Now i know this cant count towards Inktober, but I like the idea of having something to tell you to draw everyday...so this is my mutated version of inktober haha :P (i wont count it though, so im behind haha)
I think every BTS member (not including RM) should study English a bit more just to communicate better with international fans and understand or reply to the questions when they have an English languaged interview. However, I know it well they have busy schedule...But this is my opinion only... ☺️
Have a good studying, Jungkook 👍🏻
you’re doing so well
Bonus:
It drives me fucking bananas as someone with a learning disability when someone says “just study harder.” Like I’m not already doing everything I possibly can to stay afloat. I’m already on the verge of mental collapse, if I do any more I’ll fall apart. I’m not capable of studying any harder, Karen!
Super quick drawing I did, took me about 50 minutes (short time for me lol) so it's not perfect or polished. When I first started they looked a lot alike but I guess I got lost along the way???
Also I take requests if you willing to pay $2 via Cashapp (won't be incredibly complex or to a t of what you asked for) (I'm so desperate for money 🙏🙏🙏 I have 80+ dollars in Christmas presents I still need to buy but I have less than two dollars to my name right now LMAO)
Anyways I plan to do more of this soon, I want to get my digital style down more and practice rendering as well as translating realism into my style+ I've been slowly listening to the Carrie audiobook. I'll probably draw so I can finish it
im sorry but what the ACTUAL FUCK. HOW THE FUCK AM I MEANT TO KNOW THIS?!
if you understand music theory, i am BEGGING YOU, help me.
Akutagawa?! Nah man his hair is so annoying for some reason smth.. im trying to improve my drawing and stuff… but i feel so stuck to this one base I’ve gotten so good at, yk? Anyways tips always welcome <33
I am on my way to being the best auntie ever or the worst sister-in-law that ever lived. Possibly both.
I am making my 2-year-old niece a plushy for her birthday. She is very hands-on baby and wants to help with everything and be involved in the center of attention. A few weeks after her birthday everyone is going dipnetting. She is two and can not help with dip netting or do anything but watch.
So I am making her a toy salmon. And I am making it so she can filet it. It has guts. It has bones. It is all one piece and child friendly, and I am debating using embedded magnets or velcro to hold the filets on.
She has a kitchen set with a little wooden knife at her grandparents house, who have already heard about this and think its a great idea. We are gonna teach this kid to clean and process fish. She already knows where meat comes from and she will want to get in and do what everyone else is doing which she can not do because the fish are only slightly smaller than she is.
So, salmon plushy
Ultimamente eu venho estudando esboço de cabeça e de corpo, tenho boas e más notícias as boas eu aprendi muito sobre a cabeça e ângulo, mas notícias AHAHHAHA VC CAIU não tem más notícias
Lately I've been studying head and body sketches, I've got good news and bad news.
Well, there's still a long way to go, I still don't know how to draw arms and legs, but otherwise it's ok
I kinda figured out crochet! I don't really know what I'm doing but I successfully made three rows so it's not bad.
Update: How the heck do the ends work?
pls pls pls if anybody has anything like this for bsl pls share i’ve meant to learn it for so long and i am learning (using an actually p decent app called ‘bright bsl’) but learning from a variety of sources is always best especially since there can be more than one sign for a certain word!!
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again but it is absolutely an example of civilizational inadequacy that only deaf people know ASL
“oh we shouldn’t teach children this language, it will only come in handy if they [checks notes] ever have to talk in a situation where it’s noisy or they need to be quiet”
my very first OC in digital art :3 Unfinished, but still !! I had to do this one for my diploma thesis

PSL party program pt. 1
https://on.soundcloud.com/Jf4BFXrp3au4AGy78
PSL is a vanguard party to lead the transition from capitalism to socialism
Housing is a human right; your home shouldn’t be owned by someone else; eliminate landlordism
Climate change: we need to switch to renewable energies, but the capitalist class has an interest in maintaining gas and coal; the American military is the largest contributor to climate change, thus we must eliminate it if we truly want to fight against climate change
Government intervention in the economy: the 2008 financial crisis, and the resulting Wall Street bail out, clearly demonstrated that our capitalist economy depends on government assistance. Instead of bankrolling ceos, the government should intervene in the economy on behalf of the working class. Banks should be state-owned.
Community safety: we need to dismantle the police state and set up community orgs to keep our neighborhoods safe

Dialectical Materialism-
https://youtu.be/bGPSKZgFH70?si=kYXafU_gjLnoz4Ca
Materialism: hard reality/ material conditions shape our ideas/ human thought
Idealism: our ideas (religion, culture) shape our material conditions
Philosophical debates center on which shapes the other; the material or the ideal?
Dialectics: dialogue, interaction; Hegel believed idealism comes first, but he understood back and forth relationship between ideal and material
Historical materialism: applying dialectical materialism to our understanding of history; how do hard economic realities shape how people thinks; and how do the ways we think impact how our economic realities
Marx subscribed to dialectical materialism; he believed material conditions were the primary shaper between itself and ideas, but he differentiated this from mechanical materialism; ideas still shape material conditions, but ideas are primarily shaped rather than shaper; it’s a dialectical relationship

Tariffs - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIhO4AJ1ZBY
High tariffs are historically accompanied by extreme wealth gains for the capitalist class
High tariffs may promote the rebirth of domestic manufacturing, but those job/salary gains are offset by an increase in consumer prices
Tariffs artificially inflate the prices of foreign products, and reduce competition for domestic producers, allowing them to jack up prices in turn
Conversely, free trade (ex. NAFTA), destroys domestic manufacturing and enables American companies to offshore manufacturing and pay foreign workers a fraction of what they would have to pay American workers, increasing corporate profits
If Trump was serious about promoting American industry and helping the working class, he would use our tax dollars to fund factory-building, but instead, he wants to cut taxes for the 1%
Trumps wants to use tariffs to fund the gov’t so he can eliminate the progressive income tax

Dear Me,
I’m at the Brookside Market today, and there’s so much on my mind. First, when I woke up this morning, Angel (oldest sister) was in a bad mood and wanted the apartment to herself. I didn’t know what to do with myself because I needed the space too, simple as that. The apartment is a safe space that shelters me from the outside, from New York City, while I am still struggling. It concerned me that she was feeling bad and I wanted to give her space, but I also wanted to talk too, we haven’t talked one-on-one much at all.
I ended up just staying to myself and offering to make her breakfast, to which she turned down. After I ate, she talked to me about me about my spending impulses after the heels I bought as a birthday present for myself arrived. She wants me to stop being so impulsive with “indulging” myself and stop spending my money carelessly. I told her that I never learned what it means to be responsible with money and practically took advantage of the money available. She was extremely frustrated and abrasive, and went towards assuming that I expect for money to always be there. That I expect people to cover my needs while I indulge in what I want. She’s right? I guess?
Despite whatever negative consequences come, I just move forward with asking for more money when I’m in hot water, just to put myself in the same situation over and over again. I want to be smarter with money, not only for the purpose of learning, but to be successful with the life I want to live. I just need to be more conscious of how I spend. I need to think about the bigger problems more, and really use my money for my needs, instead of thinking about my immediate wants. I need to be more forward-thinking with my money WHILE using my money to provide for myself independently, starting now. All of my basic needs are being covered, but they won’t anymore.
She decided that she and Gem are no longer giving me money, so I have to change and provide for myself. BUT, this is not to say that I want to rely on them or take advantage of them, ever (I haven’t even been spending their money when I’m “indulging”). I still feel really bad about my actions in response to them helping me, and I don’t want to continue those actions. To Angel and Gem, I’m so sorry for unintentionally hurting you and spending money that I have and that you gave me on unnecessary things, rather than saving towards my potential apartment or my subway card. It was not smart nor respectful to do so, and I promise to take this information (even with the nasty delivery) and be smarter with my money, and to learn from this and grow from this point onward.
Part 2 Part 3
Still trying to develop my style
Big respect to the people who learned English as either a 1st or 2nd language.
Learning sign language should be mandatory in all schools.
Why? Well I’m not really educated in this but like, communicating without making noise? Being more inclusive? Third language? Sounds dope to me
I wanna see a bilingual person that doesn't have to search for words and has a great vocabulary but, however, still has to ask for a defenition of a certain word they didn't quite understand in someone's speech from time to time.
Non-native speakers (and native speakers as well) can't know all the words in the language, and non-natives usually have a smaller receptive vocabulary than a native speaker.
man the crazy thing about babies is that like, some people would think that reading a baby a book about farm animals is teaching them about farm animals, but really it’s teaching them about the concept of a book and how there’s new information on each page of a single object, but really, beyond that, it’s teaching them how language works, and beyond that it’s really actually teaching them about human interaction, and really really it’s them learning about existing in a three-dimensional space and how they can navigate that space, but actually, above all it is teaching them that mama loves them.
i wish there wasn’t such a stigma around being proved wrong, bc it’s a part of life, no one can be right all the time. if we didn’t feel as much shame about it i think a lot of things would change a lot faster
When we were children, my sister had private music lessons at her violin teacher’s house. I only visited there once, but I still remember that afternoon. The teacher had an artificial pond in her yard, a large beautiful thing with lily pads and plant life. And in the pond, there were goldfish. I had never seen such enormous goldfish.
I spent several minutes just staring at them (and trying to convince them to bite my fingers.) When my sister’s violin lesson ended, her teacher came out to the yard and explained that these goldfish were the same small creatures that were often unfortunately sold in plastic bags at state fairs. They were only about two inches long apiece, when she bought them and put them in the new, empty pond. In essence, they were like every goldfish I had seen before, but they had been given a much larger, much richer environment in which to flourish. As a result, they had grown into some of the most remarkable, vibrant creatures my twelve-year-old self had ever met with. All because of a pond.
Funny what lessons children remember.
“I very proudly entered the forestry school as an 18-year-old and telling them that the reason that I wanted to study botany was because I wanted to know why asters and goldenrod looked so beautiful together. These are these amazing displays of this bright, chrome yellow and deep purple of New England aster, and they look stunning together. And the two plants so often intermingle rather than living apart from one another, and I wanted to know why that was. I thought that surely in the order and the harmony of the universe, there would be an explanation for why they looked so beautiful together. And I was told that that was not science, that if I was interested in beauty, I should go to art school. Which was really demoralizing as a freshman, but I came to understand that question wasn’t going to be answered by science, that science, as a way of knowing, explicitly sets aside our emotions, our aesthetic reactions to things. We have to analyze them as if they were just pure material, and not matter and spirit together. And, yes, as it turns out, there’s a very good biophysical explanation for why those plants grow together, so it’s a matter of aesthetics and it’s a matter of ecology. Those complimentary colors of purple and gold together, being opposites on the color wheel, they’re so vivid, they actually attract far more pollinators than if those two grew apart from one another. So each of those plants benefits by combining its beauty with the beauty of the other. And that’s a question that science can address, certainly, as well as artists. And I just think that “Why is the world so beautiful?” is a question that we all ought to be embracing.”

Twenty-one guns in a sudden burst
he is number six and comes with
a false sense of security and unexpected
endings at no extra cost
run through the flowers to fall off the cliff
Twenty past birth and settling too young
he is number five and he is easy he is
there he is sweet and he is kind
but he is not wanted
there is no hurt when the time runs out
Nineteen and accelerating fast
he is number four and he is nothing she
has known before or ever expected
it’s only perfect to a point
so the crash and burn is all the harder
Eighteen is self-centered and self-loathing
he is number three and he makes her feel
good but he is nothing that she wants
and little that she needs
it breaks her heart to crush his devotion
Seventeen owns naivete in every color
he is number two and he takes the pale pink
of unearned trust and stains it dark red
with sudden abandonment
it is her first lesson in one-sided love
Sixteen sweet doesn’t know any better
he is number one and he is her sun
and she is burned by his brilliance
brightness masking flaws
he is the high that will always be chased
Fifteen to One and more lifetime lived
than the rest combined but somehow less
if they knew what was coming
Perhaps
they wouldn’t have rushed.
