes.
On top of all that, he took all of Luffys pain. Not only did he take it all, he jumped head first into it, despite knowing how it would most likely be the end of him. He quite literally lept into all the pain and suffering Luffy had received without a second thought.
And on top of THAT… Zoro said it was “nothing at all”, not only because to him, it was nothing, what he did in his mind wasn’t something worth mulling over— sacrificing himself for Luffy is “nothing at all”. Also, Zoro knew that if Luffy knew the truth behind his pain, he would never forgive himself for being the reason behind his first mates suffering.
Whether you ship Zoro and Luffy or not, you cannot deny the love, adoration and pure devotion Zoro holds for Luffy.

I’m simple, I listen to a song about non-sexual intimacy and I think of zolu yearnings
This is my contribution to society
sketching Zolu as sacrilegious art is my favorite thing ever I can't wait to add color
“Stop making One Piece gay!”
The whole show is the found family trope
IT CANT GET GAYER THAN THAT.
This is my apology to the One Piece fandom, I said I’d never watch a show that long bc it can’t be that good.
I was wrong.
It is very much in fact good.
My two thoughts while reading The Metamorphosis, by Franz Kafka
1: wow, this is a beautifully tragic story on what it means to become “useless” in the eyes of society despite so wanting to be a part of it and it is a critique on how we do not shame others for choosing not to work but once one is unable to, they loose all inherent value in our minds and are diminished to being simply, a pest.
2: I wanna scurry around like a little cockroach under furniture
