Didn't want to hijack this post, but the family aspect of the Flash stories is one of the things that really means a lot to me.

Yesterday I talked about how Batman drew me in when I was younger, but how as an adult, the Flash is way more my speed (lol). There are a ton of comparisons to be made between the two fams, and I love how they can really be meaningful counterpoints to each other.

For me personally, these both really hit home. I'm adopted from a different country, which means I don't look like my family. Im not related by blood. I came from a relatively poor background. But I was so fortunate to be taken in by them and accepted for who I was. And never, ever judged or made to feel different!! It almost feels like a miracle.

And the thing about batfam vs flashfam is that acceptance part.

The way I see it, Bruce definitely has acceptance and love for all the kids he's worked with over the years, but theyve had to earn it, and he has a hard time showing it. His standards are at times painfully high and there will always be a part of his heart that is emotionally blocked.

For the various flash characters, there's not really any kind of family head. Approval isn't strictly required bc the acceptance of each other is already implicit. Even when they dont get along or have differing views, theres still so much love for each other. Theres a lot more i could say about this, but i think the previous post rly captured it.

So anyway, i def didnt mean this to get so long. Im just really feeling the found family in this DC fandom Applebees tonight.

I swear, one day I will become a comic author for DC comics and I will wright a solo comics just for Thadd !

So, they're forming a 'lil group of misfit character, each of them having a reason to leave their home !

Sept doesn't know how to sing, Divi can't perform in front of people, Rythme hates crowds, Icey's tone deaf and Firefly's mute. Their differences are what bring them together and made them a found family !

Oh, and they also meet way before the event of the second movie, so they weren't very happy about hanging around trolls of other tribes at first.

I also wanted to include a classic troll, but I don't have many ideas for their design so maybe later...

I've got into X-Men recently, so obviously my brain decides to create a dozen OCs ! And here's one of them !

They're technically not the first I've created, but they're the first I've drawn ! They're name is Flo, they're a half-dragon mutant who can breath rain clouds instead of fire and can control water (mostly fresh water, but it also work with salt water) !

I'm still thinking about their hero name, don't hesitate to propose any ideas if you want ! For now, I was thinking about : Rainmaker, Dragon, Rainfall, Flow or Raincloud
