My birthday is coming closer and I fricking hate it. I don't wanna grow up...
I don't wanna think about the future... I have no passion nor a plan for the future... I don't know what to do
Last year I ignored my birthday, I kept repressing the fact. It worked pretty well until my mom congratulated me, being reminded of that made me sad and I kinda distanced myself from her the rest of that day and then I felt bad about it.
I don't usually write such personal stuff on the internet but I had to let it out somehow
I was rewatching Danny Phantom and found out Danny doesn't blush green in his phantom form.
I was shocked! I was mortified! I was flabbergasted! I was disappointed 😔...
I can't believe this is just a headcanon 😭
1. I think ghost cores are a cool concept and I think they kinda became the default and I like it.
2. I believe Clockwork is omniscient for all worlds/timelines except Danny's world (he can see the possibilities but he can't know for sure and that's why he's so interested in Danny)(I also believe Danny's accident somehow caused some kind of problems with space and time in Danny's dimension).
3. I like the headcanon that ghosts fight as a bonding experience (it also means Danny is pretty much the most popular guy in the infinite realms and I find it hilarious 🤣)(also means that Skulker is pretty much besties with Danny because they fight a lot)(I remember reading a fic that called Danny a friend whore and I was choking on laughter).
4. I think the electricity killed him and the ectoplasm from the portal revived him at the same time until he became a balanced existence (an halfa). Though I saw somewhere that said he might have died because of the radiation(his molecules got all rearranged) and I think this is more likely because of Vlad is also an halfa and his death wasn't very quick(he spent years in the hospital).
Anyway I'm bored, so here is how I feel about some popular Dp headcanons
1. Danny Phantom has constellations freckles (bonus if they glow)- I LOVE this headcanon especially if it's space obsession au
2. Danny Phantom has fangs (including his human form)- I don't like it 😞 I feel like it's more of a vampiric trait than a ghostly trait.
Vlad has fangs in his ghost form because he is a vampire wannabe.
3. Danny's eyes glow in the dark- I like it in a crack/fun way but I can't imagine it in serious fics, I can't see it working well or just imagine how it will fit in a story. (But it looks cool in fanart).
4. Danny has high metabolism, basically he needs to eat more than the average person so he could create his own ectoplasm- I like it, it's an okay headcanon.
5. Danny Fenton grows up(his human form) but Phantom doesn't (his ghost half is forever 14)- I love it, it's great for angst and for funny fics but I like more as an au (basically I don't want this to become the default).
6. Danny's heartbeat is slower than a normal person- I love it for angst fics(he can't be an astronaut because of it) and for funny/crack fics but I don't want this to become the default 😭.
7. Phantom can breathe which is something other ghost don't do and it's freaking them out- I don't actually think this one is a popular headcanon but I LOVE this, it's so funny. Like if his ghostly traits leak into his human form then he should show some human traits in ghost form.
8. Wes Weston- YES (technically he exists as a background character but pretty much all of his personality is one big headcanon).
You know you have read too much Danny Phantom fanfics when you start to think 'oh ancients' instead of 'oh god' in your head

Please Help me find a fanfic
Danny is summoned in Gotham. The bats try to stop the summoning but fail (John Constantine is also there).
They kinda interrogate him ,Danny loves his parents but he is aware they should face consequences and asks them for help with Amity park (he makes them promise that they will help Amity). He tells them he couldn't ask for help before because of Vlad (pretty sure he also exposed his halfa status).

Jazz paused in her studying and turned her attention to the news she had idelly playing for background noise. She had gotten into the habit ever since Phantom and her parent’s ghost fighting started becoming a regular part of the local broadcast. Though it tore another piece of her heart out every time she saw them shoot phantom and threaten to destroy him molecule by molecule. Now that she knew Phantom was Danny she wondered how they didn’t see.
But that wasn’t what caught her attention today. Instead it was the group of super heroes that had stopped that alien invasion last month. And hadn’t that been interesting. She had been hearing rumors and conspiracies for years about vigilantes fighting crime in other cities around the world, but the video footage from the thwarted invasion was the first time anyone had really seen any of them. Well except for Superman, but he had always been really open about helping people. The fighting had been so heavy the heroes hadn’t the luxury of stealth. And now the eight oddly dressed people were on TV announcing they were forming a group to better help protect the earth’s people.
They had just finished setting up their base and have made a telephone hotline people could call and report any suspected activity of supervillains or mad scientist. The tv then showed several examples from Gotham and Metropolis’ more notable criminals.
As Jazz watched the video montage of heroes taking down different rogues a knot started to form in her stomach at how familiar it all looked. Then suddenly the local news cut the national broadcast to show yet another fight between Phantom and one of the ghosts, with her parents catching up. Shooting and shouting at both the glowing specters. A shot aimed at phantom was dodged and hit the other ghost instead. Danny was quick to suck it into the thermos and flee. The local reporter couldn’t keep up but knew the event was over with how fast Phantom flew away.
The broadcast changed back to national news. At the bottom of the screen the Justice league hotline number was still displayed. Jazz hesitates a moment wondering if this was really the right thing to do, but ultimately begins to dial anyway.
“Hello, Justice League? I think my parents may be mad scientist.”

Like he is different from the human ghosts, he is not a ghost of a yeti or a werewolf, Skulker true form(without the mech suit) is kinda just a small green blob with arms and legs...
Is Skulker a blob ghost that gained sapient?

Teaming up/overshadowing
Does anyone know a fanfic where one of Phantom's rogues teams up with dc villains and fights the Justice League. Or where they overshadow the villains and they cause more chaos than usual and the league is concerned about them(notice how they are more powerful and act strangely).
I swear I read a fanfic similar and I can't find it.
Sort of a rant
I want more fanfics that explain(or at least dive deeper) why Danny didn't tell his parents that he is a half ghost, besides he is afraid they will not accept him(good parents Maddie and Jack). Like give me fanfics where Danny doesn't tell his parents because he doesn't accept himself not because they will not accept him. Give fanfics where Danny doesn't tell his parents because he doesn't want the truth to hurt them, like how do you recover from realising that your child is dead because of your negligence. It will destroy them.

I don't like little baby man Danny Phantom.
Martian Manhunter is Danny's favourite hero (I'm not sure if this a hot take)
There are too little fanfics where Martian Manhunter mentors Danny (like come on guys ,let our boy Danny fanboy over his favourite hero).
There are too little fanfics where the speedsters are the ones that know Danny. Like he time travels so many times , they time travel so many times, he should have meet at least one speedster.
I don't like most fanfics where Danny raises Dani like his daughter, I find it weird. Like it the show he's 14 and she is like 12 , I don't think a 14 year old should raise a 12 year old. I know most fanfics age up Danny but I still find it a little weird (I think they have more of a sibling relationship rather than a parent and a child relationship).
