Breaking from my hiatus to talk about the Switch 2.
I gotta say, realistically, I wasn’t expecting much beyond some more broader tech upgrades and social features. I like the new Joycon mouse features, the integrated social features and larger system, but not much was talked about the UI or whatever else for the Switch 2 (like an achievement system, themes, that sort of superficial stuff). But maybe that’ll be revealed in due time. Maybe.
Games on the other hand? I’m super stoked for Donkey Kong Bananza and Mario Kart Worlds! Those look fantastic. The NS2 upgrade system, ehhh…I mean, it’s expected, I guess. I’ll just get NS2 versions of those games anyway. Third parties - yeah, I knew those were coming. That Bloodborne spiritual successor I was not expecting, however! GameCube emulator for NSO, eh.
Overall, I’m definitely getting a NS2 for sure, but I’ll wait until Christmas or so at best. The prices are not my thing either for what is essentially a Switch upgrade - but given how the SNES and N64 days had some obscenely priced games and hardware, I’m not surprised. Really don’t want to jump on the terminally online hate train about the system, I got enough to worry about as is.
but seriously no kid Icarus or tin star WTF Nintendo, more like SUCKtendo amirite???

Hey everyone, hope yall are doing well.
Seeing how some of the people I’m following are going on hiatuses, I’d figure I’d do the same. I need to step away from my socials for a bit, get my ducks in a row. It’s nothing bad, I just need to set limits and focus on my life, hobbies and what I like drawing. I also want to devote time to drawing more personal stuff and start working on my first graphic novel (oooh!).
I am working on something really cool as well, and I’m psyched. I can’t wait to share it along with a bunch of new stuff when I come back sometime in May. See you soon!

Man, it’s been a while, hasn’t it? I apologize if I haven’t updated in a while. Just been in a slight funk, even though some really cool and big things are happening on my end.
That said, I gotta draw stuff that isn’t just CN and OCs - so here’s my favorite retro games! Well, maybe Kid Icarus Uprising isn’t retro…yet. I’m still holding out for a new Tin Star and Tempo, dammit!
