Winter Break 24' Goals
My winter break is quickly approaching as the fall semester is coming to an end. I will be getting time off work as well, due to the semester ending, so that gives me about ~5 weeks to basically do whatever I want! Which I am so excited about <3
Here are some goals I am going to accomplish over this long, much needed break:
learn + practice more crochet 🧶(I can do a chain, but a single crochet is difficult for me right now)
workout at the gym 3-5x a week 🏋♀️
begin running again 🏃♀️ (I'm taking a running class next semester, so I want to prepare myself for it)
study japanese 3-5 days a week + take 2-3 italki lessons 🌸 (I'm also taking a Japanese class next semester so I want to know more than the basics)
study Spanish 2 days a week minimum 🇲🇽 (another language I know a little bit of but want to get better at)
complete watching 2-4 unfinished anime 💻 series (I always stop with a few episodes to go, need to break that habit)
consistent self care + begin a few healthy, consistent habits 🎀 (meditation, journaling, skincare morning + night, stretching, etc)
visit my boyfriend ❤️ (aiming to do so in early January!)
start drawing or at the very least, coloring, again ✏️ (very fun, very creative, very stress relieving, but I won't be mad if I don't hold myself to this)
meal prep 2x a week for lunches and dinners 🥗
on that note, learn a couple new recipes for lunches and dinners! 🍜
finish reading two books at minimum, three if I really work at it 📚 (going to finish What Alice Forgot, then going to move on to Girl In Pieces and If He Had Been With Me [or No Longer Human])
I will truly begin these on December 13th, and begin my daily updates soon too. Will Reblog this around Jaunary 13th to see what I actually did!
what are your guys goals for the winter?

I’m going to definitely try to accomplish everything I have planned for tomorrow, I think it’ll make me feel better to get so much done. Most of my homework isn’t actually due until Sunday evening or Monday evening but I figure getting it done earlier will be better for when I get off work this weekend. I’m hoping to catch up and work ahead on stuff a little bit so that way I’m not struggling next weekend. I’m actually going to go see my boyfriend next weekend for about three full days, which I’m excited for because I haven’t seen him in person in three months. (Thank you 1000+ miles of distance haha)
that’s all for now!

Daily Check-in - July 26 2023 🎀
I am so exhausted right now. This heat and my job are making me worn out, but I need the 5 I need to push through these next few days. I woke up late this morning, so I didn't have much for my morning routine besides making my bed and a cup of coffee. I got off work today and have been on the verge of sleep ever since, so my night routine was also incomplete tonight. I apologize for the inconsistencies in my habits these first few days. I'm just trying to get a hang of my work days and my routines. Finding a balance is difficult but necessary right now. I got this though, I believe in myself!!
🩷 What I Ate Today:
Breakfast - One slice of toast with mashed avocado, a sprinkle of paprika, a fried egg on 5 a side of watermelon. Of course, I had my usual morning cup of coffee!
Lunch - A small serving of spaghetti with marinara, grated parmesean cheese, a small bag of grapes given to me by a friend, and one babybel cheese.
Dinner - Ten boiled chicken potstickers with some potsticker sauce and three babybel cheeses.
Other - I drank one bottle of water containing a dissolved electrolyte tablet to rehydrate while at work, and had a second cup of coffee after work
Snacks - a quesadilla on a low carb tortilla
It was not the best day for me food wise, but the exhaustion is getting me to the point where I'm trying to eat to gain some energy, but it's only working against me right now. I think I'm going to eat yogurt for lunch tomorrow since I'll get off work early due to a weekly therapy appointment.
🩷 Workout - INCOMPLETE
Today was supposed to be a fun kpop dance cardio morning but due to waking up late and the constant and persistent fatigue, that did not happen. I will get back on track tomorrow with my scheduled workout routine.
🩷 Habits I Completed Today:
I made my bed today, and that is about it for the goals I wanted to achieve. Some days are going to be harder than others, and I expect that, so I am not going to beat myself up over one bad day. I was only capable of existing today, and sometimes existing is all we need to do until the next day comes.
🩷 Song of The Day: I Am - Baby Tate ft. Flo Milli
Thos song (and a lot of water) is the only thing that got me through work today. For me this is my ultimate manifestation song. I love the lyrics the music, the meaning. This is a new daily morning song for me!
Today was a bit underwhelming, but as I said before, all I was able to do was exist today. My energy was not there. The brain fog was intense, and even as I type this, I am fighting the urge to fall asleep. Tomorrow will be a better day for me. I found two meditation videos for morning and night that I plan to incorporate, and I will continue with my journey as planned, adapting to the situations I face as they come up.
Also, my skincare came in!! I'm so excited!!!
Thank you, lovelies!!! I believe in myself and I believe in you all! Let continue on the path to our higher selves, in whatever way that is for us, and continue to be compassionate and flexible with our constantly changing circumstances!
Til next time!!!
To Do Today 9/28/24
I was supposed to work a long double shift today at my normal job and then a kinda side job task that involves talking to a ton of people and being out late at night. I've decided I'm going to tell my bosses I can't do it, because the anxiety I've felt about doing it has made me thrown up already 😅
so here's the stuff I am going to do today:
pre lab 24 chemistry
pre lab 25 chemistry
chemistry lecture quiz
catch up on chem lecture notes
catch up on psyc lecture notes
catch up on accounting lecture notes
complete other intro to business assignments
study japanese
study for TEAS exam
It sounds like a lot, but honestly, it should not take me all night to do all these things so I'll be fine, as long as I get then done!
see you in the update later, lovelies 🩷

I love this!!! It's such a cute guide to wonyoungism, and it's super helpful for people starting out with this kind of aesthetic lifestyle !!
🩷🩷🩷🩷
wonyoungism is inspired by jang wonyoung and mixes a coquette, cute, pink pilates princess style with self improvement to help us become the best and healthiest versions of ourselves!
ways to express wonyoungism
have a morning routine
a morning routine helps set the tone for the rest of your day. while you can include whatever you want, typical wonyoungism morning routines include waking up early, stretching, skincare, drinking tea or lemon water, and doing your makeup and hair. do what works for you and makes you feel the best!
take care of your skin
research your skin type and find what products and routines will work best for you. no need for fancy or expensive products! in my experience, minimalism works best for my skin. a good cleanser and moisturizer are key, but you can also include things like toner, exfoliating scrubs, night cream, eye cream, and serums if you need or want them. wonyoung is an ambassador for innisfree skincare products, like these:
have a nutritious, balanced diet
having a nutritious diet keeps you healthy and energized, helps your skin and hair, makes you feel good, and has so many other benefits! focus on getting your daily servings of fruit and veggies and getting your protein and other nutrients and vitamins in, but don’t restrict yourself to the point of bad mental health. here’s a good chart to start with!
find a daily exercise regimen
most workouts you’ll find with wonyoungism are pilates, walking, and yoga (which i highly recommend!) but find a workout plan that YOU like! there are so many different types of workouts out there, and you shouldn’t force yourself to do something you hate. try out different things and figure out what works best for you. if you do want to practice pilates and yoga, here are some good channels on youtube:
move with nicole
dansique fitness
yoga with kassandra
eleni fit
sanne vloet
bailey brown
implement productive habits into your day
instead of mindlessly scrolling in your free time, try to implement productive and healthy activities. these things can include:
working out or stretching
drawing or painting
researching something that interests you
learn a new skill or a new language
read
write short stories
make a new playlist
go outside/go for a walk/spend time in nature
journal
make a vision board
be kind to yourself
sounds self explanatory, but it can be so much harder than it sounds for some of us. it may take some time, but realize that you are only human and you are doing the best you can. it’s okay to not feel as healthy or happy as you think you should, but you are absolutely valid and it is okay to be gentle with yourself. you are the only you there will ever be, embrace being you!
have an evening routine
evening/night routines are important because it closes out your day and gets you ready for a good nights sleep. it’s so helpful to have an evening routine that helps you wind down and get relaxed mentally and physically. this can include whatever makes you feel calm and happy, but it can also include things like stretching, lighting a candle, skincare, reading, meditation, and drinking a warm drink like tea!
Updated* Current Goals/Habits I Wish To Achieve 🎀
I have added and removed some daily goals and habits from my first posted list, so I thought I’d post an updated list of my goals and habits!
Workout 20+ Minutes Daily
Daily walks OR 10,000 steps a day
Drink 100oz of water daily
Read 30+ min or 10+ pages daily
Skincare routine AM and PM
Journal AM and PM
Make bed every morning
Study a language 10+ minutes daily
Sleep 6 - 8 hours nightly
Practice a hobby 10+ minutes daily
The two languages I am currently focusing on studying are Spanish and Japanese, the two languages I love the most. Once I get more comfortable with Japanese, I do plan on picking up Korean, as that is my third favorite. I used to self study Japanese for two years and even took a university Japanese class but had to stop and haven’t picked it up. Spanish is useful for where I live and I also think it is a beautiful language, and I’ve taken university classes for Spanish but due to my personal situations at the time, I wasn’t successful in those classes. I do currently have my Japanese textbook from my previous class as well as two Spanish textbooks from my previous classes.
Some hobbies I am trying to get back into is drawing and reading, and I am looking into starting some other hobbies such as crochet, cooking, scrapbooking/bullet journaling, painting, photography, learning sign language, and as I mentioned, language learning,
If anyone has any language learning (self study) tips or resources, tips and resources for any of the mentioned hobbies, or any general motivation or encouragement you want to share, please feel free! It would be greatly appreciated!
I know realistically I will not accomplish everything I listed every single day but the goal ultimately is to make an honest effort and keep my priorities in line with my daily actions. I am going to consistently work on myself and guide my daily routines towards progress and productivity while still giving myself the rest and recovery I need.
Thank you all!
Til next time, lovelies! 🩷🤍

So far I'm on the right track! I'm not sure if listing out actual goals is going to be the most beneficial as I don't want to shame myself into feeling guilty for not completing them, but maybe I'll have one goal per area and then update on everything I've completed within that area? I feel like that'd be a good idea!
I love receiving DMs from other blogs telling me how motivational and inspiring I am! it makes me happy every day. I am so happy when I read those messages. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I love the community I've found here on tumblr. You guys are amazing.
