I am discomfort…
Writer friends, I discovered a fun website today. It’s called “I Write Like” and here’s the description: Check which famous writer you write like with this statistical analysis tool, which analyzes your word choice and writing style and compares them with those of the famous writers. Let me know which autor you got!
A sigil for protection.
So the weatherman kept telling my area to expect 1-3 inches of snow, and that we probably wouldn’t have school tomorrow. Well, the day comes.. and no snow. The next week, he says to expect MORE snow. The day comes.. powder. Like, powdered sugar. A light dusting. So, I decided, if the weatherman is going to tell me it’s gonna snow, I’ll have a little magic on my side to encourage it to snow! So I made a spell. It brings about FAVORABLE CONDITIONS for a snow day or two.
It’s good for us closet witches, because a it’s a subtle spell, and no one will know, unless people are routinely riffling through your pillows.
You need:
a sigil for snow day,
your bed,
and that’s it.
First, write down your sigil. Charge it with your hopes and prayers for a snow day and all the rest and relaxation that comes with it. The stronger your intent, the more snow days you are likely to have (I ended up with two).
Second, put it under your pillow when you’re getting ready for bed.
Thirdly, go to sleep. We all know snow doesn’t fall in generous amounts when we’re awake. Sleep on it for one week, and you will end up with a lovely snow day! Or two!
Don’t recast this spell after casting initially for a few weeks. Mother Nature may saddle you with a blizzard, and us folks here in the Midwest region don’t need any more blizzards, thank you.
The last of my cards in the major arcana! Yay!
Thank you very much! 💜
Ma’am I need help.. is it okay to use a metal thing for your wand? Because I have a very pretty hand-made copper bubble wand and I wanna use it for a wand..
Of course! Wands are used as a means to direct and channel energy, and metals are good conductors so it’s safe to assume that they’d make good wands.
As much as woods are the traditional option, they aren’t the only option.
A sigil of creativity! It is also inscribed on my sketchbook, so I will never lack for artistic inspiration!
Hello! I saw that a while ago you reposted something saying that it was okay for newer witches to ask you questions…I’m not sure if this has anything to do with divination, but I’m also not totally sure who to ask. I recently opened an unused deck of cards and the Ace of Spades, which I always understood to be the most superstitious and powerful card, was missing. I have my own intuitions about what this may mean, but I also wanted to ask a more experienced witch.
Thank you!

Hey! I’m glad you asked. I’m this case, I would go with your gut. The suit of spades in cartomancy generally refers to a roadblock or a difficulty.
More specifically, the Ace of spades means a new insight or realization. So you could have a lack of insight on a problem somewhere in your life. Maybe you’re working at a problem without all the input and angles needed.
Or, on a less magical note, there is always the possibility that you’re just missing a card in your deck. It depends on your gut, and if your instincts say it’s related to a problem, then reevaluate a problem that sticks out to you. (Because there’s only one card to go off of, it’s hard to know the specifics of the problem, which is why it might just be a missing card. I recommend pulling another from the same deck, just to see what it has to say.)
Hopefully that helped! I’m new at answering asks, so I apologize if that wasn’t coherent..
When you’re a witch blog but you do fandoms like drugs, lol.
Due to the overwhelming number of Silmarilion posts, I’ve created a sideblog. I’ll link it here:

Y’all have fun
These are the first 5 cards in my handmade tarot deck: the World, Judgement, the Sun, the Moon, and the Star.
