“Let’s go to your daddy, come on,” Secretary Choi says, reaching his hand out for Haneul. The kids better knew him as Uncle Secretary, or ‘Yeonjun-ah’ as they often hear from their dad.
“Where we going?” Haneul asks, looking up at Yeonjun as he holds onto his hand.
“Daddy has a meeting and we both have to attend,” he says, leading the little one out of his dad’s office.
“Are we going to play?” Haneul asks, kicking his feet up obnoxiously with every step down the hallway. “I want to play with daddy.”
“You can maybe play with him after, daddy has to listen and watch a few presentations first and–” Yeonjun looks down at Haneul who was looking up at him with furrowed eyebrows. The older one sighs. “Daddy’s busy, but after he’ll play with you okay?”
“Okay~” Haneul says before letting go of Yeonjun’s hand and running into the open doors of an elevator. “Boop boop!” He yells, pounding his small fists onto the buttons of the elevator.
“Y-yah! Kim Haneul!” Yeonjun yells, running after the little one who smiles at the secretary when the elevator doors close.
Yeonjun aggressively presses for the elevator doors to open, quickly panicking as he doesn’t know where his boss’ child has ended up.
He checks the time on his watch and he’s late. Yeonjun looks around and debates on running down a few flights of stairs when suddenly the elevator doors open.
“Uncle Yeonjun!” Haneul giggles, pointing at the secretary. Yeonjun sighs, turning around with his head pointed down to the little one’s height. He wasn’t there, but instead a pair of legs were. Yeonjun visibly swallows as he follows the legs up to see who was connected to them. Of course he knew.
“Yeonjun I thought I said to bring him to the meeting room? I instead heard him screaming and running down the hallways unsupervised.” Jin says, walking towards the younger one. “We’re late, let’s go,” He says, pulling his frozen secretary into the elevator with Haneul in one of his arms.

“I don’t wike it,” Haneul says, bored out of his mind, leaning back into his dad’s lap as he watches another presentation led by one of Jin’s employees. The employee presenting laughs awkwardly, as he clicks on to the next slide.
“Shh,” Jin says, readjusting Haneul on his lap. “Just watch okay.”
“Okay..”
Haneul didn’t understand anything they were talking about or why his dad sat at the back of the table with several other men in suits. His eyes wandered off of the man presenting and instead his eyes caught random things laid around the room.
Haneul started to whine, trying to slide down from his dad’s lap so he could freely walk around.
“I wanna play,” he mumbles pushing Jin’s hands away.
“Okay but behave, stay in here,” he whispers, letting go of Haneul.
Haneul breaks into a smile when he finally gets off of his dad. He immediately runs to the table up front and grabs a piece of paper and walks away with it.
“Pen pen,” he says walking by the employees and asking for a pen. One was nice enough to hand him a pen. Haneul giggles as he takes it, walking off and dropping onto the floor to doodle.
Jin quickly takes his eyes off of the presentation and his eyes wander around the room for his son.
When he finds him on the floor, his eyes grew wide.
“Y-YAH YAH!” he yells, surprising the one presenting and all the other employees present. “Haneul-ah!” Jin yells, picking up Haneul off of the floor, making him drop his pen. Haneul looks down at his masterpiece and smiles.
On the floor was a blank piece of paper.
And a bunch of doodles on the tiles.
Jin bends down to pick up the pen, which wasn’t actually a pen, but a fine point sharpie. And now his son’s doodles were permanently on the floor.
“Whose is this?” Jin asks, holding the pen up. One of the employees slowly raises their hand.
“Here,” Jin says, giving it back. He then went back to his seat in the back, placing Haneul on his lap.
“Here you go Haneul,” Yeonjun says, coming out from the back and giving the young one a pack of crayons and a coloring book.
“I’m sorry about that,” Jin says to everyone. “Please, continue.”

- “Daddy wet’s go to Auntie Sohu,” Haneul says, picking at the papers Jin was reading through.
“We already went yesterday, you have had enough sweets for the week,” Jin says mindlessly, flipping through the pages
“But I miss Auntie Sohu,” Haneul pouts.
“No you don’t, you miss her cupcakes,” Jin says. “Yeonjun can you send this over to Mr. Kang on floor 3?” He says , passing the papers to his secretary. Yeonjun nods, taking the paper from him and walking out.
“I want cupcakes,” Haneul mumbles, lightly kicking Jin’s table.
“No, you’ve had too much,” Jin says, leaning over to pick him up and place him on his lap. “We can have your favorite for dinner tonight, how about that huh?” Jin says, leaning down to place kisses onto his baby’s neck and cheeks. Haneul giggles, pushing his dad’s face away.
With two small hands on Jin’s cheeks, Haneul gives him a bIG PINCH. Squeezing with all his might.
“BUT I WANT CUUPPCAAKKEES!” Haneul yells. Jin’s face contorts in pain.
“Y-YYYYYAAAAAAAH!”

After answering his texts from you, Jin’s phone began to ring.
“Uncle I’m hungry,” Haneul pouts, pulling on Yeonjun’s hand. Yeonjun looked at Jin to ask if he wanted to eat but saw him on the phone so Yeonjun decided to take Haneul down to the cafeteria.
“Hyung,” Yeonjun whispers, Jin turns around and Yeonjun motions to the door and does an eating gesture with his right hand. Jin nods and tells them to go with his hand. Assuming that Jin understood what Yeonjun was trying to say, the two of them left.
“Okay let’s go eat.”

Jimin smiled, letting his razor sharp canines lengthen menacingly as he flowed back into a perfect combat stance.
“You didn’t think I’d just let you have her, did you?”
Namjoon scrambled drunkenly to his feet, still struggling to process the strange turn of events.
“What is this?” he hissed. “Are you enchanted?”
Jimin snarled at the insinuation.
“The circle would have killed me if I crossed its boundaries under a spell. You know that.”
He did know that.
Every fifty years or so a wolf got it into their head that the circle’s power was nothing more than a myth.
They always learned the hard way.
“Then… how?!”
The corner of Jimin’s lips twitched ever so slightly as he recalled years of discipline, training, frustration, pain-

“So… you can beat him… in human form?”
Jimin nodded slowly.
“Beating him isn’t the problem,” he muttered. “In order for me to win, Namjoon must surrender, which leaves only two possible options.”
Taehyung shifted uncomfortably.
“And they are?”
“… Either my alpha command is strong enough to compel a submission or-” his eyes dropped to his hands, “… or I have to kill him.”
The words lingered heavily between them. After a few moments Tae breathed out an incredulous snort.
“All this time… everyone believed you were torn up about dying,” he shook his head, “but this is what you’re afraid of, isn’t it?”
Taehyung met his solemn gaze with quiet understanding.
“That’s why you wouldn’t let your mother watch the fight. You don’t want to take his life, but if you have to…”
Jimin’s jaw clenched imperceptibly. When he spoke, his voice was barely above a whisper.
“I didn’t want her to see it.”

Centuries ago the moon goddess stumbled across her human soulmate while he was sleeping. Struck by his beauty, but reluctant to reveal her identity, the goddess began to visit him in his dreams where she could hide her true form and appear before him as a mortal woman.
In the world of dreams their love flourished and from that blessed union the packs were born…
The wolf nations celebrated this sacred romance every ten years during the Festival of the Lover’s Moon…
The day of the festival was spent eating and drinking and dancing at large parties, but when the sun went down… well—

On the night of Lover’s Moon the young unmated wolves of the pack were permitted to commemorate this legendary love story in a decidedly scandalous manner.
The unmated men assumed the role of the goddess’s sleeping lover—they were blindfolded (to represent slumber) and led into a large sectioned off area of the dark forest to ‘wait and dream.’
Unmated she-wolves over the age of maturity (eighteen) took herbal scent suppressors and ventured out into that very same forest in order to anonymously ‘visit’ the young men ‘in their dreams’…
The rules for what exactly that meant were pretty fast and loose which was why Min Yoongi was thanking the goddess and every other deity he could think of that Yunli was still seventeen.
“But I will be eighteen in two days! Please can’t I just—“
“No. Absolutely not under any circumstances ever.”
“But Yoonji is going!”
“Ji-ah is nearly nineteen and has never been interested in any of the snotty little man-pups of our pack.” He snorted. “She’s probably going out just so she can shove a bunch of them in the lake.”
“I wouldn’t count on it,” Yunli mumbled irritably.
Kim Taehyung yawned idly and snuggled into the cozy little pallet he prepared at the base of his favorite tree. The blindfold he and all the other unmated ‘lovers’ wore was made from witchcloth and could not be removed while the sun was down—so he had snuck into the forest earlier to set everything up.
Now all he had to do was wait until—
“H-Hi Taehyung.”
Oh sh—
“Uh. Hello…Miss.”
Taehyung didn’t recognize the owner of that voice, but he knew for sure who it wasn’t.
“I was hoping to find you tonight.”
This is not good.
“Well I’m—I’m flattered… naturally but—”
She touched his hand and he squeaked.
“I was thinking you and I might get to know each other a little bet—eep!”
The sharp point of a custom blade pressed directly into the unfortunate young beta girl’s pulse point.
“Are you lost, puppy?”
A heavy cloak obscured the newcomer’s features, but there was no mistaking her meaning.
Taehyung bit his lip to keep from snorting as the poor she-wolf scrambled away.
“Ji-ah,” he tsked with feigned disapproval, “that wasn’t very nice.”
Min Yoonji grinned as she sheathed her wicked looking dagger and slid languidly into his arms.
“You don’t like nice girls, Kim Taehyung.”
“I like you,” he whispered breathlessly against her lips. “Nice or not—it doesn’t matter to me…” His hands slid greedily over her soft curves—pulling her closer till he felt the beat of her heart against his own. “I’ll like anything as long as it’s you.”
This was the stupidest idea in the history of stupid ideas.
Jimin huffed as he struggled to find a comfortable position against the giant boulder he’d chosen as his perch.
Why did I let Taehyung talk me into this?
He could be at home—in bed—comfortably sleeping off the all-day feast he’d indulged in.
Instead he was out in the middle of the forest sitting blindfolded on a rock in the off chance that one of the she-wolves was out looking for him.
Not bloody likely.
Not when prime targets like Namjoon, Hoseok, Jungkook—and countless others—were scattered throughout the woods.

“Ji-ah is nearly nineteen and has never been interested in any of the snotty little man-pups of our pack.” He snorted. “She’s probably going out just so she can shove a bunch of them in the lake.”
“I wouldn’t count on it,” Yunli mumbled irritably.
Kim Taehyung yawned idly and snuggled into the cozy little pallet he prepared at the base of his favorite tree. The blindfold he and all the other unmated ‘lovers’ wore was made from witchcloth and could not be removed while the sun was down—so he had snuck into the forest earlier to set everything up.
Now all he had to do was wait until—
“H-Hi Taehyung.”
Oh sh—
“Uh. Hello…Miss.”
Taehyung didn’t recognize the owner of that voice, but he knew for sure who it wasn’t.
“I was hoping to find you tonight.”
This is not good.
“Well I’m—I’m flattered… naturally but—”
She touched his hand and he squeaked.
“I was thinking you and I might get to know each other a little bet—eep!”
The sharp point of a custom blade pressed directly into the unfortunate young beta girl’s pulse point.
“Are you lost, puppy?”
A heavy cloak obscured the newcomer’s features, but there was no mistaking her meaning.
Taehyung bit his lip to keep from snorting as the poor she-wolf scrambled away.
“Ji-ah,” he tsked with feigned disapproval, “that wasn’t very nice.”
Min Yoonji grinned as she sheathed her wicked looking dagger and slid languidly into his arms.
“You don’t like nice girls, Kim Taehyung.”
“I like you,” he whispered breathlessly against her lips. “Nice or not—it doesn’t matter to me…” His hands slid greedily over her soft curves—pulling her closer till he felt the beat of her heart against his own. “I’ll like anything as long as it’s you.”
This was the stupidest idea in the history of stupid ideas.
Jimin huffed as he struggled to find a comfortable position against the giant boulder he’d chosen as his perch.
Why did I let Taehyung talk me into this?
He could be at home—in bed—comfortably sleeping off the all-day feast he’d indulged in.
Instead he was out in the middle of the forest sitting blindfolded on a rock in the off chance that one of the she-wolves was out looking for him.
Not bloody likely.
Not when prime targets like Namjoon, Hoseok, Jungkook—and countless others—were scattered throughout the woods.

Ko insists on making tea.
You don’t have the heart to remind her that you don’t drink tea. You suppose she takes comfort in the ritual, in pretending for a few minutes that you’re a normal guest in her home under totally normal circumstances.
But if the action serves to soothe her nerves, it only makes yours more frayed.
You sit on the stiff couch in the living room for what feels like an eternity, looking out over her pictures and keepsakes. Your eyes lock on a framed photograph of Ko and her husband, young and tanned and smiling, holding matching tropical drinks against an equally tropical backdrop.
A much happier time.
Ko’s husband – her partner in all things – has been dead for more than a year now. And as you sit in this room filled with their shared memories, your heart breaks at the thought of your friend hiding out in here, alone.

I see what you’ve been up to, Min Yoongi, his face seemed to say. You’re not fooling me.
Jesus always won the staring contest.
So Yoongi would spend his entire week fucking around in the streets of Daegu – skipping class and sneaking cigarettes – but on Sunday, he’d have to sweat through a sermon, trying his hardest to avoid the knowing eyes of the Lord.

“Wakey wakey,” Jungkook says, about an inch away from your face. You slowly open your eyes, leaning in to give him a peck on the lips.
“Morning,” you mumbled, Jungkook scrunches his nose and pulls away, standing above you.
“You know, I was going to make this morning perfect since it’s our first day dropping off Sian at school together, as an ~engaged~ couple, and our first day of work… but you ruined it with that morning breath of yours,” he says, pinching his nose and closing his eyes. Dramatic much?
“I love you too,” you say sarcastically, ripping the duvet off of your body. “Did you make breakfast?” You say, sniffing the air. “It smells like… burnt pancakes.” He tilts his head at you and suddenly his eyes grow wide.
“S-SIAN,” he yells, running out of your room and to the kitchen. “I TOLD YOU TO WATCH IT.” You hear him yell.
“I DID!” You hear your son yell back.
“WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME IT WAS BURNING?” Jungkook yells back.
“YOU JUST SAID TO WATCH IT.” You stay there, at the edge of your bed, laughing at their conversation.
“BABE,” Jungkook yells from the kitchen, “THERE’S ONE GOOD PANCAKE. DO YOU WANT IT?” You shake your head, standing up and walking to where your boys were at.
“No it’s okay, you guys can share it,” you say, sitting with Sian at the counter.
“Rock, paper, scissors?” Sian says, smirking at his dad. Jungkook squints his eyes at him, quirking up an eyebrow.
“RockpaperscissorssHOOT,” Jungkook mumbles quickly, shooting up ‘scissors’. Sian laughs as he holds up ‘rock’.
“Thank youu~” your son says, taking the pancake from Jungkook.
“Ah.. that’s my boy,” you say, petting your son’s head. You look up at Jungkook and see him pouting.
“Go ahead and get ready,” you tell him. “I’ll make more pancakes.” Jungkook’s face lights up immediately.
“Ugh YES, best wifey ever!” He yells with joy, running around to give you a kiss on the cheek. “I’ll pay you back with something special later,” he whispers in your ear, flashing you with a little wink.

“Who’s picking me up later?” Sian asks you two as you and Jungkook stand in front of him by his classroom door.
“Both of us,” Jungkook answers. Sian’s face lights.
“You and Mommy?!” he yells.
“Yeah of course,” you say. “Since mommy works with Auntie Sohyun now and daddy works with Uncle Jin, we’re able to take enough time off to spend with you together.”
“But mommy what about your college?” Sian asks you, concerned about your own education. You let out a small laugh as you thought it was cute that he knew and cared about that.
“Remember when we went to live with grandma and grandpa? I did school at home right?” Sian nods. “Well I’m still doing that, so I’m doing online schooling.”
“YAY! We get to be together all the time!” Sian yells, raising his arms. You laugh, pulling him into a hug.
“We do. But for now, you’re going to class and we’re going to work,” you say. Jungkook kneels down to give him a hug next.
“Love you buddy, we’ll see you in a few hours okay?”
“Okay!”

You and Jungkook had an hour to spare before you had to start your first shift and before Jungkook had to meet up with Jin at his building. The two of you decided to stop by the convenient store to kill some time, and buy some snacks.
It was pretty cold out. You two had your hands in your pockets, but Jungkook didn’t let go of your hand and held your right hand in his pocket instead. He’s been super clingy lately.
You liked it.
“Is that Sungjae?” you ask. The two of you were walking to the front of the store when you saw Sungjae sitting on the tables at the front, drinking. “It’s seven in the morning..” you whisper to Jungkook.
Jungkook lets go of your hand and walked up to his old friend.
“Hey.. are you okay?” he asks. Sungjae, still holding onto his drink, turns and looks up to Jungkook. He laughs.
“Did you come here to rub it in my face?” he responds. You frown, standing behind Jungkook.
“No, we came here to buy snacks..” you say quietly.
“Well you were wrong about everything. A kid may change your life but I doubt it’s for the better,” he says, taking a big swig of his drink. You frown, you were confused. You turn to Jungkook to see if he knew what Sungjae was talking about and you watch his face turn from confused to a big smile.
“You and Yuri?” Jungkook says. “I would have never seen that coming.”
“What?” You ask, turning to Jungkook.
“Yuri is pregnant,” he says. Your eyes grow wide.
“Shut up.”
Sungjae rolls his eyes. “Go ahead and rub it in my face–”
“Oh.. um, Sungjae,” you say, “I know how you all feel about me.. But just know.. That this sounds sucky right now because it wasn’t in your plan, but it’s going to be the best thing eve–”
“Shut up,” he groans. Your eyes widen in surprise. “I don’t want to hear all that dramatic stuff okay? It’s my life, don’t butt in.”
Your face drops and you turn away, Jungkook notices and he felt his face heating up.
“Look, Yn is just trying to help you feel better. We went through this too. You know that. You know, we’re willing to help you and Yuri start out if you need it just like how our friends helped us,” Jungkook tells him. “But if you’re going to despise my family no matter what, we won’t bother you again. My family does nothing to make you hate them but you continue to hurt them with your words and push them away without a second thought.” Jungkook sighs, taking his hand out of his pocket to grab yours. “Maybe this baby will give you the love you’re clearly lacking. Good luck with your life.” Jungkook turns away to walk inside the store, dragging you behind him when Sungjae laughs.
“Before you think about mines, worry about yours,” he says. “Keep calling yourselves the perfect family. I don’t see a ring on her finger.” You smirk to yourself, taking your left hand out of your pocket and showing him your gorgeous ring. Sungjae furrows his brows at the sight of your diamond.
“Don’t expect a wedding invitation,” you say, making Jungkook laugh as you two finally make your way into the store.

“So Yuri and Sungjae huh,” you say, before biting into your kimbap. “Would have never seen that coming.” Jungkook nods, chewing on his. The two of you were in the car, in the bakery parking lot. There was still 15 minutes to spare.
“I didn’t either. But I could care less about them,” he says, taking another bite. You turn to him.
“So you’re really over them this time?” You ask, he nods. “What if we bump into them a few years from now?” Jungkook laughs.
“If I hit Yuri with my cart again, I’ll say ‘sorry ma’am I didn’t see you there’ and go about my way,” he answers. “They were good friends when we were younger, but I have to move on. If I want a good future for my family, I have to keep moving forward. I can’t do that with my friends that’s stuck in the past.” You smile at his answer.
“Wow, you sound… really mature.. It’s kind of weird,” you say, making Jungkook laugh.
“I have a son, a lovely fiancée, and I work for a big company now,” he answers. “I’m a big boy, I should act like one.”
“I like that,” you say, smiling up at him, “but I also like the child at heart Jungkook so don’t go changing too much.”
“Hey I’m the same JK, just more responsible,” he says, with a little wink. He leans into you and you think he’s going in for a kiss, but he passes your lips and leans into your ear instead.
“Make sure you sneak out some cookies for me and Sian,” he whispers. You roll your eyes, pushing him away.
“Whatever Jeon, I don’t think your Yoongi hyung will like that,” you say.
“Maybe he won’t, but I’m sure noona will be okay with it.”
You shake your head, smiling, this is really going to be the man you marry.

“What’s going on?” you ask him.
Come to think of it, no one was in the living room. Are they all in Sian’s room with the kids?
“Hey, confused?” Yuna laughs, walking up to you with her hands behind her back. She stands next to Jimin and both of them are smiling at you in a way that was freaking you out… but also kind of endearing?
“A little, is it obvious?” you joke. Yuna laughs, coming up to hug you.
“I’m so happy for you,” she says with her arms around you.
“Thank you.. But why?” you say, raising your arm to hug her back but she pulls away.
“Please don’t tell me you’re as oblivious as him,” Jimin says. “Your wish is finally coming true. It’s finally your turn.”
“You guys are driving me nuts,” you say. You were starting to get emotional actually but you didn’t want to show your friends that. You can tell what was going on, at least you hope that it’s what you’re thinking. You weren’t going to shed a tear unless you know for sure.
Yuna winks at you and hands you the flower, the two then suddenly walk away, passing Taehyung and Bora.
“You know already what’s going on don’t you?” Taehyung asks you. There was a big smile on his face when he came up to hug you, handing you the flower after.
“I don’t know, I’m not sure… I think I do,” you say, making the two laugh. You laugh along nervously, your heart beats faster each time you receive a flower.
“I know we haven’t known each other for too long,” Bora tells you, “but I’m really honored to be a part of your special moment.” You pout at her, the tears threatening to spill as she leans in for a hug.
“Here’s another,” she says, handing you the flower.
“We’ll see you later,” Taehyung says, wrapping his arm around Bora’s shoulder and turning to disappear back into the hallway.
When the two are out of sight, Namjoon and Byul appear next.
“Looks like your hands are full,” Byul laughs, running up to you to give you a big hug. “I’m so excited for you,” she says all giddy.
“You better keep good care of these flowers Yn, they’re so beautiful,” Namjoon says, handing you another. “Just like you,” he tells you, before wrapping an arm around you and pressing a kiss to the top of your head. With each friend, the tears became harder and harder to hold in. “Our little sister’s finally getting her fairytale ending.”
“Here’s to another exciting year!” Byul says, with that, the couple turns and crosses another couple in the hallway.
“Jungkook kept his word, he said he’d be the next one to get married after us,” Hoseok tells you, with a wide smile. Both him and Sarang handed you a flower. The tears have fallen at this point.
“I’m so happy for you baby,” Sarang says, the two hugged you together tightly. “This is it!”
When they pulled away, for some reason the tears fell harder.
“Aigoo,” Hoseok says, bringing a hand to your head and petting your head. Sarang giggles, going in for a second hug and hugging you tighter.
“Save the tears, there’s more people coming,” she winks as she pulls away and the two held hands as they skipped into the hallway.
“Remember how I came to the group around the time of Jimin and Yuna’s wedding?” Sohyun says as she walked out of the hallway dragging Yoongi behind her, “then Hobi and Sarang got married… well… now it’s finally your turn!” You laugh as she leans in for a hug. “Maybe I’ll be next,” she whispers, giggling into your ear.
“What’d she say?” Yoongi asks you, you shrug in response. He hands you the flowers and so does Sohyun. This time, he was the one to lean in and whisper into your ear.
“It’s not too late to run,” he says, Sohyun gasps, pulling him away from you.
“Don’t listen to him,” she says, Yoongi flashes his gummy smile at you.
“No but seriously, I’m really happy and proud of you guys. I’m glad this is ending the way it is,” he says. “I’ll do my whole big speech thing at your wedding,” he says quickly turning around and walking away. Sohyun glares at him from behind but she turns to you, holding two fists up and mouthing ‘fighting!’. You giggle at her, wiping your cheeks as the next couple walks in.
“Finally,” Jin says as he and Mae walk out next.
“Finally that you guys are the last one to see me?” You say, arms full of flowers.
“Finally as in you’re finally getting what you want,” Mae says, hugging you. “See when you thought your plans were falling apart they were really just falling into place.”
“I can’t believe the maknae of the group is about to get asked the big question,” Jin says, joining in and wrapping his arms around the two of you. “I still remember when Mae and I first met you, back at my parent’s house when Minseok was just over a year old. Time flies, doesn’t it?”
“It sure does,” Mae says.
When she pulled away, she also had tears streaming down her face when she looked at you. Jin laughs at the sight of you two girls and takes a small pack of tissues out of his pocket, ignoring the fact that his eyes were watery too.
He takes two tissues out and hands one to his wife while the other he dabs on your cheek. Since you weren’t able to with one hand already around Mae and the other was holding the flowers.
Putting the kids aside, you were the group’s little girl. Being the youngest out of everyone. You’ve matured the fastest since you became a mom at an early age, but that aside, you were still the baby of the group. They’ve seen you as young as 18-19 years old. They practically raised you.
“Before your prince charming arrives, we have a little surprise for you,” Mae says, pulling away. The two walked over to the light switch, switching off all the lights, leaving you in the dark.
You hear some footsteps and all of a sudden, the light in the living room, and just that, turns on.
A gasp escapes your lips.
Both your parents and Jungkook’s parents stood around the coffee table.
You were standing so long in that spot where everyone approached you that your legs felt weak as you walked up to them.
“You guys are here,” you say, covering your mouth as the rest of your tears spilled out. Your dad was the first to come up to you and hug you, and you let everything out onto his chest. Your mom came around not too long after to hug you. And next, Jungkook’s parents.
As yours and Jungkook’s parents talked to you, sparing some words of wisdom and old memories, your friends were behind you preparing the next surprise without you knowing.
This is possibly the quietest they have ever been.

“I think it’s finally time, turn around,” your dad says. Okay well now more tears came out of your eyes as you met all twelve of your best friends face to face.
Twelve.

“We have a problem,” Taehyung says, your heart skips a beat.
“What is it?” You ask, mid sniffle.
“We’re missing someone.”
“Jungkook’s not here,” Bora answers, fidgeting with her fingers.
Your mouth opens to say something but no words came out.
“But you might want to follow this trail of flower petals to find him,” Yoongi says, and at the same time, they all step aside and a trail of petals leading out the door appeared.
You look up at them in question and they shrug.
“Go on,” your mom says, pushing you towards the door.
You start walking past everyone, hugging the bouquet to your chest and staring at the flowers on the floor.
“Honey you might want to—“ your mom says as you walk into your door.
“Ow,” you let out, your friends laugh behind you as your mom sighs.
“You might want to open the door…”
As you walk out the, now open, door, the flower petals led to the stairs that led to the rooftop of your building.
Carefully, you quickly went up the stairs, your heart beating even quicker.
Stepping up the last step you were surprised to see Sian standing in front of you.
“Hi mommy,” he says, holding out his hand for you to take. “Come with me I’ll lead you to daddy.” You were about to start crying again as he seemed so much older when he said this. Being a gentleman and all as he led you to the otherside of the rooftop, where Jungkook stood, looking over the city.
Sian stopped midway and turned to you, pulling your hand, making you lean over to his height.
“I’ll leave you two now, I love you mommy,” he says smiling up at you.
“I love you,” you say. Sian stands on his toes to give you a kiss on the cheek, then whispering a ‘good luck’ before running off and back towards the staircase where you now see Taehyung at. You waited to see Taehyung hold Sian’s hand and disappear before turning to Jungkook.
You hold onto the bouquet with both hands now as you walk beside him.
You two stood there in silence as you watched the busy streets below.
“We stood here about 5 years ago when Sian was still a baby,” Jungkook says, he doesn’t look at you just yet but you turn your head towards him.
“Jin hyung and noona were in our apartment. We just moved in and we were both exhausted. Sian was a few months old and Jin hyung said that we should get some fresh air and not to worry because they’ll both watch Sian for us. I laughed and told him, ‘Fresh air? In Seoul? I’m good’ and you said thank you and grabbed my arm and dragged me up here. We were just starting our 20s and yet we stood here on top of the city, having our own apartment together and our first child. The sun was setting at that time and we stood here, watching the sunset and planning our future. We didn’t plan it well, but we said we’ll get Sian a dog when we get our own house, but first we’ll get married and maybe have a daughter next. It was either a second kid or a dog, whichever wanted to come into our life first. But to get any of that we needed a job, a good one because we just had enough for Sian at the time. Now we’re in our mid 20s. The sun is already set and the stars and the moon are out. We don’t have our own house, we don’t have another child, and we don’t have a dog. We’re not even married yet.” Jungkook turns to you and his eyes are watery. You smile up at him and he smiles back, but right when he does a tear slips out and runs down his cheek.
“Do you know what kind of flowers those are,” Jungkook asks, pointing to the bouquet you were holding.
“Your birth flower, Tiger Lilies,” you say, looking down at them.
“You remember the meaning of them right?”
You nod your head up at him. “Please love me.”
He nods at you, looking down and wiping his eyes before he looks back up into yours.
“I know I haven’t been the perfect boyfriend. And we still have a lot to learn and figure out about parenthood, our relationship, and even ourselves…” He finally takes out a small box out of his pocket and gets down on one knee.
“But we can figure out together and learn along the way. I might not have been a perfect boyfriend, but if you say yes, maybe I can be the perfect husband for you.” Finally, he opens up the small box and you see the most beautiful ring you could have ever been given.
“Please love me forever and marry me Yn.”
Of course you said yes.
