There is nothing that reminds me more of the beauty of Autistic Hyperfixations, than what my past week/month has been.

A long time ago, I started playing an Otome Game called Obey Me! (It's a good game, with compelling writing, and a good workaround for representing You/The Main Character). One of the characters I got very attached to was the Butler, Barbatos. His love of different teas, and the variety, and his insistence on high quality tea had me curious about it all; I much prefer a Flavoured Water of some kind, I find it generally easier to drink.

So, I looked into Tea Quality, Loose Leaf Teas; and then High Quality, Full Leaf Looseleaf teas that have no crumbs, just pure quality no-bitter aftertaste. And recently, I bought a whole lot of tea, enough to last me to the end of the year, because I have been wanting it, and I love the quality, and it's been worth saving up for it.

How does this all tie together? Well ... Since I could afford it, and I just got a whole bunch of high quality teas ... Why not buy the Obey Me! Barbatos plushie so he can enjoy my high quality teas with me?

I look forward to seeing him in June. And I'll be sure to have a nice glass of Shō Pu-er ready for him when he gets here ♥

You are absolutely right, and I'm sorry if that came off rude or uninclusive! Different cultural gender roles are ABSOLUTELY a thing, and one person's discomfort at "feminine" in their culture ABSOLUTELY doesn't apply to the "feminine" or "masculine" ideas of another!!!

A lot of conversations about gender and representation are heavily biased towards Western American Standards, if they are worth listening to or not. I am sorry if I participated in that a little with my comic. I promise it wasn't my intention!

I hope you're out there living your awesome, beautifully long-haired, masculine, C-Drama life.

Got into the swing of things by doing a Drawfee Stream Draw-along: basically, the premise is you turn on a drawfee stream, follow along with the prompts, and draw in/with the time that they do on stream.

Prompts were: Cursed Bird (Ornifex DarkSouls2), Drawfee Mug Miitopia PopStar, Modern Dungeon Meshi (Laios), and Lycaon/The Wolf From ZZZ. (Only Lycaon had a reference because I did not know what/who that was). Posted 25th July, 2024

It's Disability Pride Month, and I'm starting it off by doing some acknowledgement via Vent Art. Whilst the blue from the four-eyes was an easy allegory for my extreme nearsightedness, I also wanted to do a bit of an experiment with how I did this, to help acknowledge my own chronic pain.

The initial sketch stage of the gold cracks where drawn using places I was actively in pain for the 10 or so minutes I was drawing everything else and cooking. Each of the red-orange lines after are places I was in pain during the lineart section after. Neither of which included time not explicitly drawing. I was also going to include something about how I need a cane to walk, but I wasn't sure how to express that well using this character, or this exercise. Either way, it felt quite cathartic to just admit and acknowledge that yes - I am actually disabled, and I do experience these things. Posted 2nd July, 2024

Once I figure out how to get a TTS and set these up, I might use em both for that when streaming.

That also requires my stream to not cut out every 30 seconds due to a shitty laptop, but small steps I guess
