Not a lot of studying this week. Ended up submitting an assignment 2 week early, new module doesn't start for another week and prep materials haven't been released yet, and waiting for my supervisor to get back to me before I can start my phd application. Took advantage to have a break and enjoy some crafts.

2025. 03. 10 | but the light!

I love the independence of doing a PhD! I thrive when I’m interested in what I’m doing (I am), I’m constantly learning (also), and I am not being micromanaged (I’m not!). I love my supervisor and the faith she’s showing me to get my own shit done.

I love my job.

I love my project.

My boss is so great.

I can’t tell how much of all this enthusiasm is coming from the sun and how much is real but I’m riding it.

King Arthur did not, in fact, protect me. I had to change my thesis subject to linguistics and now I’m back at square one.

Now it’s up to De Saussure whether I graduate or not

I want to be so disgustingly over-educated that I have more degrees than I know what to do with
