Little intro to me: I'm Remi, I'm about to get my Wildlife degree, and I'm pursuing my Master's and Doctorate degrees in Entomology! I spend a lot of my time studying, hiking, and drawing.

i should be studying but all i want to do is draw birds 😭😭
more tracing than drawing, but i did a fun little exercise with some arkansas native critters using negative space! (all are tracings of photos off google, they’re easy to find if you google the species.)
i was heavily inspired by @hoorayitsefe on instagram! she did a cute fish and flower one and inspired me to do the sort of scratch paper design. i definitely needed something to turn my brain off a bit and relax and this is so fun, might be adding more of these in the future 👀
my friend planted the thought in my head that Atlantisia almost sounds like a lullaby of some sort, and I got the thought of "this song is for you and the OCs who have watched you grow up/grown up with you" and now I'm incredibly sad
