I've see a lot of people taking about Jeans prospective of Andrew hauling ass to get to neil to save him. People saying that he can tell that Riko was going to hit Neil because he's been in foster homes and such but I just know that Andrew took one look at Neil and Riko together and was like yup he's gonna run his mouth shit shit š shit š shit š
If Peeta hadnāt been captured Mockingjay wouldāve had quite a juxtaposition because in between all the war and destruction, we could have the comedy of Katniss and Peeta acting like a married couple but thinking they were ājust friendsā.
Katniss: yeah, Iām going to sleep with him every night but weāre just really close friends
Peeta: yeah, we kissed over and over when she woke up from being shot but sheās not in love with me
Katniss: yeah, we talk in meetings like a unit and walk in and out of them holding hands but weāre just a very good team
Peeta: yeah, I flirted and danced with her at the wedding but thatās just my natural response to being in her proximity
Katniss: yeah Gale I just donāt want a romantic relationship, no thatās not a hickey
Maddie: you need to make new friends
Buck: I slept with my ex
Maddie: please learn to be alone
Matthias and Wylan r literally best friends. Like nooo I pinky promise they interacted a ton like ur just remembering wrong theyāre literally besties wdym

I've seen so many posts about aai being like "look Edgeworth's bluffing he learned so much from Phoenix!!" But Phoenix learned everything from Mia and Mia learned everything from Godot so I love the implication of Godot's entire legacy being "lie, be dramatic, and commit to the bit" which is exactly what he does every single second he's onscreen.

I'm still not over this in any way, shape, or form. Like, firstly, what would he have done if she told him no?
But also, can you imagine this from Cat's pov? This ex-raven, who everyone thinks is going to be this huge problem, is actually one of the most gentle souls you could ever meet. He punched your girlfriend hard enough to make her bleed, but it was an accident triggered by touching him without warning at the wrong moment. Despite this, he immediately submit to the idea of being punished, and apologises when you ask it of him. And the longer you live with him, the more you learn of the horrors that mar his past ā The scars, the lack of autonomy, the rape ā But he still cares enough to ask about the safety of your friend? It wasn't his business, but he had to ask. No one cared enough to protect him in the past, but he still has it in him to care for someone he doesn't really know.
And I love so much that she answers him seriously. She wants him to know that Cody is safe, of course, but she really needs him to know that she wouldn't just allow them to be unsafe like that. She wouldn't be so heartless to tease them if they were in danger. She has a good idea of a lot of the things that went down with Jean and the Ravens, and she needs him to know that things are different with the Trojans. Even if he doesn't trust them yet, she'll say it as much as he needs.
Despite everything, Jean is a good man, and I reckon she'll say that as many times as he needs, too.
just a loser who simps over fictional characters. pronouns she/he/they. agender and asexual
