Your Quest Was To Find A Demon Willing To Accept Your Deal, None Of Them Said Yes. “Primordial Demons

Your quest was to find a demon willing to accept your deal, none of them said yes. “Primordial demons don’t make deals, if you go too deep, just turn back” but you went deeper and deeper, meeting the ancient ones that knew no words.

I used the poll options to narrow down choices for the ball/toy pit poll

The "Fandom" account on tumblr has posted an April Fool's Day set of polls asking people to guess how many of 3 different kinds of toys and how many toys total are in a container. Using the numbers given in the polls, I've found five possible answers to all the poll questions in which the numbers of each kind of toy add up to the total:

247 crabs + 277 horses + 235 paws = 759 objects total

247 crabs + 277 horses + 249 paws = 773 objects total

247 crabs + 313 horses + 242 paws = 802 objects total

239 crabs + 299 horses + 235 paws = 773 objects total

283 crabs + 277 horses + 242 paws = 802 objects total

Feel free to use this information along with your own (or someone else's, no judgement!) size/volume estimations to make your guesses! Or just guess, there are no rules!

Explanation under the readmore:

Each poll gives four potential answers. Assuming that the correct answers for how many of each object there are and the total number of objects are given as options in the polls, this means that the correct total would have to be the sum of three of the answers given in the polls about the individual objects, one from each poll. There are sixty-four possible combinations of one answer from each of the three four-option individual object polls. (If you start with all the combinations you have when you pick the first answer in the first poll and the first answer in the second poll, there are four potential combinations, one for each choice in the third poll. You have the same four choices and four combinations if you choose the first option in the first poll and the second option in the second, and so on for the third and fourth; this gives four combinations for each of the four choices in the second poll, so there are sixteen combinations for each option in the first poll, giving a grand total of sixty-four possible combinations.) I used a spreadsheet (linked here) to find what each of those sixty-four combinations added up to, then found the combinations which added up to a number that was presented in the "how many objects total" poll.

CW: antisemitism, pale of settlement, pogroms, genocide, cultural erasure

I don't think goyim can really conceive of how much Jews actually hold back in our criticism of antisemitism in media, and when you hear us it is often because we see a dangerous message that you don't... Yet.

I have a complicated relationship with Tim Burton's rendition of The Corpse Bride. I love it as a beautiful piece of stop motion art, but it isn't what it should have been, he took a Jewish story from the Pale and with intention stripped it of its Jewish origins. This alone is incredibly antisemitic. The criticism you will hear has probably been "this is a Jewish story, it should have retained its Jewish elements" but have you heard why we feel strongly about this story?

CW: Antisemitism, Pale Of Settlement, Pogroms, Genocide, Cultural Erasure

The story of the corpse bride is incredibly important to me and was born from Jewish trauma and Christian violence. Mobs would routinely attack Jewish weddings, they would murder brides and they would bury them in unmarked graves by the roadside still in their wedding clothes, they reasoned that without Jewish wives there are no Jewish mother's. Jews are intrinsic to the story.

It is antisemitism to take our story, about our pain, at the hands of non-jews and strip it for "useful" parts, in fact it is heartbreaking every time.

We are often forced to pick our battles and fighting a battle over a movie that has already been released by a director with a cult following is not worth it, you only hear us speak up in numbers when the antisemitism may lead to another century of violence, because raising our voice means picking a fight, because so many of you already see our pain as inconvenient and it is exhausting to never be heard.

OMG. OP you have done something special for me: you reminded me of the name of the show I saw an episode of once at a friend’s house as a kid and really liked, but was thereafter never able to find again. Growing Up Creepie managed to speak so deeply to my bug-obsessed child self that fifteen-ish years later I still have some memory of the half episode I watched and I’m super excited right now. Like, I found it! I found that show I was half convinced I must have made up! I couldn’t pin down the specific episode I saw but aaaaa this is That Show skghjjhhg

I’m really curious as to what very short lived, premium channel series y’all remember if any.

Neurodivergent obsessions

Hi, we're the River System! Katlyn (she/they) and Jacob (he/him). Came for the fandoms, stayed for the off-the-wall and the cringe. 22, autistic (language abled and low support needs), Environmental Biology major. Actual Mad Scientists ;) [We do science and don't do sanity!] Mostly this is Katlyn obsessing over bugs and fandoms (Undertale, Hollow Knight, Little Nightmares, Fire Emblem: Awakening, RWBY, Arcane). Also may include photography, dark aesthetics, and general chaos from Jacob. (Cover photo by Sagar Patil on Unsplash)
