Reading the Spiderman/Deadpool comic and seeing all the creative ways the writers and artists give us the gayest friggin’ things imaginable between Peter and Wade without actually tipping the scale reminds me of watching trapeze acrobatics.  Like you’re 1000% sure they’re going to fall because there is no way they can alter physics, but then they start doing some gravity defying crap and at the last second they pull some super crazy stunt like catching the bar with their legs and you’re just like “...that was friggin’ awesome.”  You have no idea how they just did that without falling... just like you have no idea how they made it that gay without canon gay.

I just saw Into the Spiderverse... this movie is just amazing. However, now all I can imagine for every spideypool fic is hot mess!peter parker and his voice. Like I can't even picture any of the other incarnations now, I'm so in love lmao I really hope we get some awesome fanart and fanfic from our community using this version of peter, it'd be so much fun!

Also, if we ever get that spideypool movie we all want, I want it in this animation style. There is so much more that gets communicated through it than live action can. That and it's just so engaging!!

Okay, I know this is stupid, but now I want to know if Peter walks up to Wade dressed as Peter Parker and says "I'm fucking Spiderman" if it gets blocked out too? Or is that okay because Wade will just say "I fucking knew it!" and get all pissed off because he thinks Peter is FUCKING Spiderman?

... I now want Peter to befriend Wade as Peter Parker and just accept the strange fact that Wade is friends with Spiderman AND Peter, but Wade legitimately has no idea they're the same person and Pete just rolls with it like nbd, doesn't try to hide it or anything, and when Wade asks about their relationship Pete just explains his inner struggles on being Spiderman and Peter as fake relationship drama.

Like, Johnny Storm walks in on them playing video games as Wade and Peter and Wade makes a comment about Spiderman and Peter being boyfriends and Johnny just looks at Peter like "wtf?" and Pete's just going with it and describing relationship issues with himself that get Wade all worked up.

Headcanon: The real reason Pete's face and name are blocked out for Wade is because Wade mentally can't handle knowing that he killed his idol multiple times and unintentionally corrupted him to a point where Peter almost went darkside.

LMAO  I just realized in the new Spiderman/Deadpool issue, Wade literally made them drive in a heart shaped loop on their road trip at some point.  It’s in the center of his map XD  This series is a treasure in so many ways

Am I just going to be feminine forever or something?

Hey all, I wrote some months ago about my concerns over lack of results while on testosterone. Giving an update here and to check back and see if anyone has any new input because I'm trying to stay patient and positive, but it's mega frustrating to be about 2 yrs on T and still be misgendered as female by the general public. :( Especially when I get referred to as "young lady" and my cis female coworkers get misgendered as "young boy." They don't look like boys at all, like they have long pretty hair and wear make up (they aren't very curvy or big chested but still), I don't get it. It sucks for all of us.

I have about 4 hairs on my chin and the barest of hints of fuzz on my upper lip. Granted, my brpther also has a hard time growing facial hair too so I'm not super surprised. My voice, while less chipmunk, is still very feminine. I still have a "soft" looking face and very feminine body (curvy with hips). My clit is still pretty tiny and I am STILL getting my period.

My endocrinologist has no idea why I'm still getting my period. Saw a gynocologist and she doesn't know. So now I have an IUD in to help with it, and while it helps with the amount of blood, I am STILL menstruating and I've had it in for almost half a year now. I've had tons of ultrasounds and they all come back normal. All of my bloodwork comes back low estrogen and high testosterone, but I'm not seeing hardly any effects.

I'm hopefully getting top surgery done within the next year so maybe that will help me not be misgendered so much... and then maybe I'll get around to finally ripping out my uterus and stuff.

So, consensus? Maybe I'm just always going to be feminine no matter what I do. I'll make peace with it if that's what it's going to be, but I really want to be at least recognizable...

Am I just being impatient? Is something wrong or is this just going to be who I am? Should I consult my endo about it some more? Anyone else have these results?

I'll stop whining/ranting now.

Anyone else take this long to show effects of T?

Hey FTM community! I’ve been on T for 1 year and 4 months now and I have a few concerns.  I have had very little effect from the T (I do injections) and my T level according to my endocrinologist is where it’s supposed to be at (in the 600′s somewhere).  She says I can’t increase my dose because I’m starting to show signs of side effects of the Testosterone.   I’m trying to be patient here, but all I’ve gotten out of being on T is a little bit of acne, a voice that constantly breaks, and maybe a little more butt hair (tmi, sorry).  I still have my period, I don’t really have a deeper voice, I have no more facial hair than I did pre-T, my clit hasn’t really gained a whole lot of size, I have had no change in metabolism, muscle growing ability, smell, body fat shifting... 50+ % of the time I’m still labeled as female despite how I dress or carry myself.   I know it takes awhile to start having effects, but I’m just wondering if anyone else has had it take this long to start showing signs or know what might be up???  On a bright note, don’t know if it’s related, but all of my allergies went away like 3 months ago! Thanks for any and all input!

I don't know why it took me so long to realize this, but the "*ON" under Spiderman's name on Wade's free pass list, probably says "*ON THE CEILING."

Spiderman/Deadpool Story Boarding

Can I just say, I really love the story boarding of Spiderman/Deadpool?? 

 It’s been good throughout the whole comic, but there are two instances that make me fanboy all over this, because it represents how I feel about their relationship. Spoilers Ahead!!

This is the first instance.  

I love the layout of this spread so very much.  The panels and speech bubble flow mirror each other.   The top panel on both pages is the outside of a place they belong to with opening words from prominent women in their lives (Ana Maria and Shiklah).  The next panel is of the boys, Pete upside down, Wade right side up, and both are cross legged, back to back.  One mostly naked with a mask and one covered without a mask.  Ana Maria and Shiklah are both in the background observing and poking at both the boys’ shortcomings.   Followed is two panels with each character having their own individual panel, which leads into a final panel with Ana Maria and Shiklah holding Peter and Wade’s faces and trying to convince them to stay away from one another, to which they both resist in their own ways.   Ugh, this page is beautiful.  It’s like a comic page yin/yang style (Even the colors!  One predominantly blue and red and the other yellow and red).  This page really represents how I kind of view these two characters together and I love it, can’t get enough of it.  The next story boarding sequence that I love is this one.

Mephisto has just told Peter that no matter what he does, he will always feel empty, incomplete, alone, etc.  This is all timed in Peter’s bedroom which is starkly empty, without any sense of personality, and very lonely much like Mephisto said.  The panel that gets me is the 3rd one with the word “emptiness.”  Here we have Peter feeling the emptiness Mephisto said as he sits in his impersonal barren room in the dark.  Alone.   And yet as you look down the panel out of the darkness of the ceiling there is one things that sticks out, the only other thing in the room besides Peter. Something that stands out against the emptiness.  

It’s a little Deadpool plushie.  Now, while Peter is not very happy about what he reads in the apology card or to see the plushie, to me, this story boarding technique foreshadows what I want their relationship to be like... or at least half of it. I want them to be able to fill in the gaps in each other, much like this panel is indicating.   Where Peter is alone and empty because of the deal with Mephisto involving his relationship with MJ, maybe he doesn’t have to be completely alone.  Maybe he and Wade can be lonely together.   This just fills my head with so many wonderful scenes of them sitting on rooftops together and being buds.     Okay, I’m done, I just really really love these two scenes and I needed to gush about them.  :)

In my sad head!canon where Will and Hannibal elope and be murder husbands, Will embraces the darkness within himself and begins to lose control of his being.  He gets Hannibal and himself into trouble with the authorities where Will is eventually shot dead by Jack.  Hannibal is taken into custody, bored out of his mind for a few years because he has nothing to look forward to and no good conversation and the love of his life is dead.  Then a new killer is on the loose and a newbie FBI agent Clarice Starling goes behind Jack’s will and goes to see Hannibal to get his input on the case.  As soon as Clarice makes her appearance Hannibal starts seeing Will (covered in the mess of blood he died in).  He tries to make conversation, but she cuts to the chase and says a line that Hannibal has heard before and he starts to see Will inside of her.  (Side note:  In my head!canon Clarice digs up info on Will and tries to figure things out like he does and Wills’ “ghost” follows her around and tries to warn her in her mind about Hannibal.  And Hannibal of course gets to have convo’s with his dead hubby :) He is a little perturbed that he is actually seeing Will in his head, but goes along with it anyway).

Hannibal S4 and Beyond Wishes

I so badly want a continuation of Hannibal where Will and Hannibal explore their “murder husbands” lifestyle and Will falls deeper into the rabbit hole, so much to the point where Hannibal feels Will is losing control of things and Will is fine with it, completely consumed by his new being.  It gets them into trouble, Will is killed and Hannibal rots in an institution knowing that no one in the world understands him the way Will could, there is no one waiting for him,  no one to share his life with...  until years later a young FBI agent -Clarice Starling- comes along and Hannibal finds himself for the first time haunted by the ghost of Will. 

Finale Spoilers!!

----    Don’t read if you haven’t seen the finale yet       --- #1:  I’m worried about Crowley.  He’s actually my favorite character on the show.  I find him extremely interesting and highly entertaining so I REALLY don’t want Cas to kill him :( #2:  If the attack dog spell works on Cas like it did those girls and he dies... can he at least go to Heaven and troll it with Charlie?  Like could that be the spin-off series?  Cas and Charlie causing mayhem in Heaven discussing their love for Dean?  I would watch that. #3:  The Darkness looks like it’s coating the Earth...  I’m interested to see what kind of destruction it could cause and exactly HOW are the boys supposed to deal with it? (Free Lucifer and Michael to help fight it!!!!)

Cas and Dean Sharing Heaven :)

So... if Cas gives up his grace in the finale and then dies, does he go to Heaven?  Since he’d be human at death, does that mean he has a soul? If so, wouldn’t that be a fun story arc for next season?  Cas is locked in his own personal Heaven because he’s too much of a wild card.  The angels want him to try and enjoy his personal Heaven.   Then Dean has one of his random deaths and ends up in Heaven and he sees Cas in there because they’re soul mates!  Dean asks why Cas’ Heaven is Purgatory and Cas just says because his Heaven is wherever Dean is!!!!  Then Cas breaks Dean out of Heaven and tells him he has to go back, his time isn’t up yet and does some badass shit to bust Dean out of Heaven. Sigh... Only in my dreams!

S10 Carry On

I will scream if S10′s recap has that scene from ep. 200 where the girl was reminding the boys of “Oh that’s John Winchester’s other son Adam.  He’s still stuck in the Cage in Hell.  With Lucifer.”  It would mean Adam might come back!! ... Possibly Lucifer too? :) Prooooobably won’t happen, but it would make me happy!

Spn Season 10 Finale

So, if Cas has to die in the season 10 finale can it at least be like this? Dean is rampaging again and is attacking Sam and Dean.  Dean has Sam down and cornered and Cas steps between them.  He says he won’t let Dean hurt Sam and he won’t let Dean hurt himself (because he knows that hurting Sam in the end would devastate Dean beyond repair).   He steps forward suddenly into Dean’s personal space and holds his arms tightly as he leans in, connecting their lips.  Dean is shocked for a second before he realizes what Cas is doing.  Cas is expelling his grace into Dean’s body and burning away the Mark of Cain and replacing it with the “Mark of Castiel”- the love of an angel.   Cas is now human and Dean is saved, but Rowena does her attack dog spell and Dean is forced to kill Cas.   Then we have Season 11 start off with Dean having some angely powers due to the MoCa  and we can complete Dean’s checklist of him being:  Human, Monster (brief stint as a vamp), Demon, Angel.  :P It won’t happen but lol  It’d be nice... and sad.

Dean and Cas Interactions S10

I personally think that the lack of Dean and Cas interactions or mentions in the second part of season 10 have more to do with the Mark of Cain rather than the actors and/or writers. They gave us a bunch of stuff in the beginning with Cas pining for Dean and the shout outs in the musical episode.  We have Dean even asking Cas to end him if he gets out of control and Cas just generally being worried about him.  And of course the Cas/Collette parallels.   Dean’s been a little off this season because of the Mark of Cain and having been a demon at the beginning of the season.  He’s struggling with it.  The worse he gets, the more he plays it off and tries to subtly distance himself from the people he cares about.   That’s why I feel there’s no “chemistry” or “eye-sex” going on between them.  Dean’s not doing well.  At all.  He has WAY more important things going on with him than whether or not he is in love with Cas or Cas is in love with him.   When he was feeling decent, we got some of that fluff.  But now that he is just going downhill, he can’t be bothered.  Personally I feel that if Dean wasn’t behaving this way towards everyone (not just Cas), I would be a little confused when shit hits the fan with him especially if he was showing that lovely chemistry and having a lot of moments with Cas up until that point.  That chemistry shows that Dean is feeling normal and okay.  The chemistry is muted when he’s not.  If Dean was acting normal, the characters and viewers would have no reason to suspect that he is handling this poorly and should the MoC flare up, it would seem forced.   Now, they’ve always got problems in their life, so why didn’t that prevent Dean from making goo-goo eyes at Cas during the Apocalypse?  Or when Sam was soulless?  Or when the leviathans were wreaking havoc?  Or when the angels fell?  Or when Sam was possessed by an angel?   The reason is because during all that time, Dean was sure of his personality.  He knew what he was and wasn’t.  He had control of himself.  Yeah, he might have had nightmares or be guilt tripping about his time in hell or sad about all the death that follows the Winchesters.  But he was still Dean.  And he was human. Now Dean is dealing with something out of his control, that is forcing him to be a certain way, it’s changing him.  He was a DEMON and he tried to KILL SAM.  The MoC is trying to make that happen again.  He doesn’t trust himself not to cause damage.  That’s why he asked Cas to kill him if it got to that point.  He’s trying to fight it, but he’s losing.  He is not doing well.   It’s because of that compromised state of mind that he’s in he isn’t being normal Dean and hence not creating a normal chemistry with Cas. That doesn’t mean that he doesn’t still care about Cas and Sam and Charlie.  It just means that right now, that’s not even a concern in his head.  He just doesn’t want to hurt anybody even if that means his death or him leaving forever.   That’s why I feel that there hasn’t been as much interaction between Cas and Dean in the second half of this season. After becoming human again, Dean felt reasonably well and we got some normal Dean that made everybody happy.  Then he’s just kind of faded away because he is basically relapsing.   This is just how I see it and why I personally am not discouraged.  Would it be nice to see all that Cas and Dean fluff?  Absolutely.  But when I see it, I want it to be believable and not stand out.  I want it to flow naturally and not be placed in there just for the sake of it.  Even if it means that there is a point in the story line where they don’t get to interact as much, like right now. The nice thing that the writers’ are doing for us right now is continuing to show that Cas cares about Dean.  That Dean is still always on his mind even if Dean can’t right now.  That’s the other reason I believe that they aren’t deviating from the Cas and Dean relationship.  (It’s also the reason I believe that Cas being canonically in love with Dean will be the first thing to come in their saga, but that’s a theory for another time) For now though, everything in the fandom is just speculation (including my own feelings and theories).   Season 10 finale is almost here so lets’ see what they give us!    :)

People, Cas, Sam

Pardon any inaccuracies as I’m typing this right before bed.  

Spoilers for 10x19!! While I personally don’t think the order in which things were said is important: “... kill some people?  Kill Cas?  Kill Sam?” I do think that the fact that they were addressed as separate things was significant.  Obviously Dean’s subconscious was grabbing onto things he found important.  Saving people has always been a mission of his.  People are important to him.  Cas and Sam are important to him as well.   But why not just say “Kill Cas and Sam?”  

...  Because they’re not the same.  

They are all important to him, but all three things hold different places in his life.  People are his mission.  Sam is his beloved brother.  

Cas is not a brother to Dean as this line suggests.  If he was, he would have been included as “Cas and Sam” or vice versa, implying “my brothers.”  But he wasn’t.  He was separate.   So brother is out.  He can fall in one of two places.  

Best friend (which Bobby had declared him in season 7) or a romantic interest (which is inconclusive, but highly suggested).  

Either way, it’s nice to see that Cas is recognized as someone special in Dean’s life.  He’s different from Sam, different from other “people.”   :)
