It was a normal sunny day, you, of course, woke up to an empty bed, Hawks already long gone.

'Guess it's time to get up"  you thought as the clock by your bed blinked '1:30pm'  in a bright fluorescent green light.

"That's the last time I let Dabi recommend fanfiction to me" you grumbled, the angsty romance fic recommended by the burnt man having kept you up almost all night.

"What to eat, maybe......no" you looked through the kitchen nothing catching your eye. "Maybe if I just....." you mumbled climbing up onto the counters to look into higher-up cabinets 

"HOLY SHIT!" you yelled falling from your place on the counter as the phone rang loudly, breaking the silence and startling you. 

Any, of course, by the time you got to the phone it had stopped ringing.

"Man, fuck you phone, you're supposed to ring longer than 5 seconds" you groaned calling the number back. 

It was the hospital.

"oh my god, again? Seriously?" you groaned waiting for someone to answer.

Turns out, Hawks had quite the eventful night, stopping petty crimes here and there just to slip and break an ankle in a 7-Eleven of all places.

So now, instead of finding some food or fixing what you already know will inevitably turn into a nasty bruise from falling off the counter, you have to go pick up your husband from the hospital. Great.

-Time Skip: At The Hospital-

"Are you serious" You sweatdropped as the red-winged hero recalled the day's event's to you, full of excitement similar to that of a young child wanting their parents to hang up the picture they drew on the fridge.

"....And then the cashier let me have the candy for FREE!" he excitedly pointed to a bag of gummy worms on a small table beside him.

"Okay, good for you, the doctor said you suffered from a proximal tibia fracture. And I called Endeavor, you have four and a half months of paid leave" you sighed looking over the clipboard at the foot of his bed.

'Yes!" he cheered as you rose a brow at him "Really? You injured your fuckin ankle, just for some time off work?" you questioned exhaustedly 

"Well duh, now I get to stay home with you!" he cheered as a nurse came In to discharge him 

"yeah at home, in bed, while I'm at work" you smirked as you guys made it into the car.

"FUCK!"

Nobody's POV

“So what do we do now?” your purple-haired boyfriend sighed leaning against a wall.

“I dunno, we could play UNO or something” you shrugged bored, a few hours ago you see, the both of you had been kidnapped.

Did they lure you with cute animals? Maybe

-Flashback-

Y/n was walking down the sidewalk when a van pulled up beside them. “Hey, you wanna come  look at some puppies?” a woman asked from the driver's side window piquing their curiosity.

“Puppies? Sorry I would like to but I have to get home” you apologized knowing that you and Shinsou had plans that evening. 

“You sure? Their really adorable puppies” The lady persisted as you thought about it “hmmm, alrighty” you shrugged again wanting to see how cute these puppies really are, so you settled between the lady and a big dude that low-key looked like Larry the Cable guy.

“Do you guys think we could swing by my place to pick up my boyfriend though?” you asked innocently as tey snickered lightly, 

“oh yeah sure,” the man said amused “yeah ‘it’s no problem, the more the merrier” the woman laughed.

And off you three went to kidnap your poor boyfriend.

-Flashback Over-

“At least we got to see the puppies” you laughed, and you weren’t wrong exactly since they did let you play with five different puppies and a small black cat before locking the two of you up in a storage room. 

“Really y/n that’s what you’re thinking about? We literally got kidnapped” the purple-haired male laughed lightly as you rummaged through the boxes for something to cure your boredom before gasping.

“We’re saved!” you shouted having found many items among the boxes but none more important to you than what you had clutched in your hand

“No- we’re not saved, you just found duct tape” Shinsou sighed rolling his eyes “duct tape, being saved, it’s the same thing” you shrugged your shoulders.

“.....Is it really though?” the man narrowed his eyes at you only slightly amused at this point.

“No, it’s really not” The third voice sighed suddenly on the other side of the door as a large crashing sound rang occurred, causing the locked door to fall completely off it’s hinges revealing a clearly tired Aizawa.

It was fine though since he was used to this happening since you seemed to get kidnapped at least six times a day “Let’s go” as so, ya’ll go home and Aizawa locked you in your room for the next fifteen hours to make sure you didn’t get kidnapped for a little bit.

“Tsu come here!” A Child with h/c hair yelled towards their friend.

“Hold on kero” the green-haired girl called trying to arrange her Tinkerbell tea set perfectly on a small wooden table.

“Tsuuu! Hurry I found a butterfly! Y/n shouted excitedly “really?” she tilted her head with no more time to ask questions as Y/n had already run out of patience “you gotta come see it!” they yelled dragging Tsu by the hand.

As they dragged the girl through a small barrier of bushes and into a small clearing of wildflowers “wow it’s so pretty here kero” Tsu stated as she gazed upon the field full of glass-winged butterflies her friend had dragged her to.

“Ooooo Tsu look one landed on my head!” Y/n giggled trying to stay as still as possible “don’t move kero, I’ll get it off” Tsu smiled sticking her tongue out a little as she thought of a solution to move the butterfly.

But then she smiled plucking a flower out of the ground in hopes it would be more appealing to the butterfly than her friend's head. Her plan was in vain as a second butterfly came and landed on the flower.

“Well, that didn’t work kero” both the children giggled as they spent the remainder of the afternoon playing among the butterflies.

-Time Skip-

It had been many years since that wonderful day, and the two children had grown side by side eventually one thing lead to another and they ended up together. Partners on the battlefield and after-hours.

Though as it seemed to go for all UA students things never go as planned, even after graduating many years ago.

“Where is it kero?” Tsu muttered to herself, searching through the small forest behind her childhood home. She had been searching for that very same field, for months, her days off though few were spent walking through the now overgrown terrain she and y/n used to play in.

“It has to be here “ she kept talking to herself wondering if she was ever gonna find it.

But then, there it was the very same field from that blissful afternoon spent amongst the butterflies.

“I found it Kero…” the hero muttered to herself, tears welling up as she carefully walked over the bush barrier that seemed to triple its size. 

She ran into the field, scaring off a few butterflies though they never went far. “I found it” she sighed settling into the grass, still as green as it was before, and still overrun with butterflies though now amongst the beautiful glass-winged butterflies from before was a moth.

“We did it Y/n, we found the field” she whispered to herself as the moth came to perch on the hero’s head, just as the butterfly had landed on y/n all those years ago.

Y/n had died almost a year ago today, in a battle that they won at the cost of their own life and saved thousands, but there was nobody, not even Tsu herself that could save y/n from the death that quickly followed.

And so the frog hero sat, reminiscing on and on in the field, and she continued to do so for many years.

“You did it” a person with h/c hair smiled watching the scene with a sad smile before fading, becoming one with the wind.

Kirishima had dragged Bakugou out a little over four and a half hours ago and though you missed him you weren’t exactly ready for him to return yet, your nerves where all over the place as your classmates helped to hang decorations as you laid out the gifts Mitsuki had helped you and his friends to purchase by going through her sons room and finding out what he could possibly enjoy

“Relax y/n, I’m sure he’ll like everything, mainly because you planned it, but we don’t talk about that part” Midoriya patted you on the back before continuing to direct people and help out where needed.

You had to stand there for a moment, slightly overwhelmed by everything that was happening around you, you were excited yes but your senses were still struggling to handle everything as fast as you needed it to.

“I’m gonna go up to my room for a second!” you called out to the green haired boy as he attempted to assist Iida in hanging a banner “Okay We’ve got everything handled here!” he responded not looking at you as you sped walked up to your room to try and settle yourself.

You got there much quicker than you yourself had expected and laid on your bed, before reaching over and putting on the headphones that Katsuki had bought you knowing how overstimulating things could get around school.

‘I'll just lay in here for a minute’ you thought to yourself but the comfort of your bed, and the way they seemed to envelope you in the familiar scent of your boyfriends body wash as he had stayed the night with you many times before the sheets seeming to cling desperately to the smell as it combined with the comfort of your bed to lull you to sleep.

“Go back to sleep dumbass” The voice of your boyfriend whispered from behind you as he pulled you into him, “but what about the par-” you began to ask sitting up as he pulled you back down “it’s already over dummy” his gruff voice laughed 

“Really? I slept through it?!” you panicked as he laughed even more “yep, stupid Deku told me about your sneaky ass party planning but non of them had seen you” he explained 

“They should’ve woken me up” you huffed getting comfortable in your bed once more feeling guilty that you had slept through an event you had planned in the first place.

“I woulda killed them if they did that” he responded in his usual tsundere ton “Don’t think I haven’t noticed the lack of sleep you’ve been getting, staying up reading that weird ass smut all night” he held you tighter a you sighed your face burning slightly at the revelation

“We don’t talk about that kat” you hushed him playfully “Did you at least enjoy yourself while I was sleeping?” you asked knowing Kirishima would have held him hostage at the party, especially after all the time went into it.

“It was alright, woulda been better without those dumbasses trying to keep me downstairs instead letting me come up here sooner” he also huffed “how’d ya know it was my birthday anyway?” he asked curious as he hardly remembered his own birthday

“Mitsuki called” you smiled cheekily as he chuckled “of course the old hag did” 

“I should at least go help with cleaning up though” you figured as you made another effort to get out of bed, the air cold compared to the warmth of your bed especially now that there was one other person in it.

“Nope” and again, you were gently dragged back down, calloused and rough hands caging you “It’s already done stupid, let’s just go to sleep” he insisted burying himself into your neck as you gave up trying to move “yeah that sounds nice” you sighed relaxing fully back into his body.

“Happy birthday Kat” you whispered as he kissed the nape of your neck softly

“Love you dumbass” and with that you both retired into a soft realm of slumber where not rain or snow could take away the tranquility of this moment.

-From outside the room-

“Denki I don’t think you should be filming them-” Kirishima tried to stop his friend who had filmed your entire interaction

“But it makes good blackmail” he whined as Sero snatched the camera from him “as much as I agree with you there, Kirishima’s right, we should just leave them alone”

“Psst heyyy, wake upppp, heyyy” a familiar voice whispered, shaking you awake as you slowly opened your eyes, dazed with sleep and confusion from the sudden interruption of your slumber. Only to see your boyfriend, Denki Kaminari, his golden eyes oddly bright in the dark room, the only other light being your alarm clock sitting on your bedside table. The bright LED letters read 1:30 am in bold green letters.

“Denki? What’re you doing here? Do you know what time it is?” you whispered suddenly more alert thinking something was wrong “Wellll I may or may not have chugged all the battery acid I made with Sero earlier today” he said sheepishly smiling as he rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

“Really? Are you insane? There was like a gallon of it” You asked incredulously remembering that you advised him that even making the sugar filled drink, though it was interesting to watch, was probably a bad idea. But he saw it on tiktok and ended up convincing Sero that it would be a good idea somehow.

“Yeahh, it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be….but it was fun trying it” he cheered very obviously hyped on sugar. “Well, is there something you need, I love you but I also love sleep which I can’t really get if I’m awake having a conversation” You raised an eyebrow at him though he probably couldn’t see the motion.

“I can’t exactly sleep right now so I was hoping we could hang out” he said tracing small patterns on your clothed leg.

“Really? It’s nearly two am. What are we supposed to do anyway? Everybody's asleep” you asked tired but curious “well we still have the candy from the easter egg hunt this afternoon, I was thinking we could sneak out and explore or something” he suggested as you shook your head 

“You don’t need anymore sugar right now sweetheart. You’re literally vibrating right now” you pointed out putting a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to stop him vibrating but it just continued on though it didn’t seem to bother him much so you left it alone for the moment.

“Yeah I guess I am but it’s fineee” he shrugged “so can we go?” you wanted to protest but you knew that if you didn’t go at least to watch over him, he would probably get into some sort of trouble.

“Yeah let me get my hoodie” you sighed flinging your legs over the side of your bed as he cheered “yayyy” 

And so that’s what you did, narrowly escaping Aizawa as he finished patrolling the corridors for the time being and making out into the student parking lot. The air was brisk and cold making you glad that you brought your hoodie but also worried about your fabulous boyfriend, who despite it being his idea to go out was very unprepared for the temperature.

“Hey pikachu, are you sure we should do this? It’s pretty cold out here” you asked knowing he would get cold later on. “Yep, I just got my car’s heater fixed so we should be fine” he brushed it off nonchalantly and started walking towards his old Mazda CX-5 at the beginning of the lot dragging you with him.

“Okayy, are you sure you should be driving like this though?” with how much he was shaking maybe letting him drive wasn’t the best idea….

“Well you don’t have a license so I’m driving!” he cheered, unlocking the car and throwing himself into the drivers side “come on!” His eagerness was cute. You couldn’t lie to yourself, but you were still hesitant getting into the passenger's side. 

“Where are we going first?” you asked as he started the car “first we’re gonna get snacks” he smiled looking back as he backed out of the lot, his rearview mirror very obviously hasn’t been touched or adjusted properly since it was bought.

It was nice, just driving along the empty streets with him, as he told any and every story he could possibly remember and though you’ve heard many of them a lot you listened happily, content to be able to spend time with him like this.

“So any specific destination or are we just gonna drive around?” You questioned curiously as he shrugged, the shaking mostly lost to the vibrations of the vehicle “ I have a few ideas, but you’re just gonna have to wait” 

Now that made you slightly nervous but also slightly excited grasping his hand over the center console as conversation flowed easily between the two of you and it wasn’t long before you pulled up to a 24/7 convenience store.

“I’ll go inside, is there anything specific you want?” He asked, turning off the engine to avoid wasting gas since it wasn't exactly cheap with how the economy was right now. “Uhhh can you get me f/f and f/d please” you asked was he nodded smiling “okay, I’ll be right back”

Silence settled as you watched him walk inside the light shining bright enough through the windows of the store that they lit up the car just enough to where you just barely see the interior of the car.

The clock on your phone reading 2am on the bright screen as you decided to scroll through your socials looking at things your friends had posted throughout the week and it wasn’t long before the door was opening and Denki was climbing back into the car with a plastic bag grasped in his hand. “I got the snacks now let’s go before the sun comes up”

With the time you’ve been awake since he pulled you out of bed, the idea of going back to sleep was quickly escaping you as you let out a yawn, a guilty look crossed the man's face as he pulled out of the parking lot that he quickly covered up as he got onto the main road.

“I’m super sorry I dragged you outta bed” he muttered as you looked at him “It’s fine, so far this has been really fun” you smiled as he smiled right back at you “really? Well it’s about to get even better” 

As his mood was back he started speeding up well past the speed limit and racing through the desolate streets, the cold air flowing through the windows but at this point it wasn’t the main focus though the speed of the vehicle was exhilarating watching him drive at this speed one hand on the wheel and the other resting on your leg, your own hand in his grasp was very much messing with your mind as you glowed a bright red. Heat radiating from your body slightly and you prayed that he hadn’t noticed.

But it was clear to him, as a smirk appeared on his face and the car sped up somehow faster than what was probably legal but none of that mattered in this moment as the farther you got the less building you seem to pass. 

Trees and greenery overtook the land as the only buildings were a few shrines here and there but even those seemed abandoned as they were overgrown and at the mercy of the forest itself. “Where are we goingggg” you whined having been in the car since you were woken almost two hours earlier.

“Relaxxx, we’re almost there” he laughed as he slowed the car to a complete stop in the middle of a small clearing, “we’re gonna have to walk from here” he stepped out of the car walking towards the trunk as you stepped out following him. “Whatcha got there?” you asked, grasping the plastic bag containing the snacks bought earlier.

Though he also grabbed a canvas backpack you weren’t aware he even owned as most of his possessions were pretty much brightly colored with some sort of graphic or something he saw on social media that he just had to have but this bag was nothing like that, it was a boring brown bag. 

“Just a few things I brought along: he explained slinging the bag over his shoulder  not really indulging more, by this time it was around 3 it had taken a half an hour to arrive at this clearing “We aren’t walking too far right?” you asked not really prepared for a long journey on foot as you were only wearing a hoodie over your pajamas and some old skater shoes.

“It shouldn’t be far, at least that’s what google maps told me” he shrugged “okay, turn on your phone's flashlight cause the sun isn’t supposed to set for at least another two hours” which was true it was really hard to see, the brightest things around being your partners golden eyes as the sugar still circulated through his system and the phone screen he reading off of. “Are we really relying on google maps for this?” you questioned, raising an eyebrow at him though you doubted he could see it. “Yep, that's right, now let’s get going” he smiled, the flashlight on his phone nearly blinding you with the sudden light. His screen was slightly broken but he managed to follow the directions pretty well somehow.

It wasn’t long before the two of you came across a much larger clearing where the ruins of some sort of building was covered in tattered tape which clearly stated not to enter but it looked to be at least ten years old. “What are we doing here?” 

“We’re gonna go hang out on the roof” he smiled, dragging you towards the building which looked as if it would fall any minute. “Are you sure that’s a good idea?” you asked nervously as you really didn’t plan on dying this way or this soon “we’ll be finee, I’ve been here like, a billion times!” 

“But what if something falls on us? or some sort of wild animal comes out and attacks us? what if we get arrested?Isn;t this trespassing? Shit mister Aizawa is gonna be pissed at us he’ll probably strangle us with his sca-” you went on rambling as he covered you mouth with his hand gently silencing you 

“You’re doing that thing again” he stated confusing you 

“What thing?” you questioned unaware that you were doing anything out of the normal

“That thing you do where you’re thinking about everything that could go wrong and stressing yourself out” 

“Well alot can go wrong, we didn’t tell anybody where we were going and it’s dark and-” again he silence you “you’re doing it again, just relax,  I texted Bakugou before I came to get you and I left a note in Kirishima’s room so if we go missing bakugou will know, and kirishima will make him look for us. Try not to think so much okay? Just enjoy living in the moment” 

You relaxed nodding softly, knowing your boyfriend was right, you knew you had a habit of overthinking constantly and you do try to be positive but that’s really hard when everything that could possibly go wrong floods into your head putting you in panic mode. 

Denki knew, as sometimes like everybody he had moments where he did the same, he also knew the mental toll it could take on a person. So his solution was to live in the moment, not thinking good or bad in his head.

“Let’s go” he smiled, leading you through the building taking time to show you smaller details such as some graffiti he and Mina had done on the broken walls, and small messages written on the wall in different colored sharpies.

The building was three stories that had somehow not completely collapsed though they lacked most of the original walls, or walls at all. Lastly he led you to the final set of stairs, chipped, weathered, and leaning more to the left then they probably should but Denki assured you were sturdy being able to support not only himself but the entirety of the bakusquad on some occasions. 

And he was correct the two of you, though very slowly on your part due to nerves and fear of it suddenly collapsing but nonetheless it held strong and you both managed to get onto the roof safetly. 

“Woah, it’s so pretty up here” you gazed in awe as the stars above you were faded compared to when you guys arrived there. The sky now a fading from the night blue to an early morning pink, and fairy lights were scarcely drapped around a mini structure similar to a fort one would build in their living room, the tarp acing as the roof of this smaller structure was held up by two obviously broken and weathered broom sticks.

“What s this?” you asked curiously since denki had never mentioned such a thing here, “me, Sero, and Mina put this together last time we came here, it’s not the most studry but it’s held up this long” he grinned proud of what he and his friends had put together.

“That’s awesome Denki but shouldn’t we get back to the dorm soon? THe sun will be up soon and we don’t want Aizawa to strangle us” you shivered at the thought of whatever punishment your teacher would come up with should he find out about your guy’s early morning adventures. 

“It’ll be fine, we can leave after the sun is up” he assured patting your head before ushering you into the fort, “we can eat up here” the tarp did provide a nice shield from the winds that where all the more potent now that you where higher up so you agreed sitting in the small space as your lovely boyfriend followed you holding the bags that you two had carried with you.

It was nice, just sitting there with him, it wasn’t often you guys did stuff like this. Even though the reasoning behind this adventure was not ideal as funny as it is you really enjoyed spending this time with him. With hero training, and hanging out with friends it wasn’t easy to make time and as much as you both enjoyed hanging out alone in either of your rooms it got old after awhile.

So there the two of you sat, lack of sleep finally hitting the both of you as the blonde next to you began to doze off on your shoulder, and you soon joining him the snacks as long forgotten as the time. While the sun rose peacefully unlike either of you who where completely passed out inside a fort.

-Late; Upon Return To The Dorm-

“And where where you?” you teacher stood across from you both, your boyfriend leaning o your back still dozing off luckily making it through the drive with many pit stops for coffee “uhhh getting milk..?”

You both spent the rest of the evening being hung from the ceiling by your teachers scarf.

🗡 It was early morning, that much you could tell as light streamed through your window.

🗡 And surprise, surprise your husband was miraculously still asleep

🗡 You nearly died as you observed his features, not a single sign of his daily stress present on his face

🗡 Light snores radiated off of his figure, the light highlighting a few scars here and there

🗡 '"He's so pretty” you whispered to yourself brushing a stray piece of hair away from his face

🗡 Still tired after a long night of work, you decide to go back to sleep while you can

🗡 But in doing so you missed the small smile that crosse his face

🗡All in all, mornings, as rare as they are to be spending together, were some of your favorite times of the day

"Can we please get this figured out?" You pleaded looking at the clock in your office as two of your employees argued over a project you had assigned to them.

Now normally this would be fine, they'd work it out, but today was Valentine's Day and you had plans to go out with your husband tonight.

"Look all I'm saying is-"

"I don't care, you're formatting is completely wrecking the entire project"

"It's not that serious-"

Honestly, they had been in your office the past two hours, arguing over the formatting and accuracy of the other persons work.

"Listen here you little-" one began, his face red with frustration, until you interrupted him by slamming a nearby book on your desk

"Enough! Just fix the formatting and go home!" You glared at them exhausted, only to sigh when the phone rang

"Hello?" You asked as around this time of day calls to your business phone were quite uncommon

"Y/n! Excellent you answered, how'd your meeting go?" You smiled waving your employees out of the room as you sank into your chair.

"I honestly want to stab them both" you sighed knowing that as tempting as it sounded, you were joking but with out skipping a beat, your wonderful husband responded

"Okay, well don't get blood on your clothing because not only do we have dinner reservations for seven, but the blood would also count as evidence" you smiled a bit bigger and even laughed a bit at your husband supporting your 'idea' of murder

"You're a hero Tenya, you shouldn't be enabling your partner to murder people" you could practically hear the gears turning in his head and laughed

"I'll be there to pick you up in a few minutes" he went on to change the subject as you laughed even more

"Alright, Love you Tenya"

"I love you too y/n"

"Is that a dead body?" Kirishima asked firefly as he recalled you promising not to bring your deceased 'clients' back to the house

"maybeeee?" You said innocently as if you hadn't been dragging the corpse of a 140 pounds man through your shared house

"uhhhh, I'll have it clean before dinner" you swore hoping your partner would let it slide

Relief flooded your system as he sighed again and waved you off, disappointment flashing across his face as he continued on his day

"Dinner should be done in 20"

"yes sir" you playfully saluted the pro hero before continuing to drag the corpse into the basement

-15 Minutes Later

"Kiri! I got everything cleaned up!" You called as you trenched up the stairs, no signs of your previous activities present.

"I'm in the kitchen!" Your favorite redhead shouted

"Everything's cleaned up" you said as you perched on the counter next to him as he cooked F/F

"That's good" he smiled softly, not exactly meeting your eyes, a pang of guilt hit, your gaze gluing itself to the floor.

"I'm sorry" you mumbled still not looking up, knowing you had broken your promise.

"For what?" He asked coming to stand between your legs. "For bringing another body home" you clarified as he gripped your face softly in his hands.

"It's alright, I'm not mad, as long as it's all cleaned up" he forgave as he kissed your forehead softly.

Once again, despite the decapitated head in your basement, everything was at piece again.

You knew Todoroki was a man of few words, but that didn't stop you from falling for him.

The problem was, because of his constant neutral expression you could never tell what he was thinking. Which means not only did you not make a move to act on your feelings but you remained unaware that he was absolutely enamoured with you.

He made an effort, don't get him wrong, he just didn't know how to express himself very well.

So he just started leaving small gifts in front of your door on days he noticed you seemed a bit down. Generally, though it might now seem like it he was much more expressive.

Coming to you about his family issues, listening to your issues. Though you hardly notice the small smiles that cross his face , if even for just a second, because you were occupied basking in his comforting presence.

But it was getting tedious, for not only the both of you but for everyone around you. Watching the two of you pine after each other.

So, he decided (after seeking advice from Natsuo and panicking to Midoriya) that he would tell you how he felt.

So there he was, standing outside your door, his face the same color as his scar. He was nervous beyond belief and it relaxed a bit as you opened the door.

"Hey Todoroki, what's up?"You questioned casually leaning on your door frame.

" I'm not sure if my actions say it well enough... But I *really really* like you " he said as he fidgeted locking his gaze onto the floor awaiting your response.

"I really like you too" you smiled before pulling him into your room as Midoriya, who's room was not far from yours cheered silently at his friends achievement.
